    *ALMOST* Perfect
The Thunder Fury is a great set. It is very poseable, has a gigantic weapon, and a cool poseable knife-type-thing. However, the light cable sometimes gets in the way of the gun; and the entire set is top heavy, almost 3 inchis thich on the torso section. It has a gattling gun on the chest, but if you try and rotate it, seventy-five percent of the time a piece will fall off. But these are minor problems. It is still an overall great set, making for a 4/5.

    the best lego set evea!!!!!!!!!!!!

        A big hit at Christmas!
My son loved this Bionicle. It does fall apart easier than the $9 ones but it had armour and features the cheaper ones didn't have. A must have if your kids like Bionicle. About the same size as the other ones - not sure why it is so much more expensive though !

Younger kids will enjoy this toy, too!
My son is only 4 and a half. Of course he needs a lot of help to build this toy, but we enjoy doing it together. This particular model took me almost 90 minutes to build. When it is finished it is strong enough to play with it and a young kid can easily put it back together if a limb falls apart. I think it is very original and entertaining for both of us.

        Toa Hordika's only hope!
Keetongu is my second favorite 2005 set! he is incledibly posable! Buy this set and it will imediately be your favorite!

          Fear The Green Ones
I haven't owned a decent Lego set in years. But with the growing popularity of the Bionicle line, I decided to pick this one up (for some reason, I've always liked the green ones). Speaking of which, for reasons that are beyond me, this Visorak (along with the Suukorak) is priced slightly higher than the others, even when they're on sale. Still, a bargin's a bargin, right?

On to the review. I was able to build my Keelerak with no problem, in less than a half hour. When I was done, it left out 2 spare parts that you don't really need, and an extra rubber band. Also, the head is prone to flipping over. But by pressing down on it, you can keep the head in place and close the Keelerak's pincers.

Being my first Lego set with legs and joints, I love the way you can pose this thing. Plus, you can fold the legs under the body and store the toy in its canister, nice! But the parts holding the front legs together are kinda loose. The hind legs are better.

Finally, the Bionicles' coolest feature is also where my biggest problem with the toy lies. It's understandable, since the spinner launcher is made up of just 3 parts. The spinners spin across the floor one minute and fly up a short distance the next. I guess this takes some practice. On the plus side, you can shoot the spinners at a longer distance by raising the head.

While it didn't exceed all my expectations, this is a great toy for Lego fans, young and old. I just might get another Visorak to crawl around my house.

          The second BEST VISORAK!!!!!
It has a very cool color and nice venom pinchers.Makes a great gift!

Please don't overlook these wonderful toys for your child!
We have resisted buying these because they seemed so cheap...also the usual question we parents always ask ourselves..."What are they going to do with them?"

Our son received his first bionicle from a friend on his ninth birthday...it was cleverly the "bow" on a birthday present. I now regret overlooking this wonderful line of "lego's" for so long! My boys love these! They have the best time building them and an even better time playing with them.

They are priced reasonably so you can always pick-up one as a treat during trips out "shopping". If you encourage your children to "save-up" for some of their "wants", the cost of these is low enough that it doesn't take them months and months to realize their goal.

Please do not make the same mistake I made and misjudge these toys. You will be denying your child a great experience.
Although the manufacturer suggests ages 7 and up, I do not feel a child younger than 8 or 9 would be able to indendently put this toy together. My 7 year old needs some help putting these together, but he loves to try all by himself. That is the point of Lego's, to construct and play. The primary benefit, in my opinion, is the satisfaction of "doing it" yourself!

A definate A+ for our boys!

            Suukorahk, A kids Review
I finally got my hands on a Visorak yesterday. It is SUUKORAHK.

Can: The bubble isn't too easy to get off but keeps your Rhotuka safer than the Hordika cans keep them! The bottom is just a regular hordika an but it's in black. 10/10

Posability: Nice. It's just what I expected. 10/10

Pieces: These are bringing about the end of the cloneing sets. Nw with a variety of ddifferent legs, colors, heads etc. 10/10

Building: It's a bit more complicated than the Hordika but easy. The forelegs wobble a bit. Rubber band is too hard. 8/10

Instructions: Easy to follow and in the back, all of this years sets! 10/10

Playability: Pose, launch a spinner do whatever! The mandibles are cool. He is a little hard to pose. 8/10
            Overall:
            99/100!

