If your a fan of TIES, get this.
Well the TIE Interceptor is another of the 06 sets. The TIE Interceptor, if you didn't know, was in Episode 6 and came in great numbers. I was honestly surprised to see this as a set.

The TIE Interceptor comes in the same black and blue as most of Lego's TIE's do. I honestly love the color scheme. It makes the TIE's stand out from the other usual grey/ bley and white ships in my collection. This is, of course, a TIE. Meaning that it suffers from that all too common disease, known as "wobbly-wings". Yes the wings on the Interceptor are as flimsy as most of Lego's ships that have wings. But some modding should do the trick.

Included with this set is the almighty Imperial Pilot. He is of course dressed in a sleek jet black. The helmet is basically a stormie's helmet but with a few added stuff to it. Lego really likes to change the poor Imperial Pilots' heads though. The most recent TIE Fighter that came out had a pilot with a blank brown face. This pilot has a blank black face. Poor Stormie's and Pilots. Maybe someday Lego will give them faces.

Well there you have it. It's basically an average set. I would pick up one though. It's great for making Imperial armies stronger/bigger. I picked up two, but that's just me.

A great addition to my son's Lego Star Wars collection.
My son and I had fun putting this together, and he enjoys playing with it. He was looking for Darth Vader's ship, but as that is quite hard to find, this was a good stand-in. All of the Legos teach kids how to follow step-by-step directions, and my son has enjoyed building many Star Wars models.

Jedi Starfighter¿ and Vulture Droid¿

Decals? Cool!
Legos has taken a lesson from models and added decals to their kits. One negative point regarding the decals; the instructions telling where to put the decals are weak. Beyond that small point, this is yet another excellent set in the Star Wars Legos series.

The Vulture Droid part of this set is just okay. The Vulture Droid either looks like a small space ship, or you can rearrange it to make a droid that stands up. The side pieces swivel when in the ship configuration, and the legs swivel in the droid configuration. As I said, there is nothing special with this portion of the set.

The Revenge of the Sith Jedi Starfighter is very cool. The wingtips fold for landing and you can position them in various aspects for flight. The wings also have a limited range of motion. The landing gear also moves into a stowed position for flight, which is really a nice feature because it makes the starfighter appear very streamlined. The cockpit opens so that Annakin Skywalker can get in and out of the starfighter. Annakin also has a light saber that comes with this kit. The light saber can be a pain to get into the cockpit, so I stuck it on a little piece that is part of the wing.

Other reviewers seem to dwell on the fragility of this set. The Vulture Droid is not fragile at all. The starfighter is a little fragile. There are a couple of pieces that seem to want to come off a bit too easily. However, with a little care the pieces will stay on nicely. A little bit of fragility is the price you pay for having a lot of features and details.

The Sith Jedi Starfighter is a nice addition to a collection of Star Wars Legos. I think of the Vulture Droid as a bonus. You need this cost effective set for your collection. Enjoy!

My [...] loves it.
My son loves Star Wars and Lego so these sets are perfect for him. The design is great and the sets help him to learn how to foolow directions. He's been building on his own for over a year now and loves to take apart and rebuild any Lego set on a rainy day. He used to get frustrated that they sets fell apart but has learned to handle them so that they are generally pretty sturdy.

The good benifets
This toy was worth buying! It seems fun to me since I play with legos. I`ve been waiting for a toy like this! If I were you I would buy it

Awesome Ship!!!
I have always loved B-Wings and have told myself that one day I would get one. These new releases caught my eye and so I spent my own money to get one. I was not disappointed. The B-Wing is AWESOME!!! It copies the design and features from the fighter in the movie very carefully, so it's a good-looking model Actually, the B-Wing in the movie is pretty ugly, and this copies the ship from the movie, but I've played enough video games to respect its firepower. I guess it doesn't look too bad. It's a nice Lego, but nothing is perfect. Here are the pros and cons.

