A great addition to my son's Lego Star Wars collection. My son and I had fun putting this together, and he enjoys playing with it. He was looking for Darth Vader's ship, but as that is quite hard to find, this was a good stand-in. All of the Legos teach kids how to follow step-by-step directions, and my son has enjoyed building many Star Wars models.

Don't be fooled. This is one of the most fragile sets ever.Well it's me again, "Chase the Harsh Critic." I rarely give great reviews. Sometimes I do, don't get me wrong. I love doing a Great Review for a GREAT Set! This isn't one of those...
This set looks awesome. Okay, we understand ech other. This set is FRAGILE. I picked it up once and the bottom flew right off. This is definately a display set. Too much play and it breaks. I need alot of plates on the bottom to toughen it up. The green bars in the guns, I don't like those. There is also a "laser blaster" that uses a lever which doesn't work. The bridge is very small. You can't even fit two figures in it at once. The interior is pretty cool. I really like all of the cool stuff they put in there.
There are two Stormies, Vader, a mouse droid, an awesome looking black R2-D5, an imperial officer, and Grand Moff Tarkin plus Two Royal Guards (???). Seriously, two royal guards? G. Moff I understand is for playability and all, but two royal guards? I'm sure many people, inlcuding kids and myself, would have rather had 4 stormies to build up an army. The guards seem useless without the Emperor...
There you have it. Yes, I did type this in a hurry. The UCS ISD is greater than this, but hey this is minifig scale. I honestly don't think this is a bad set. Just average. I don't know if you want to shell out $100 for this though. 3 stars!

A must for Star Wars and Lego fans. This set is incredible. So much detail that a collector would love it and huge amounts of mindless fun for everyone. This set requires lots of time ( took me 6 hours but I'm a slow builder ) and is well worth some frustartion you go through. The bags are numbered so after one part is complete you go onto another bag so looking for that one tiny piece isn't that hard. Another added bonus is the 9 minifigures you get which well adds some force to your Imperial army. The only downfall to this set is that it is fragile at some points. The bottom of the ship is fragile, if your grasping it from there and then lifting it, well it breaks. So what I did, is added some more pieces to the bottom to make it more durable. Over all the biggest and greatest Lego set I ever built. HAVE FUN!!!
This would make The Emperor proud!!!!I bought this set just a few days ago and I must say that while it does seem pricey, it is completely worth every penny. The amount of detail inside this fantastic set is just mind-bogging and pure genius. It took me 4 hours to build this model and that was with no breaks!!! The mini-figure selection is unique and quite generous; the coolest feature inside the ship is that you can put Darth Vader inside his meditation chamber and put his helmet on when being interrupted by Imperial minions. I feel that this set is a worthy addition to anyone's Star Wars collection, and truly gives the builder a sense of accomplishment once completed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!

It's nearly impossible to keep togetherI've built this castle on a table and it still falls apart. It's really cool looking, but my stepson who is 7 would never be able to build it and keep it together. I'm 35 and I can't get it to snap together half of the time. It's either the spacing of the pegs or the fact that they are too short. The towers and all snap together ok, but trying to get everything to adhere to the base is nearly impossible. If it's this frustrating for an adult, how can a child build it? I'm very disappointed in the Mega Bloks. Lego would never have this problem. I've played with Legos for over 30 years and never had construction issues like this. It's really neat looking, I have to give them that. Too bad it's so hard to play with.
3 Hours of working to put this together and it barely holds. This is a very impressive looking castle. The battering ram is great fun and the whole thing is beautiful. I would be a great addition to the Oduku Armory. However, the artists who designed it were let down by the engineers who figured out how to make it work.
The pieces barely snap into place if at all. My son was looking forward to this for days. I consider it unfair that they put so little work into the construction design. If this were to be put together and sit on a shelf to look at it would be difficult.
Instead, it is very upsetting for both parent and child. I've found similar issues with other MegaBloks toys. For all of thier good points (beautiful design, background story), they seem to have lost sight of the point.
Toys are to play with.