            Lego Dino Attack
I bought this Lego set for my nephew for Christmas. We worked on it Christmas eve and Christmas day. It kept both of us busy!

            Lego never disappoints
Lego toys continue to be consistant winners with kids. This model was easily assembled and holds up pretty well in play except perhaps for the huge propeller that has a tendancy to get knocked off.

Great attack helicopter, with some nice features
Dino Attack! Mutant dinosaurs are on the rampage, and a crack team of heroes with high-tech weapons has to stop them from wrecking the city. This set builds a massive attack helicopter that is armed to the teeth, and a T-Rex and pterodactyl for our heroes to fight.

The T-Rex here is a bit underwhelming. He's big, he goes together easily, he has the minimum required articulation for an "action figure" (arms and legs move, head moves, jaw opens), a button on his head lights up his eyes and tongue with a menacing red glow. So far so good, I guess. But if we're gonna go as far as to make this special action figure, why not give him some more detail? He's got a smooth, untextured, undetailed body. While this does fit in with the Lego motif, it's not as cool as the Imaginext T-Rex. Speaking of which, if you're looking for cool dinosaur action figures, look no further than Fisher Price's Imaginext brand. They've got the good stuff.

Our Lego T-Rex looks appropriately menacing and evil, and he towers over our heroes, standing a couple inches under a foot tall. He might as well be Godzilla, except he's not as cool as Godzilla. Our Lego pterodactyl is equally mediocre, with posable claws, opening jaw, and stiff wings. Would've been nicer if his wings could flap.

Our good guys have a two-foot long attack helicopter with three cockpits, a small command center, retractable landing gears, spinning side guns, pivoting rear guns, a spring-loaded missile launcher, spinning rotors, and a boom crane with hook that can be raised and lowered (it can also be used as a zip-line, offering our heroic dinosaur fighters a quick way to get to the ground if they need to). This impressive helicopter brings to mind older Lego spaceships from ten years ago (or more), which were usually packed with inventive features, moving parts, and cool stuff.

The cockpits can be easily removed so that we can sit our pilots at the controls, and the canopies are easily snapped back into place. The rear cockpit has a pair of pivoting guns (nice touch!). Filling up the middle of the craft is a small command center, where some transparent panels are used to create the effect of a holographic radar screen (another nice touch). There are a lot of decals for the flight controls, radar screens, and various decorations on the outside that spruce up the look of the craft.

This helicopter is big! About two feet long. I'm not sure how easily it can be played with because it's so big. Just don't drop it. The durability here is very good. Much better than I was expecting from a large, unwieldy model. Solid design, but probably not meant for rough play. Still, there aren't any small parts that are likely to fall off during play (or even during construction, for that matter).

The best thing about this model is building it. Over 600 pieces, a nice mixture of regular Lego parts and Technic parts. Building this thing from the ground up was a real treat. A lengthy building project with numerous inventive ways that parts are used and fit together to create a great-looking model. Colors are mostly dark red, beige, dark gray, and black, with just a bit of gray and light green here and there. As mentioned, there are many decorative decals, and none of them link two pieces together. On the whole, this model is expertly designed. It's a real treat to see something this nice. It definitely stands out as one of the better-designed Lego models of recent years.

All four of our heroic dinosaur fighters are here, and two of them get pilot helmets with nice visors. These guys aren't quite as charismatic as the Alpha Team agents and Knights Kingdom guys. The Dino Attack series is sort of like Alpha Team. It has a similar feel to it and a similar cast of characters, although it's not quite as charismatic on the whole.

This set is Lego at their very best, and I'm pleased to give it a big thumbs up. Forget about the mediocre T-Rex and pterodactyl. Godzilla could take both of 'em without breaking a sweat. The helicopter was well worth the price of admission. I had a great time assembling it and playing around with it. Solid fun, and then some.
