We wanted to get our 18-month old a slide for Christmas but the stand-alone slides seem a little small. However, we didn't want to invest a small fortune because it's hard to know what will intersted a kid in 2 or 3 years. This was the perfect compromise. The slide has a little zip to it and our son gets to climb to his heart's content. But if after a year he gets tired of it, we won't feel bad for wasting a bunch of money. My husband also likes it because it's small enough to move off the grass in order to mow the lawn.

I got this for my 2 year old and he loves playing on it as much as my 5 year old. I bought it to use inside (in their playroom), since we live in cold, snowy Maine and it is great. I did put down foam squares in case they fell, but so far, so good...no falls!

This is the best climber for a 2 year old. It was supposed to be a Christmas gift that had to wait until March when ds was 19 months old. We ordered it on the internet and it came only a few days after we ordered and not the 1-2 weeks like we were told. He climbs, crawls and slides on this all the time, even now 8 months later. We had this put together in less than 20 minutes. The slide is also a good length for growth. This is a better option than the Kangaroo climber (which is tiny and cost more).

I just bought this car for my son (15 mos) who LOVES the concept of the car -- it is one of his favorite toys. BUT, the quality of this car is not what I would expect from Little Tikes. First, the car arrived with broken parts (the door was cracked on the seam and the steering wheel didn't snap into place). While Little Tikes was great on replacing the parts quickly, the new steering wheel still did not work. I ended up using a screw and bolt to fix it into its place. Trying to assemble the car adds to the disappointment from a parents perspective on this toy. It was almost impossible to "snap" the parts into place -- even after calling for more specific intstructions, trying oil and the recommended dishsoap method. The roof, although finally in place, still comes apart and does not stay in place at all in the back. It's extremely frustrating and I'm afraid that my son will ultimately break the car due to the poor construction.

Overall, I would say save this one for a garage sale purchase! Not only will you save money on the purchase price, but you will not have to have the hassle of trying to assemble it!!

I purchased this car for my son's 2nd birthday. He loves getting in and out of the door. I would recommend this toy.
We had to put it in his bedroom the first night we had it and it was the first thing he asked for the next morning.

This car is just too cute! My little one LOVES the siren. I had absolutly no problems putting this together and everything works just fine. I find this to be a very good value for the money.

My 4-year-old is a sandbox nut and I wanted to buy only one that he could grow with. This sandbox is it. Pouring rain all day did not bother it - all the sand and toys inside stayed dry. The lid works fine, I wish it were sturdier to support heavier children but then the lid would likely be too heavy for one adult to put on. An arrow or other marker on the lid would be helpful to show which way it goes on. This was a perfect choice for my digging, construction, building guy for years to come.

MY GRANDSON REALLY ENJOYS THE SANDBOX THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE FOUND IS EVEN WITH THE TOP ON,IT FILLS WITH WATER WHEN IT RAINS AND BECOMES MUD.

My kids love this sandbox! Despite other's experiences, our sand has stayed completely dry during rainstorms. It has rained at least 10 times since I bought this sandbox, and not one drop of water has reached the sand. Two criticism -- the crane is slightly difficult to operate, and the lid is not sturdy enough for kids to play on like the pictures on the website show.

My daughter loves this swing. We bought it ot put on the variety climber with swing set extension. She'd love to swing all afternoon if she could. I do have to agree with the other reviewers, the swing does tend to swing at a diagnol, but it happens when the child in the seat isn't centered in the seat if they are leaning to one side or the other. You can only do small adjustments on the swing because it only comes with rope. No extra chain etc. really will fix the diagnol swing, but you can barely tell it swings that way. It has not taken away from the fun value and Grace doesn't seem to care one bit. It is safe with a buckle and easy to get in and out of once you do it a couple of times. I would buy this swing again, diagnol swinging and all.

I bought this swing for my son when he was 14 months. Its the best outdoor toy I've bought yet. He loves it. We swing every morning and evening in it. No problems at all with its functionality. Some reviewers say it swings side ways. Well, that can easily be adjusted. Ours did also when we first attached it to our swing set and with minor adjustments its perfectly straight. Even though my son is very tall for his age I think we can still get another 9 months or more out of it.

My son loves it, and I have not had any problem to get him out of the swing.

This TV was not what I had expected. When it arrived, it was packaged well but had a damaged exterior plastic piece on the side of the TV.
The TV also has a light on the front of it(power indicator) that is on even when it's pluged in and not acctually turned on.
This TV obviously has problems but it's not worth returning to Amazon.
Plus, just days after I purchased it, it was marked down $20 cheaper...Figures!

I love the T.V..... it's great... Looks great in her pink and purple room. And under 40.00 what a great buy!!!! I'm glad I got it!!!!

We purchased this TV on clearance even with shipping all the way to Alaska it was only $55.00 total, a great deal, the Tv works great! its heavy and well made, It is purple, so maybe not for a boys room? I am thinking of buying another for my other daughter! I gave it 5*'s for eduactional value because of all the educational shows and games we can enjoy on it, and same for Fun!

My Granddaughter loves to have tea parties and I though this would be perfect for her. Like some of the other buyers I could not get it to work until I sucked on the "straw" that brings the water into the pot.YUK! Also it is only $14.99 at Target and I think that bugs me more than anything else.