PROS:
At a good 15 inches tall, this thing is MONSTER!
It looks really neat
The service tower is a nice thing to have for realistic play
With the tower as a display stand, this thing looks cool in your bedroom
For a huge fighter, it's actually easy to play with
This thing would probably rock in the Star Wars ship battles kids like me have with its 7 guns.
Not too hard to build

CONS:
Kind of expensive
It doesn't break often, but when it does, it's tough to repair
It's not too hard to build, but it does take a while
It doesn't balance too well on the service tower/display stand because it's so heavy. Don't touch it though and you'll be fine
The Ten Numb minifigure doesn't look too good in my opinion
You have to open the S-foils manually. You think Lego would have the little gear-wheel to open it.
Missiles have zip range, but Lego never really came through in the missile department anyway
Engines look a bit tiny compared to the rest of the model
The mechanic minifigure(whichever one you choose to use, I like to use the Ten Numb minifigure)doesn't have a lot of room to stand on
The pilot minifigure is kind of hard to fit in

Overall, most of the flaws are tiny and it's a really cool ship worth the $35.

I have more than one!
I love the original trilogy. The A-wing was an awesome fighter. I loved it's sleek design and speed. The original Lego A-wing wasn't the best set around. I love this new re-design.

This set features the use of white and maroon parts, different from the original grey and red. I actually like this color scheme and if you don't, well, you can change it. The model itself is awesome! The only flimsy part is the back fins, which don't fall off all of the time. Swoosh away with this model! Or display it. Although the nose isn't movie accurate, and the stickers are another dread, they're only minor problems. (Hey you may even like stickers.)Another problem is that the pilot lounges in the cockpit and the computer screen, I don't like either one of those. The cart that comes with it is basic. It's simple yet effective.

The figures are pretty cool. The smilies I don't like but I modded that. The technician has a cool torso and wears a helmet that he can skateboard with! The pilot is dressed in a sleek green with a nice racing helmet. Not movie-accurate helmet but still cool.

This is a very good set. It's only $[...] more than the original and comes with more pieces and accuracy. It's definately worth the money. Buy multiples, you won't regret it.

great
The themes for lego toys have given the concept a whole new life. Kids are now willing to engage the toy and spend time focused on the task of decoding the manual and building the toy whereas with before they would not show the same energy toward assembly toys and favor more passive things like video games and such.

New improved A-Wing
The new Lego A-wing has new colors, a sleeker design, a new Rebel Technician figure, a rebel pilot much like the old one, a small cart-looking thing and a box that fits in the back of the ship. Without the cart, this set has more parts than the old one. I think it is a huge improvement. Now all Lego needs to do is make a new Y-Wing.

We bought this toy for our son and he LOVES it! Very creatively built toy! There are little "surprises" as well (a safe full of money and a hidden recipe for the krabby patty, etc.) This is an adorable toy!

Clone Scout Walker¿

Separatist Destroyer
As the Clone Scout Walker is a previous released LEGO set from the Episode III line, we can conclude that the item is a bestseller. Just the other day at Toys R Us I walked around and found this LEGO Item but I noticed that the item has been around for what seems like a "decade". It is so easy to build but not very durable. Why isn't it durable? It's LEGO, little bricks that easily fall apart. Even though, the instructions are complete and are serious. The directions take you step by step to make sure you can complete the set.

The 2005 lego set (revenge of the sith came out in 2005) is a perfect add to a Star Wars buff's collection. "Execute order 66" the tragic end of one jedi, falls; just because of the command, the blast came from.....the clone scout walker! It can be tough at first to build, but even easier to add to your collection. This is my favorite lego version of star wars transportation.

To any star wars fan out there, I would suggest to buy this LEGO vehicle because it is easy to build, and fun to play with. Because of small pieces it would be and idea to 5 and older. For just a price at $[...] it is tough to beat and pass up.

Buy 10 and Have a War!
This Lego set is one of the smaller sets in our Star Wars collection, but the small size goes along with the value of this set. For the price you can buy several of these sets and build a substantial Star Wars diorama.

The set has a lot of features. The front gun mount swivels left and right. A shield in front of the Clone Trooper driver swivels with the gun. The shield can be tilted at various angles to aid the driver in protecting himself and for visibility. The legs are movable along three joints to give the clone walker a variety of stances. The Clone Trooper that comes with the set has a blaster that you can support on the clone walker.

