It is a nice car - better than a already made car - your son will have fun assemble it will even do some changes and when he finish he can continue playing as if it were a standard car.

i thought it was fun . ihave every one of the harry potter sets and this one is up to standerd with me

i love it i think it is 1 of the best lego sets made it has new peaple has a lot of cool peaces and it has a good look 2 it u no i looks very cool up 2 he rest of all the harry potter legos and i have almost 90% of them!!!

My son received this car for his 8th birthday. He was able to build it competely by himself over a few hours. I think he really enjoyed building it and felt a great sense of accomplishment.

The only knock I have on it is that once it's built it makes a better display model than a toy. It just doesn't do that much. He got another lego set of around the same size for his birthday that had a lot more action items, mini figures, etc. and that is the one he plays with every day.

So...I dont have $1M for the real thing, and since I love Legos, this is the next best thing! I built the 'Model Team' sets as a kid, which are the sets geared toward realism more than functionality; but Lego doesn't really make the line anymore. However, this would be a Model Team set if there were such a thing. For a Lego set, this Enzo looks as much like the real thing as it can and it holds together really well. I actually bought 2 so I could build both models. This is an excellent addition to the Lego Ferrari collection.

This lego set is not radio controlled!

It is a great model team type set.
Also the lights on the front are not stickers but painted on the slopes.

My 8 year old son loves Legos. He recently purchased this with his own money and was very disappointed to find out that it does not flip onto 2 wheels without using a ramp. The picture on the back of the box shows 2 steps: "rev motor forward 4x to activate" then it shows the truck on two wheels in step 2. What you don't really see on the box is the almost translucent yellow ramp between steps 1 and 2. The ramp is kind of mixed in with the lines which are supposed to make the car look like it is in motion. So it was very easy to miss the ramp. If you are considering purchasing this because the idea of it going onto two wheels sounds interesting, be aware that a ramp (not included in box) is necessary to acheive this. Otherwise, it is a normal Lego car with a friction motor.

dude... so much armor! It seems a little bulky for me, but the total body armor covering is a great idea. Too bad LEGO spent all its time on the defense aspect, when it could've developed something NEW for the weapon design. I'm talking about a completely new type of weapon. After all, Makuta is the ultimate villain. I think that many people were expecting something made specifically and exclusively for only the makuta set. But evil doesn't suit me so I might not get it.

i got this set a long time ago in august 2003 and i still have it.
its great! i had so much fun when i got it. if you like building thing that are durable and can whack things you'll like this

I've gotten this bionicle a few days ago, and I must say, as a 10 year old, I'm pretty impressed. It's mask has 2 faces, and you can switch them back and forth. It has 9 points of movement, and there is also a staff swinging feature too. Don't miss out on this thing!!!

My son loved this. We only had a few minor problems getting the pieces to stay together for the arms. He was a bit disappointed that he only had enough to make the dinosaur and no other animals.

The Lego designer series are such a blast for builders of all ages. This one is probably the best one of the bunch. Just look at the price-per-parts ratio! There are over 700 pieces to this monster. There are a lot of great pieces in here, that customizers are going to find very helpful for their own building projects.

The toy itself is very cool, it offers a lot of alternative models to build. They are organized according to difficulty levels for the younger kids. Once the dinosaurs are built, they can be a bit fragile. The T-Rex stands upon his hind legs, and can topple if you're not careful, and when it topples something usually breaks off. However, this is due to the number of joints and other points of articulation. While they are the weakest points of T-Rex, they also provide an immense play value for the kids, and posability for the grown-ups who don't like to call it playing.

I think Lego really did well with this set and the others like it. Some of the older fans like it because it reminds them of the sets Lego used to do in the 70's and 80's, before Mini-figs and specialized pieces were the norm. Good work Lego! I will be picking up more of this series.

I bought this set for my 5 1/2 year old son. He's able to build all the dinosaurs with little help. He likes me to sit beside him and feed him the pieces. I agree with another reviewer about the T-rex, it fell apart upon completion. Fortunately, my son wasn't too distraught, he just built another dinosaur. A container to store all the pieces is a must. Overall, a great toy.
