Thomas Load and Carry Train Set
Made by Lego

Not for younger kids
I got this toy for my 18 month old, who loves trains and blocks. However, I found, much to my chagrin, that she insisted on disassembling the various lego items (light, tunnel, station, trains....). So, we could never really put the set together for more than 5 minutes. Assembling the elements also required following the directions, so it wasn't really fun for her to play with. I think this would be a great toy for a slightly older child, and in fact we gave ours to a friend who is just over 2.

Worth the price, needs more legos
This lego set is great for toddlers/preschoolers. Considering the high price of Thomas the train toys, I think this is actually worth its price. We got it for our 3-yr-old son who loves Thomas and loves playing with the duplo legos. We also got the large box of duplo legos, which was really necessary to give him a chance to really get creative. He makes up some interesting trains, but I think it's only because he has so many legos to work with. So if this is your child's only duplo legos, you might not be as satisfied with the 'playing' results unless you purchase a small box of duplos to go with it.

Love this toy
I purchased this Thomas Lego set for my four year old grandson, who is a Thomas the Train fanatic. He loves it and carries it with him everywhere he goes. It is easy for him to put together and discovering new ways to organize it is challanging for his mind. It's also small enough for him to carry in his back pack and set-up in a corner wherever he goes. Thanks

Buy it, love it.
The Sail Barge was a highly requested set. I was a bit skeptical on how this set would work when I first heard about it. It works...and works well.

What a plethora of minfigs! I thought that the Gammorean Guard had been lost forever. Jabba was a no-brainer but I'm glad to see the Gammorean. Lando's helmet...It's like a thing of beauty. I was expecting a samurai helmet but Lego tricked me and pulled this awesome helmet. Cheers! We also got Slave Leia back! Yay! This was a nice jackpot of figures. It also has R2(With drink server), Luke, Han, and Boba.

Well you probably didn't want to get this for the figures,(or did you?)so how's the barge? One word: Beautiful. The barge is alot longer than what it looks like on the box. The stickers aren't all that bad. Don't hurt me... Well anyway my only two actual complaintes are the Boba Fett launcher and the sails. The Boba Fett launcher, is well, out of place. I don't like it. I took mine off, it's not a necessity anyway. The sails are always in the way when placing figures. It get's annoying. Those are my two complaints. The interior of the barge is quite comfortable and is ,well, just dandy.

The skiff is a MUCH better improvement from the original. The plank is now large enough for a figure to stand on. ou actually pull the plank out this time. It's an ingenious design. The skiff is great and nice little addition.

The sarlaac is rather plain and the figures don't fit in it's mouth. But meh. Im would have bought the set without the sarlaac anyway.

What a great set. It is definately worth $75. Heck, it's worth even more but we get it at this price range. This set is definately on the top 5 greatest star wars sets of all time. Get this as a birthday gift or christmas. I would get this over the new Imperial Star Destroyer anyday. Get this set and be glad you did.

Don't be fooled. This is one of the most fragile sets ever.
Well it's me again, "Chase the Harsh Critic." I rarely give great reviews. Sometimes I do, don't get me wrong. I love doing a Great Review for a GREAT Set! This isn't one of those...

This set looks awesome. Okay, we understand ech other. This set is FRAGILE. I picked it up once and the bottom flew right off. This is definately a display set. Too much play and it breaks. I need alot of plates on the bottom to toughen it up. The green bars in the guns, I don't like those. There is also a "laser blaster" that uses a lever which doesn't work. The bridge is very small. You can't even fit two figures in it at once. The interior is pretty cool. I really like all of the cool stuff they put in there.

There are two Stormies, Vader, a mouse droid, an awesome looking black R2-D5, an imperial officer, and Grand Moff Tarkin plus Two Royal Guards (???). Seriously, two royal guards? G. Moff I understand is for playability and all, but two royal guards? I'm sure many people, inlcuding kids and myself, would have rather had 4 stormies to build up an army. The guards seem useless without the Emperor...

There you have it. Yes, I did type this in a hurry. The UCS ISD is greater than this, but hey this is minifig scale. I honestly don't think this is a bad set. Just average. I don't know if you want to shell out $100 for this though. 3 stars!

