My six year-old received this for his birthday and hasn't given it a second glance. But he was the same with Lincoln Logs a while back and now loves them. So I haven't given up hope yet.

Brilliant. Simple, easy to use creatively, encourages practice with spatial relations and engineering.. My (currently four year old) son plays with his Tinker Toys all the time. He never seems to get sick of these!

When shopping for xmas presents I wanted to buy a "building" set and I was recommended that Tinkertoys were very popular in the USA - I am a brit so never really knew what this toy was.

Not wanting to do lego's yet, but wanting something better than megablocks as we had outgrown them alreadythought what the heck and bought it a box of Tinker Toys for my son.

I can honestly say it was the best [...] we spent that year. He has played with this by himself, or with his dad or/and me, who have built all the toys on the box ! Its a really fun toy.

and the large box is enought btw to build things, and also, just enough pieces that they dont get lost and will get picked up each time.

Also great size pieces as younger than 3 cant swallow anything, but intriguing enough for the older kiddies to build with :}

I bought this toy at Toys R Us because it was on clearance for $7 (normally $15). I like the Peek-a-Blocks, and this one being so cheap, seemed like a good deal.

Good points: it comes with four blocks (although by far not the most entertaining of the Peek-a-Blocks sets) and the music is soft and plays a very pleasant tune; it stores nicely, all 4 blocks fit inside and the unit is compact.

Bad points: it is not very entertaining; my 6-month-old barely looks at it compared to her other toys

This is an okay toy for $7. For $15, there are much better toys out there.

My daughter got this for her birthday. She doesn't even play with the fish. She likes the blocks, though, so we've put them in her other block toy and she plays with them.

The blocks are too big for the fish and they don't come out easily. It's just not a fun toy.

It was just what she wanted. It is very nice and is described very well. She is 10 months old and enjoys it very much.

My daughter got this music set for her birthday when she turned 3. She will now be 4 in a couple months, and she still gets the music set out every couple days and plays with it, usually declaring loudly that it's "music time". My only complaint is with the moroccas - they are not exactly kid proof for preschoolers to work with. My daughter banged them together a few times, which resulted in the one breaking altogether. The other one, although still usable, has a small crack in it. I think hard plastic moroccas would be better - or thicker wooden ones as used in public school music classes.

I got this for my son for his 3rd birthday. He absolutely loves it. All of the instruments are so easy to play and they are really well made. I also like having a box to store the instruments in when he is not using them. This was his favorite toy out of all of his birthday presants.

The deluxe band-in-a-box set is by far the greatest... Although hope you have enough people available because everyone has their own instrument... We had a blast with this set, the kids love it, and even the adults had some good laughs.. very sturdy and holds up against the worst wear and tear.. Highly recommend for your young child...

You might find the same product locally in some stores for the same price so the shipping and handling is an over head .

These blocks are definitely NOT the classic blocks I had expected. "Deluxe" is not a word I would use to characterize them. They are quite small and the quality is not as good as I had expected.

I got these blocks quite a while ago, proud of myself for finding these "good old blocks". They SUCK!! The paint was peeling off the first time it got a little saliva on it! The wood itself is very soft and easily destroyed and splintery!! Stay away from the Old Fashion Type Blocks!!!!!

we have hardwood floors so i bought this together with Playzone. i'm pleased with these mats --these made it safe for the frequent falls my baby went through when he was learning to crawl and pull himself up. now i put these mats beside his bed, softening his occasional 'dreamy falling off' his bed.

These play mats are great for outdoors. I bought several packs and put my daughters play house, slide, sandbox and etc on them. You can hose them off. We leave them out all year long, and they held up great through the winter. They don't ever look worn. I just went and bought more to extend the play area.

These playmats are fantastic. They have cushion and yet are sturdy and durable. My son chews these mats like candy and yet they have kept their shape. They are great for little new crawlers that need alittle padding and resistance for their little knees. [...]

