this is the best lego set ever made.a lot of stuff for a godd price.

My eight and nine year old sons are big Lego fans. I bought one set for each of my boys and they each built a different model. Both models came out great. The parts fit together beautifully and the finished product moves very well when played with. The vehicles are even better than they look in the pictures on the box. This was the first Technic set that they tried. I hope they enjoy future Technic sets as much.

This toy is favorite of my 9 year old. He got it for his birthday.

We have resisted buying these because they seemed so cheap...also the usual question we parents always ask ourselves..."What are they going to do with them?"

Our son received his first bionicle from a friend on his ninth birthday...it was cleverly the "bow" on a birthday present. I now regret overlooking this wonderful line of "lego's" for so long! My boys love these! They have the best time building them and an even better time playing with them.

They are priced reasonably so you can always pick-up one as a treat during trips out "shopping". If you encourage your children to "save-up" for some of their "wants", the cost of these is low enough that it doesn't take them months and months to realize their goal.

Please do not make the same mistake I made and misjudge these toys. You will be denying your child a great experience.
Although the manufacturer suggests ages 7 and up, I do not feel a child younger than 8 or 9 would be able to indendently put this toy together. My 7 year old needs some help putting these together, but he loves to try all by himself. That is the point of Lego's, to construct and play. The primary benefit, in my opinion, is the satisfaction of "doing it" yourself!

This game didn't come with any instructions on how to play with it. You just plug in different "instruments" to create music. But the music is not cohesive; it just sounds like noise. Both my 2 year-old girl and 4 year-old boy were immediately bored with this. It is well-made, but it's frustrating keeping track of all the pieces. After only 3 months, I am donating it to my local church. I expected more from the makers of Lego.

Product doesn't do what I thought it would do. The kids get a kick out of putting the "instruments" into the hole, but no interest in creating music.

I love this toy. it's so unique. Unlike other musical toys, this one isnt annoying, it's actually fun to play with and the music it plays is enjoyable.

My 6 year old daughter loves playing with it, my 2 year old nephew loves playing with it and my 9 month old niece also loves it (okay and so do I and I'm 25!) It's a toy that will definitely pay for itself over the years. I wish that the booster kits were easier to find than they are, but even without them, it's still pretty awesome.

What looked like a fun Lego set turned out to be a disaster. Building instructions are deliberately left out--the child has to go to the Lego website to see them. Presumably the idea is to print them out, but the instructions run to 80 pages and on our older printer that was not feasible. We ended up returning the set (a Christmas present) and my son was very disappointed. My advice now for anyone buying a Lego set? Read the fine print to determine whether instructions are actually included in the box.

I just wanted to warn everyone that this item does not come with written instructions to duplicate the four creations. You must download from the lego website. These instructions are difficult to see on the computer and when printed it is especially difficult to see necessary fine details. As any lego lover knows, it's all in the details! What started out to be an "awesome" Christmas gift for an 11 year old boy has turned into a source of frustration. Buyer beware!

Dont be fooled, the box looks cool but you might be dissapointed with this toy. So be careful, i'd rather buy a set than this! But thanks for reading my review, i hope it helps. =)
