perfect for 5 year old star wars fan

My 5 year old son has seen most of episode 5 and loved it when he recieved this set for his birthday last week. It is too complicated for him to build on his own, however, its a fun family activity to build together, and afterwards the pieces can be used to make designs from your imagination. He loves it, and has played with it every day for the past week.

Everything excelent except shipping box

Everything was excelent except the amazon box where the toys were dispatched. It was so big (three times) compared to the original toys box, that I was charged two times the value of the toys on the shipping to my country.

Creative Possibilities

This is a colorful and creative toy to keep little fingers and minds busy

THE BEST!

If we have to choose just one toy, this is it!!
My son has the blocks everywhere he goes (he's 23 months old), I mean everywhere. In the car, in the restaurants, in the house, he always has some blocks in his hands. He's loved to build blocks for almost an year. The best toy ever.
I also recommend the lego block table (I bought it in Kidsrus store). The table seems a little bit high for a 2 year old boy, so my son has to fold his legs when building blocks on it. But, worth to buy it:-)

Good basic

Bought this for my 2 year old who has access to lot of LEGOs at daycare but was asking for LEGOS at home. She loves it, lots of creative games with it, including bath toy, and I have rediscovered my childhood LEGO skills! Excellent basic starter kit. Only reservation for younger child these are medium size blocks, still be cautious on putting in mouth.

Lego Ferrari F1

This set is a good value. It's got a working engine and looks
surprisingly realistic. It's about 18.5" long. It's a good
value for lego.
So why didn't I give it 5 stars? Well, it has no suspension like the Lego Silver Champion and Williams F1 cars. Also, the
car tends to be a little flimsy. It has cheesy construction. Still a good value.
For a more realistic model, look at the lego Williams F1 racer.
It has more details, and costs about twice as much.

Lego Nut's / Formula One Fan's #1 Pick

I have been a Lego 'Maniac' ever since a child. Now over 25, I still enjoy the opportunity to build a cool set. Also being a Ferrari F1 fan, this is the BEST of BOTH worlds! The set is very detailed for a Technic / Racer Series. Of course its not AS functional as the Silver Champion or Wlliams, its half the size and price. And because of this, it fits on my shelf, proudly displayed along with various other sets.
