I bought this toy last week and I LOVED it! It is cool because the windows crash open and you can launch Spider Man into the air! Buy this toy now for hours of fun! And for a great deal too! (...)!So don't wast time and buy now!

"Spider-Man 2: Doc Ock's Hide-Out" represents the climax of the blockbuster film from the summer 2004 that is about to make it to the Top 10 list of all time money makers. Doctor Octopus has kidnapped Mary Jane and taken her back to his secret hideout at a crumbling, abandoned pier. Not only is Spider-Man on his way to rescue the woman he loves but so is Harry Osborn who is heading towards the scene in his speedboat. Yes, you are right, Harry never had a speedboat in the movie and he was too busy talking with his dead father Norman about becoming the next Green Goblin in "Spider-Man 3" to do anything about saving MJ. But his is a toy and while Harry has a speedboat there is also a catapult you can use to get Spidey to the rescue a lot faster by sending him flying towards the hideout, although he also has "webbing" to swing on. Doctor Octopus has his new and improve fusion reactor to play with, which leaves only MJ just to hang around as the requisite damsel in distress with nothing special as an accessory.

This 480-piece LEGO set includes the figures of Spider-Man, Doctor Octopus, Mary Jane and Harry Osborn, along with the aforementioned items, and obviously you want to be careful with Doc Ock's multiple arms, which are more helpful than you would think for securing him in strange places. The hideout ends up with one side being open so you can see the rescue you are staging, and, of course, you can use your other LEGO blocks to expand what you have here into something even bigger. Other LEGO sets in the "Spider-Man 2" collection are "Spider-Man's Street Chase," "Doc Ock's Bank Robbery," "Spider-Man's Train Rescue," "Doc Ock's Fusion Lab," "Doc Ock's Crime Spree," and "Doc Ock's Cafe Attack." You look at these titles and you are inclined to think that LEGO is siding with the super villain instead of the hero in this one. If you arrange these LEGO sets in the right order you can create a nice little series of tableau's representing the blockbuster film. However, I have to admit that I was a bit surprised that "Doc Ock's Hideout" is the big set in this series, but then it does represent the big finish.

Legos are just awesome. There is something so special about them - I had many Lego sets as a child and now wish I still had them so I could add on to them with this new set. Lego just keeps getting cooler and cooler - always reverse compatible with sets from 30 years ago, plus introducing better looking characters with hands and other "tenticles" that can hold on to various structures. Not only can you reproduce Doc Ock's hideout, you can combine this set with any other to make some really far-out looking structures.

Legos are great for occupying kids for hours - they totally get lost in imagination while building and they become very quiet while working (unless they are fighting over the same piece with another child!).

The only limit is your own imagination.

My two girls wanted this item for christmas. My six year old does very well, but the three year old needs lots of help. Six year old need help with just following directions with patterns. Its a great way for them to learn how to follow directions. Very sturdy sun catcher and cute. They snap together and you have a special tool to get them apart. Please note: This is for older children 6+.

My 10 year old got this for his birthday after drooling over it for weeks. It Ran super duper. Then the wheels got stuck in a right turn and would only release if done by hand. We called Lego directly and they are going to send him a brand new one no charge and we get to keep the old one. Wow, I love it when a company stands behind their products and has a "no questions asked" to make their customers happy. I would still give this product a great rating despite the problem.

In northern maine winters you need to have a Remote Controled car that can take te snow. The only problem is that the baterie runs out too quickly. Other wise great toy.

very well made and easy to put togther. A little more expensive than similar RC cars by Tamiya but hey it's Lego so you expect a little more cost. Anyway get a extra battery or two because you will love this toy. Works great in dirt, gravel, pavement and grass that isn't too wet. Check lego.com and buy.com for a possibly better price.

i suprized to see one of these its like getting a new bike these are great i hade one once but i dont know were the peices are and how much it is now. i want to buy but.. how much is it theres no price but parents out there bionicle are good for your child good for the soul lol

The bohrok were a very interesting story. The only problem is, when the rubber band on the back breaks, it's useless. It can't lunge, and it's no fun.

The Pahrak is rare nowadays. I was suprised to find it here, when it becomes available I hope to buy it.