Just a warning to new parents thinking of playmats. We have three sets (large family) and these are our favorite by far. All the other sets we have have shapes and numbers in them that come out. It is a huge pain when our son plays w/ these mats because you end up on your knee's trying to find the missing pieces all the time. Save your back, money, and time and just buy whole pieces without all the fancy decor (letters,numbers,animals, elct.) that comes out, they just end up missing or on the other side of the room out of the mat for you to pick up and figure out where it goes in the mat. Also the pieces get old and when you move the mat around all the pieces fall out everywhere, everytime you move it you have to put the whole puzzle back together.

I read the reviews. Some people did not like the toy, but most did. Another model someone said was crap! But, I am glad this toy is coming. I will write another review once it gets here. Everyone needs to read all of the reviews. Or you put yourself at risk! Plus I want to protect my money from my evil older brothers.

My grandson really likes this ATM machine bank. He likes to play with money and have it talk to him.

This toy is worth the money because it works really good and is very durable. It is not only fun for kids, but it is educational. It teaches kids the value of money.It is also easy to use. I lost the card that came in the box but it still works. You can use any card to turn it on. If you are someone who would like to save money in a way that is both fun and safe, buy this ASAP!

my daughters grandmother purchased this as a christmas gift, and since then my daughter has only played with this house a number of times, I thought she would play with it more but she doesn't, this is a very cute house and there is nothing wrong with it or to complain about, I like the real sounds it makes it just doesn't seem to hold her attention and she is now 3.

My one year old daughter got this toy for her first birthday and she loves it. Even her three year old sister plays with her and they share and play together.

We got the Sweet Sounds Home along with the Playground for our daughter when she was about 18 months. This was a good age as she was just starting to do some "pretend play". She is nearly two now and still plays with it every day. The people are the perfect size for her little hands and are extremely durable. Every room has fun and familiar sounds -- telephone ringing, computer typing, washing machine, toilet flush and kids playing. I have found this to be a great toy to foster our daughter's imagination because it is very relatable to her little world. She loves the baby most of all and especially loves hearing her say "Mama Mama". She loves putting the baby and the Mommy and Daddy to bed every night before she goes to bed. She also likes to hear the toilet flush and to put the baby in the bath tub. Fisher-Price has built a lot of small details into this toy that we always seem to be discovering new things -- a kite on the side of the house, a dog on the porch, orange juice in the refrigerator, etc. This is a great toy for a toddler because it is unbreakable, easy to clean and with a little girl's imagination, offers limitless play options.

My two kids, a girl (6 yrs old) and a baby boy (just turned 1), really liked it at first but they lost their interest in about an hour of using it. They will still play with it if their friends are over but not alone (which was one of my main interests in this item... for them to entertain themselves alone). Overall, not bad but not great.

I purchased this product for my 1-yr old daughter's birthday because she loves to crawl under and through anything. She loves this, too. My 3 sons (3, 7, 12) love it, too, even though the 7 and 12 are a little too big. Set up was very easy, although I have not tried to take it down. It is a little flimsy at the connection points, but not enough that I wouldn't recommend it. I would get more pieces to connect if I had a larger space!

My kids 4 and 6 both love this, I bought it for my 4 year olds birthday. I really liked the fact that it folded flat and was easy to store, however, my husband and I have yet to figure that out!

This was an amazing deal and my grandaughter loves this line of products. I hope to find more of these deals in the future with Amazon.

Got this set for $10, amazing! The theater alone costs $20 in stores. It does not come in a colored package with viewable window to see the toy like most toys; it arrives in a plain white cardboard box with all the pieces inside individually wrapped in plastic. So it's not a store shelf kind of item, but it's the exact same toys!
Great for any playdate this summer for your daughter to share with a friend (stay inside from this heat!)

I bought this as a gift, but had to open it up and check to see if everything was ok. I got so excited by the quality and all the details that I had to unwrap all the items and set them up. What fun this will be for girls. I loved playing with dolls when I was a kid and would have loved this. I always wanted a doll house and this would have filled the bill. I can't imagine this not lighting up the eyes of a little girl.