I purchased this coffee maker three years ago. It has been played with by my now 4 year granddaughter and now my 1 1/2 year old grandson is enjoying it also. It has been a very fun set for both the children. It has taken being banged around and taken many falls to the floor but just keeps on working. I have been served many cups of coffee from this set. Recently, I showed the four year old how you could put water in it and it would brew up a pot of coffee, ( something we won't mention to the 1 1/2 old for a while )now it's a whole new toy to her and I now have to really drink all this coffee she makes for me. This is an awesome toy !!! Attractive, realistic and very well made indeed !!

I got this for 14.99 at target. I bought the microave and mixer also for that price. The "coffee" goes up top like real ones. It comes out into the coffee pot. Really cute! I'm suprised by the price on here though.

My son recieved this as a gift at 6 months. Even though it's rated for 9 months and up, he enjoyed it and still enjoys it. Here's what we like about it:

1. He likes spinning the football and can do that unassisted, even while sitting. I spun it for him once and he "got" it right away. It's something he can do sitting and without help.

2. He likes the sounds/music when you put a ball through the hoop, and even though he couldn't do it seated, he loved it when we'd hold him up and let him dunk the ball.

3. He loves the bat, and though he's not able to connect bat with ball just yet, he likes banging the floor with the bat.

4. Even tough he can't hit the baseball with the bat, he likes pushing the ball and hearing the clicking noise.

5. It definitely helped with hand-eye coordination as he learned to drop the ball into the hoop or put it in the hole. It also has some cause and effect, because now he drops the ball in and knows where to look for it.

4. Unlike the roll-a-rounds toys, which we generally like, the basketballs are just the right size for him to pick up with one hand.

Here's what's not great:
1. It's fairly large, but not heavy/stable enough for him to pull himself up on or rely on for standing (now that he can). He's almost pulled it over several times trying this.

2. It was really hard to put together, even though there are no screws, etc. It basically "snapped" together, but me, my husband and his best friend all had to fight to get the pieces in place.

3. Sometimes the basketball doesn't push the lever all the way in to register a basket. While my son can't count and doesn't know that the score hasn't updated, he likes the sound, so I end up hitting it with my hand, which he has now started to copy.

Overall I give this 4 stars. He's been enjoying it for almost 3 months now, and I anticipate it will continue to be one of his favorite toys.

Like other reviewers, we got this toy as a gift. My son was only 6 months old, so we thought we'd have to wait a while for him to be able to play with it. He started playing with it right away. He'll play with it for hours. Yes, the football IS just a rattle that spins in the goalposts, but there's not much other than that that can be SAFELY done with a football. My 2-year-old daughter uses the baseball and bat part more than my son and it's really teaching her some baseball skills. As for it's size, look at the customer images. Someone placed a picture of their toddler seated playing with it. As you can see, it's roughly two feet tall. It's meant for infants and toddlers (NOT KIDS). If you want one of these for older kids, there's a great one on the market adjustable up to almost five feet.

My son got this for Christmas, even though he wasn't quite 9 months old. He liked it in the beginning and played with it, but now (at 12 months) all I do is listen to the crowd cheer. If he can't find a basketball, he'll put anything that will fit into the basket. The football used to be our favorite, but now it's less so. My son is trying to hit the baseball with the bat and lights up every time, though only once has he been able to make the ball move. I have had no problems with this and I thought it was fairly easy to assemble by myself. I've even given this as a gift to others because my son loves it so much. I especially love that it has 2 sound levels, so outside it can be louder and in return, it can be slightly quiter inside.

My daughter loved this toy, but it broke in just a few weeks. We changed the battery, tried different brands of batteries, and it still will not work. She is crushed. I called the number on the back and they said I have to send the piano with a note and they will send a replacement in 4-6 weeks. I don't even want another one - it is an absolute piece of junk. Also - way too many Christmas Carols. They couldn't find any other songs to include?

My 20-month-old son loves this toy. It's very durable and provides a lot of interactive opportunities. BUT what neither the online product description nor the packaging tells you is that about one-third of the 19 "demo songs" are Christmas carol melodies! With all the children's songs in the world, I cannot understand why Little Tikes didn't include a broader selection. Since small children play the same thing over and over and over again, be prepared for Christmas tunes year-round with this toy!

My daughter received this piano for her 2nd birthday in November 2005. She absolutely loved it. She played with it every day, that is, until Christmas brought her new toys. After the excitement of the new toys wore down she grabbed the piano to play with it, just to find out it didn't work! We replaced the batteries, but still nothing. I contacted Little Tykes. The response was "sorry we didn't manufacture it". I still plan on contacting the manufacturer. I know it was inexpensive, but I expected much more use from it. I am still thinking of purchasing another to try because my daughter liked it so much. And, yes, the volume starts out way too loud.

I too was duped by the Little Tikes name into thinking that this toy would be durable. But from now on I will only trust Little Tikes stuff that's non-electronic. I think the design of the plastic casing is good, but the wiring is faulty. On our set, not only was there zero reception, but the "morse code" beeping button did not work on one of them. I wanted to add my review so that the number of one-stars on this product continues to increase.

I agree with all the other reviews. My children received them as a gift. Wish I would not have thrown out the package, cause they would be going right back to the store. What a terrible probuct Little Tikes made this time around. They absoulutely do not work. No reception and you can't hear anyone or even try to talk. Please don't waste your money, these are worthless toys.
Unfortunately, they do not offer an option of not putting in any stars, so I had to put one star in each category even though there is nothing to want on this product.

I have come to trust most anything that says Little Tykes. Durable, reliable, researched, but am totally disappointed in this purchase. The kids enjoyed the buttons and making the morse code come through on the walkie talkies, however they were not able to get a good signal in any way to hear each other talk. Do not waste your money. Give them two cups with a string and they will learn more.
