This was an excellent and challenging project to assemble. Keeping the spectatoros in the stands can be tricky but we enjoyed building and playing very much. Just the latest edition to our extensive HP Lego collection.

I'm getting the set for Christmas, along with all the other one's, I just saw the movie, and I'm 13 too, and I'm a girl. I've collected the HP legos for a long time, and I can't wait in till Christmas, there's only one thing I wish they would have made with these legos, a Cedric Diggory, he's sooooo cute!!!!!!

it is very very fun because it is based on the real moivey and harry allso has a magnetic hand whith can pick up the maginetic meatal goleden egg

These blocks were the LARGE DUPLO size blocks, which was not well-explained in the item description. Of course, I noted the age range but stupidly assumed that these were the same size as the regular lego blocks.

Anyway, my 4 year old got them for Christmas and she liked playing with them on Christmas day. However, my parents gave her a real Lego set the next day and she plays with it much more!

All in all: Great for the money. Lots of imaginative play. Very sturdy and easy to put together and take apart. Be aware these are large blocks great for smaller hands!

We've purchased this as a complement for the Bulk Tub, and both sets completely fit in the tub, so we use the bucket to store other toys in the bathroom. These are large duplo pieces, the smallest about an inch square, great for babies starting 6-9 months old. The comments I made for the bulk tub apply, and I highly recommend these for the versatily and creativity. You can make anything out of them, you're only limited by the number (both sets are enough for quite a lot) and by your imagination (I've made, trucks, boats, castles, even a cathedral). It provided great long hours of fun with my daughter now 3 years old. I expect it'll do so until she's at least 6, at which point we may switch to other smaller but more challenging toys (like the reggular legos).

My daughter is 18 months old and she loves to play with blocks. She developed interest in bigger blocks that came with the activity table. She liked to create a tower with it. To elaborate more of her hand-eye co-ordination skills, I bought this 90 piece bucket for her. It is a perfect first blocks set for a toddler. The blocks are not too big like Mega blocks and not much small like Duplo blocks. This size is perfect for their tiny hands to work with. Plus I find the bucket has nice quantity of blocks, not too many to get tired of the mess and not too little so that the young ones get to explore enough.

My son is 24 months and he loves playing with this toy. It gives me at least 20 minutes to relax.

We purchased our first set of Megablocks when our son, now 7.5-yrs-old, was a toddler. He LOVED them. We have added two or three bags of Megablocks to our collection each year and now have an enormous box of them. All three of our children still play with them at least once or twice a week. My husband and I enjoy playing with them, too. We now have enough blocks that we can build an entire city in our living room.

I have heard other parents complain that their kids lost interest in Megablocks when they got older - but the same kids will come to our house and spend hours building. They just need MORE Megablocks!!! Seriously, these are a wonderful toy.

I bought the "Bigger Then Me Mega Bloks" for my little 3 year old grandson. He just loves them. He could play with them for a long time putting them together and trying to build things. Also they are teaching him the colors, sizes, and shapes.

my 2-year-old loves bob and loves legos...he likes making the caravan and travis. the other pieces he honestly treats as lego pieces - not really creating anything b-the-b specific. but legos are always a great gift!

This is the 2nd biggest set in the Duplo Bob the Builder series, but it seems to be the most pleasing playwise, as it comes with a building with opening windows and door, table and chairs, Bob, his cat, and Travis. It also comes with a trailer to put the house on, and it can be towed by Travis. While the Scoop and Lofty set has two vehicles in it, the buildings do not build up to much of anything, so you would just end up having more loose blocks around the house (that big set has 80+ pieces). I couldn't justify spending the extra money on it either. I recommend this one as the best in the series.

My son loves these sets, but he also has the Thomas Duplos and tends to spend more time playing with those.

This is a great lego set. My 1 1/2 year old son loves them. He crashes the truck and Caravan all the time and they never break. He really likes the Bob and cat that come with it. These are also the right size to use with the Bob click brick sets. This truck fits in to the parking thing with the talking click brick trucks.

My 3 year old son has difficulty attaching the arms and excavating portion of muck as it requires more *strength*.The box says it is for kids 2-5 .Otherwise it is quite durable but somehow he doesn't get satisfaction of building muck on his own.

My son just turned 2. He loves Bob the Builder and all the machines. Once he was shown how to construct muck, he found it easy to duplicate. He has no desire to build the recycle bins. He actually has 2 other Bob the Builder lego sets, Travis and Bob's Mobile Caravan and Benny's Set. He loves them all!

You get a decent size vehicle in Muck and you get two recycling containers and a chute to build, so the play value for the price is excellent. I think this is the second best set in the Bob line, after the Travis Caravan set.

My 2 year old son received this airplane as a gift on Christmas and has played with it a ton in the past couple of months since. Legos in general are great tools to allow kids to learn about the world around them and use their imagination. My son has spent hours loading the cargo hold of the plane with the forklift, having the passengers get into the plane for an imaginary trip to "Hawaii" or "California." It also helped us get him ready to go on long plane rides and long waits at the airport, as there is a context in his mind to seeing various airplanes out in the runway, and waiting in line to board the plane and such.

A couple of notes: Unlike other lego sets, this set isn't designed to allow kids to build different things, you pretty much have an airplane and thats all you will ever have with this. Also, we used some double sided tape to keep the wings tight to the body of the plane, as that is the annoying part of the lego toy (lego lovers can understand) that always keeps coming off.

This set is more of a booster than anything. The only actual sets you can build are vahki, and you can build 4. There are also tons of metru masks, both toa and matoran, lots of toa metru armor, weapons, feet, some random bodies and feet, and at least 9 or 10 rahkshi heads, plus some more! I highly recommend it.

I got enough for 3 vahki, and a Rahkshi. This does not match up with other comments, leading me to the conclusion that Lego is cleaning out it's storerooms. However, it contains an impressive amount of pieces, and shold be a good BOOSTER to a collection. Also, the latest sets I would expect is pre-Visorak pieces. Remember, you may get lucky and get 5 or 6 kits worth or you might just get a totally random set. Either way, I belive it is more the worth the price.

I thought this toy was a great source of pieces for MOCers.
There were some good & bad parts to this toy:
good parts
1.It came with a wide range of parts,mainly from the 2004
series(which was great for me,seeing how I only got a few
of those sets).
2.I don't know if this is good or not, but it also came with
2 pieces from the brief Lego hockey series.
3.The set also came with 5 of 6 Rakshi,Toa Metru,& Metru
matoran masks(it also came with 2 kraata jars from 2003).
4.Came with enough pieces to make 4 Vahki of 2 different
varieties.

bad parts
1.I had to add several parts to make a creation of my liking.
2.Comes with NO Metru heads or any type of eye(with the
exception of Rakshi eyes),only Mata Nui heads(no eyes).
3.Didn't come with enough parts to make ONE Toa Metru or
Rakshi.

OVERALL
This is a good set to get only if you have at least
3 canister Bionicles of any kind to add parts.But really,
I thought the set was worth getting just to get the Metru
masks. On a scale of one to ten:
I give this set a 8 ********