A must for Star Wars and Lego fans.
This set is incredible. So much detail that a collector would love it and huge amounts of mindless fun for everyone. This set requires lots of time ( took me 6 hours but I'm a slow builder ) and is well worth some frustartion you go through. The bags are numbered so after one part is complete you go onto another bag so looking for that one tiny piece isn't that hard. Another added bonus is the 9 minifigures you get which well adds some force to your Imperial army. The only downfall to this set is that it is fragile at some points. The bottom of the ship is fragile, if your grasping it from there and then lifting it, well it breaks. So what I did, is added some more pieces to the bottom to make it more durable. Over all the biggest and greatest Lego set I ever built. HAVE FUN!!!

This would make The Emperor proud!!!!
I bought this set just a few days ago and I must say that while it does seem pricey, it is completely worth every penny. The amount of detail inside this fantastic set is just mind-bogging and pure genius. It took me 4 hours to build this model and that was with no breaks!!! The mini-figure selection is unique and quite generous; the coolest feature inside the ship is that you can put Darth Vader inside his meditation chamber and put his helmet on when being interrupted by Imperial minions. I feel that this set is a worthy addition to anyone's Star Wars collection, and truly gives the builder a sense of accomplishment once completed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!

Dis Rox!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!But it should have a Cedric minifig
Four words: THIS SET IS BRILLIANT! The Minifigures are Harry, Voldemort (You-Know-Who), Wormtail, Malfoy(Death Eater) and a bunch of skelys. If I could improve it, I would add a Cedric Diggory minifigure. But, apart from that, cool and spooky! Hey, I'm the SECOND person to review this!

Ha! I'm the first to review this!
This lego is awesome. It comes with Harry, Voldemort, Peter Pettigrew, and Lucious Malfoy. This is a must-have for HP fans like me. It has 4 graves and the pot that Voldemort rises out of. It also has the Tom Riddle grave and the gravehouse thing. I hope they make more Harry Potter 4 Legos. Right now there are only 4.

    lego base plate
It really is not what I was looking for, but the children have found other uses for it.

    Essential, but not without flaws
These baseplates are important if your little one likes to build structures with Legos. I'd recommend attaching them to a board (I wood-glued 6 of them to a board, added some molding, and put sliders underneath so I could store the board under beds or sofas) so they won't flex.

Otherwise, you'll definitely need to encourage your child to play with these on a table or other hard surface, and warn them that moving their constructions to another spot might result in the creations coming apart.

    Very useful
I would say that while I think 7 bucks is a bit much my son has had constant play using this and has definitally put 7 bucks worth of use into it I think. I do agree that they should be included and I also would like to find one of the lego tables although someones suggestion of fixing them to a board or something might just be an idea. My son has used them to build hotels on or even makes his own "game grid" or mazes or even maps. He is 7 and I have to say he loves this thing and I plan on maybe getting him another. I nearly forgot to add that while some people have seen durability problems we haven't. It has even been stepped on by his older sister and while it left a faded green mark it did not bend it or anything. It has been very durable for us.

    Catwoman
When i saw that Batman legos were out i flipped out. i LOVE lego, and i LOVE batman, it was like the perfect pairing for me. so i had to get the cheapest set since i only had like 5 bucks, and got this one. i normally hate the smaller sets but i was really satisfied with this set for one reason: catwoman. there arent that many female legos, and having catwoman who is one of my personal fav. batman characters available with this cheap set i was really happy. overall i love her bike becuz it never breaks apart. i have wood flooring, so you can imagine how many times i drop my legos while im playing and they break apart. but not her bike which is what i love. i didnt like the dragster however...but still catwoman alone makes the purchase worth it.

        A beautiful bionicle--pricey, though!
My son really wanted this bionicle, but bionicles are so expensive that I only buy them on sale, and this item--from toysrus--was priced reasonably (about half the normal price). It's really beautiful, with at least three complicated and attractive figures buildable from this one set, and is pretty sturdy (none of the pieces fly off, as is sometimes the case). I'd say it's the best one I've seen yet, worth a full $25 or so. Unfortunately, the normal retail price is more like $50.

        Bionicle Vahko: Ultimate Dumerator
I bought this bionicle for my son (7 y.o), and he enjoys is very much. The box contains three bionicles, and you can combine two or three of them to make a bigger bionicle. Younger children (<7 y.o) may need an adult help to build them. It is also a value for money to buy the three bionicle in one, because you have to pay more if you buy the all three separately.

        Its OK
It's an OK set, I tried it, but I mean its not like TOTALLY AWESOME, just OK. I recommend it though for those who don't have any of the 2004 Titans.
