This toy is a piece of junk. It has a useless steering wheel that does not turn the wheels. We received it as a gift. Save your money, and buy something a little more practical. The only fun my son gets out of this car is standing behind it and pushing it around, and that only last a short time before he's bored and the toy is pushed to the side were it sits unused. I would not recommend this toy

We got the Big Red Car for my son for Christmas. He was almost 3yrs old at the time, and he LOVES it. He gets lots of exercise pedeling it around outside. This would complete any Wiggles collection. Highly recommend!!

Last Christmas I ordered this car for my 2 year old, and was a tad bit skeptical that he would actually use it long term. However, since he has loved cars since 4 months of age, I figured I'd give it a try. At first, he only sat in it with a look of ecstasy on his face, then as he got older and more coordinated, he started "driving" around the house. Now, he zips around the house fast as can be, takes sharp corners without knocking anything over or dinging up the walls, and can even drive down the hall backwards. He has played with it every single day since it arrived under the Christmas tree. I was even able to put this car together by myself (and I am horrible with following instructions). My son is big (over forty pounds at almost 3, and tall too) but I predict he will actually fit into this car until age 5.

I really love this toy, but my 3 and 2 year olds do not play with it much. It is really neat how the toy talks and can tell what item you pick up and play with. But it doesn't hold my kids attention long. It may be more suitable for a four or five year old.

I bought this for my [...] because she is always trying to play with the stuff on my vanity. Several months later she is still playing with it. She knows how to use each item - put lipstick on, blows her hair dry, ect. She is also learning her shapes since each piece is shaped different and can only fit in one spot. My only complaint is the mirror. It can scratch really easy. Overall, the vanity is great!

Update: My daughter is now [...] and still loves this vanity. It is one the toys she plays with on a continual basis. She loves to "paint" my nails or "do" my husband and my hair.

We bought this toy last year for our now 3.5 year old daughter and she still loves it! She is very into pretend and dress up and this toy is perfect for her! She plays with it all the time and even pretends to do my hair and make up with it! I like how it "talks" based on the item you are using, if you take the comb out, it says "Comb your hair, make it pretty". My daughter and her friends have gotten a lot of use out of this toy, I would definitely recommend it!

We purchased this for our daughter when she was 2- the other kitchen just seemed to have too many bells and whistles and cost more...kids can use their imagination with the gadgets! It also didn't take up alot of room like others did-it fits in corners nice too. The only problem we had with it was the phone on the side kept popping off- and eventually broke. The overall construction is good though- doesn't tip over as easily as others do. But overall-it was a nice kitchen for your money-

We just bought this kitchen for our 2.5 year old for Christmas, and out of all the toys she received (including the Dora Talking House) this one she plays with the most. It took us a little time to put together, and I needed my husband's strength to push a few pieces into place, but once assembled it is very durable.
My only concern was the lack of a fridge, but she hasn't even noticed. I figure in the future if it really becomes a necessity, I can purchase a stand alone fridge like most of us have.
It is the perfect size for her and her friends to play at the same time, and will have many years of play ahead of it. The only drawback is that it does not come with too many cooking utensils and only one hot dog for food, so be prepared to buy a package of food and pots and pans to accompany, but since those items can be purchased for very little money, the kitchen is still a good choice and a good value for its size and durability.

My daughter loves this stove and has used it for everything from pretend cooking to washing her baby dolls. She enjoys it the most out of all her toys. Putting it together was a pain, but she has enjoyed it so much that we have forgotten all that. I just wish she would realize it's not real when she tries to pour her drinks down the sink.

I bought one of these yesterday. I get it home get it all put together and my son goes to use it and it dont work. So I went out and bought new batteries put them in it and it still didn't work. SO I took that it back and got another, I get the 2nd one home and the screw holes weren't drilled all the way so I had a hard time getting it together. After messing with it for an hour and get it outside the thing it just a piece of crap. When it said keeps score all it says is "2 points" instead of telling the actual score. Then the lever that hits the button to keep score wouldn't work unless you lifted up the backboard a tad but that didn't last long after sliding back down. Then the ball wouldn't go through the net because it's to light to push the lever down.

Overall just a horrible toy. I went out and bought the Fisher Price ESPN edition hoop and so far we all like it and it was cheaper.

I bought this toy a couple of days ago and had exactly the same problems as some other people did.
The assembly was easy but the problems started after that. My boys were excited and ready to start playing but the electronic part (more specifically the score counter) of this thing wouldn't work. I tried 3 sets of fresh batteries and it still didn't work.
After I spent some time, I figured out that the backboard sits tightly on top of the rim. So, there isn't much space left for the lever, that hits the button, to move. As a result, the electonic part of this noisy toy cannot count the score.
The problem could be solved if you stick a wedge between the backboard and the rim to increase the distance between them.
However, this solution is unacceptable!

I paid the extra money for the time/score counting features of this toy and I would expect it to operate as supposed to do without "wedges" and other tricks!

Other problems: toooo noisy!!! The only way to adjust the sound level is to turn the electronic features off.
Also, as someone else wrote: the ball is too light and the net too tight so that the ball can not go through the net.

I am ready to return it and buy the cheaper version without the electronic features!

I bought two of these games for two sets of grandchildren. The kids love it and fight over who's going to play first. Their parents love it and get into animated discussions over who won. And, the other day, we found another family member loves it too. My son heard the electronic score keeper say "two points." He thought it was odd because the kids weren't in the basement where the game is kept. The game said again, "two points," and my son went to see what was going on. Just as he rounded the corner, he saw the cat leap up and grab the orange lever that keeps score and the electronic scorekeeper said "two points," again. The game is set at a height of 4.5 to 5 feet, which is not too high for a young child or a quizzical cat. I recommend the game because, as I said, the whole family enjoys it. It's a nice way to work off young energy in the winter months if you have room for it in your basement. PeggyB