This set has a few pieces that stick out and thus can come off easier than some of the pieces. However, this set is one of the more durable Star Wars Lego sets, and would hold up well in simulated combats.

The bigger Star Wars Lego sets have a lot of features and are great for displays. However, the bigger sets are relatively expensive and I am always afraid of having a piece come off. This set has fewer features, but the pieces are durable and the set can easily be reassembled, encouraging play. This set is a worthy addition to the collection of most children from ages 7 to more than 100. I recommend buying several of these sets to stage mock battles and to use in combination with larger sets. Script your own Star Wars adventures! Enjoy!

AWESOME LEGO TOY
This toy comes with detailed instructions and is a great add to your collection. You now have a good set that comes with the clone scout walker!
This lego set will be your favorite!

Cool New Toy
I pre-ordered a got the new NXT box last week. I built the alpha-rex. It was fun. Here are my impressions so far...

1. The motors, sensors are well designed and works great.
2. I found a single defective piece in my set which is very uncharacteristic for lego. However, it was still usable.
3. The bluetooth gave me some problems on the second day of usuage. My laptop (Dell Precision M70) and the NXT brick couldnt connect. I had to use USB to download. I dont think its serious issue as it had worked fine previously.
4. The labview software was intutive and straight forward. However, I believe that a 10 year old will need some lessons to get used to it.
5. The display interface on the brick is very intutive. It could have been better with backlight...but then again I think that would eat up the battery faster..
6. The packaging is very disappointing. I plan to buy separate plastic boxes for storage.

Overall, I am very excited and happy with the product. I cant wait for the bluetooth resources that lego will post on their website, which will let me do some cool stuff...i hope :)

Impressive evolution for MindStorms
My NXT set just arrived by FedEx this afternoon. I'm a parent of two (6 and 3-year old) so this is mainly for me for now. I was an early adopter of the first generation of Mindstorms, so naturally I pre-ordered the NXT. I've played with it for two hours, so these are my initial impressions:

- the new motors are Wonderful -- they work as motors or servos (you tell them which angle to go to). They look futuristic and robot-y

- it comes with an ultrasound distance sensor -- whoa that's neat!

- All of the sensors are "slick-looking", and seem to work very well.

- the brick display is quite nice, but the interface is a bit niggly. Lots of nested menus. My 3 year-old managed to delete the built in demo program by button twiddling. It was easy to restore, though.

- the box itself (the "out of box experience") is disappointing. You have to punch out some quarter-circles to allow it to hinge, but they're poorly serrated, so the tears come out ugly. The inner boxes are hard to open so you end up messing those up. In short, the previous mindstorms box was a great long-term storage solution. This one is going in the trash. As a first impression, it's pretty poor.

- back to the good: there's a "quick-start guide" that gets you building a simple robot that is run by a built in demo program. It's perfect: not difficult, but not trivial -- it makes noises and moves around. The kids were enchanted.

- the "powered by LabView" programming environment seems halfway between the nerd-y LabView system that you could buy from Dacta and the totally bozo thing bundled with the old Mindstorms. It doesn't have that "rocket scientist" feel of the old LabView environment, which is both good (it's more self-guided) and bad (I don't see how to zoom out so that I can see complex programs all at once, for example.

All in all, this thing is very impressive, has lots of staying power, and since it supports MacOS X, I'll actually use it, and will most likely pull out my old MindStorms and combine parts. Thanks, Lego -- keep up the great work!

so awesome.
Firmware update worked fine for me. You may need to reset your NXT brick (paperclip beside the usb port) and redownload.

My three year old daughter and I built and programmed the tribot in about three hours. We're thrilled with it.

General Grievous¿ Chase

Not worth it,,,
*Sighs* In my opinion, most of the Episode 3 sets haven't been spectacular. This set is one of them.

This set features Obi-Wan and General Grievous with their own vehicles that corresponds with the movie. General Grievious's Wheel Bike is pretty cool, yet it is mainly made out of Technic parts. Its not worth it alone for $[...] so lets move on to Obi-Wan's.

The Boga that comes with it, is well, plain. The head is alright but the body is sorta bleh. Not worth $[...] so lets move onto the figures.

Obi-wan is what you would expect. But he's welcome, we couldn't have the chase without him huh? General Grievous has a nice torso that is pretty useful in making your own designs. But his legs make the body unstable so he usually falls over. The lightsabers are grey but chrome is a little expensive to produce so it's understandable (5 lightsabers with this set).

Overall, I'm disappointed in this set. It was a cool idea but it lacked many things and the price per parts ratio wasn't good (but new things were added like General Grievous). I think the only reason to get this set is for General Grievous. It would have been a lot better with a clone(s) or battledroid(s).

Star Wars Episode III Genreal Grievous Chase is great!
My 10 year old son is the person that received the Star Wars Episode III General Grievous Chase lego toy. He had saved up his allowance to purchase it and we were very pleased with the toy! He was able to follow the directions by himself, it did take quite awhile to put together, but he did it all in one day. He is very pleased with the toy. I was nervous with how expensive it was, but it is a larger toy and it does a few things. It was worth the money and we were very pleased all the way around, including the fact that it arrived before we anticipated it to.

ITS THE BOMB BABY!!!!!!!!
I got this Lego set for my brother for Christmas. HE LOVED IT. It wasnt very hard to build it (which is a good thing in some ways). He had a lot of fun building it, and I, Myself sat down and played with it with all of his other lego Star Wars sets, (Clone turbo tank, wookie catamaren, Wookie Attack, Mustafar playset, Space battle (Obi-Wan's and Anakin's Starfighter), Arc fighter, AT-RT, Tri fighter, V-wing, X-wing, B-wing, A-wing.....etc) Sorry about that not to be a braggart. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS TOY!!!!!! ITS THE BOMB

Bravo, a cheap Episode 3 set that is better than most Ep.3 sets.
Let's face it, most of the Episode 3 sets weren't all that great. Some were, most weren't. Lego decides to end the Episode 3 line right now by introducing a $10 V-Wing. Now you may think that this is not the big bang to end Episode 3, but trust me, this set is better than most Episode 3 sets (quite possibly the best).

The V-Wing was another fighter for the Republic that was produced in mass numbers. I really like the design of the V-Wing because of its sleek shape and blunt nose. If you look at this set head-on, you can tell it will become the TIE Fighter(which it does). This set is surprisingly strong. I dropped it on the floor and nothing broke off. I give Lego points for that. The overall design is accurate to the movie except for one thing: the wings. The wings SHOULD be facing horizontally in landing mode and then vertically in fighting mode. It's only a small error, and you probably wouldn't care about it if you're not a star wars nut like me.

This set comes with one clone pilot and the head of an awesome looking droid. Note that I only said "head", not the whole body, which is really a shame. I would have liked to have the whole astromech. The clone pilot is the same as from the Arc-170.

So there you have it. This is a great set. Plain and simple. It works well and doesn't come at a high price either. This is great for army-building so maybe you should pick up a few. I know I did.

Jedi Starfighter and Vulture Droid
This Jedi Starfighter and Vulture Droid will probably take 45 minuites to build if you're a average builder. The Jedi Starfighter
has really beutiful yellow colors and the flaps on the wings can go up and down. And it's not that fragile but the Vulture Droid...It's kinda easy to break if you're touching and playing with the wings and you'll be so ticked off when you'll half to re build the wings back onto the droid so that's why I usualy put the Droid somwhere safe and don't play with it, I only play with the Starfighter because it doesn't break all the time. So I suggest you get this really cool Jedi Starfighter with Vulture Droid.

Nice item, but it's not really on sale...
This is a great LITTLE Star Wars Lego set. Although it's advertised as being on sale for half price, don't be misled - it's being sold at Lego's MSRP. If you're looking for a great little ship, then buy it - but don't choose this set over others thinking that you're getting a great deal, because you're not.