New schtick, still cool...but not perfect...Okay, I guess you can consider this the headlining piece of the Mega Bloks Dragons METAL AGES line. Aside from being the most expensive, it's also the largest.
Overall, the design asthetic of METAL AGES seems to be a generic "oriental" theme. It combines elements or Chinese, Japanese, and even Mongolian art and design...at least in my opinion. It's great to see something other than the usual European derived stuff we've seen in the past (not that they weren't cool too). The warriors are 70% new...except for the legs. The weapons are the coolest yet. They range from axes, swords, decorative crossbows, to weird...uh...things. They kinda remind me of Battle Beast weapons (if you're a fan of 1980's toys). Now on to this actual set...
As soon as I saw this, I wanted it- no, needed it! It looks so cool. Plus the dragon has a totally new look too. As usual, this set can be kind of hard to assemble; I'll agree. Alot of Mega Bloks sets are tough, for some reason. The top layer, which contains the main play area, and most decorative elements...is built in four major sections to be later attahed to the bottom layer. I found the top layer pretty easy to build without hang-ups, but the bottom- UGH! I highly recommend building this on site...whether you're playin' or displayin'...and on a flat surface. I've often ignorantly tried to build some Dragons sets on my rug, and failed. The main problem is the base is built in section, not one piece, and is loosely held together by a few crummy peg blocks. Despite this set back, I got my set together fine, but newbies might wanna invest in some patience before attempting large sets like this.
The bottom layer utilizes the quick-build style pieces like the large Fire & Ice Dragon Mountain set. The castle wall pieces are all new! The relief sculpture near the doors is new as well, and very cool. The doors are pretty darn neat and have magnets in 'em to keep them shut. Above the gates is a section housing a decorative battering ram. Release the lever in the middle and it busts the doors down, knocking out any enemies in it's path. However...I thought battering rams were used to break INTO castles? Eh, still neat though. Surrounding that doorway piece are four other sections. To the right, are a decorative, throne-like section and another room with a piece of crystal atop it. A stone spiral staircase leads to this area from behind. To the left are a catapult area, and another decorative tower with torches. Not bad, but mostly decorative...no major gimmicks or action features. You also get a rolling seige tower with hinged gang plank, and a nice little wheeled cannon with dragon motif. The dragon is neat, and all new as well. In trying to keep with that oriental theme, the dragon is snakelike and looong! It still had bat-like wings though. Except for the hinged jaw, the body has only bendy wire articulation, as well as some small pieces of removeable armor. The tail has a great grappling claw perfect for hooking in victims! You's think the dragon would be impossible to dispaly, but being semi-stiff, he actually props up nicely amidst the castle walls. The extra brick column can be used to help keep him up as well (hey, you gotta use that leftover piece for something). The figures are surprisingly few, but still awesome. The Odaku are great, as I stated before. The Norvagen forces get a color change as well as new torsos...complete with double pegs for weapon storage (I assume).
The best parts of this toy are the new design detail and theme. I love the new dragon and warriors. There's lots of room for custom creations...especially when combined with other sets.
The only bad things are the usual problem of sturdy construction and lack of internal castle detail (nothing going on 'round back). The biggest specific problem is lack of figures! Overall, METAL AGES suffers from a severe lack of armies. True, you can buy multiple sets or troop builder packs, but who wants to spend more money?
On the whole this set is quite awesome to behold, but still needs a bit of work. Recommended for your Mega Bloks kingdom!

great building toythe whole Kid K'nex sets are great! My 5 year old son loves building "machines" with these sets, he has been building with these for a couple of years and he still loves them...a must for any young builder!
Another type of Lego , an open-ended toy! This is the first Kid K'Nex toy that we bought for our 3 1/2-year-old boy and he loved it. The parts are big enough for the preschooler's hands and very easy to snap together. First he made many different designs by himself and was very proud of it. After a month, he started trying the designs in the design booklet. I was surprised to see that he was able to duplicate the models, though I prefer that he makes his own designs which he still does. I like the flexible parts and wish there were more than 2. Overall, I'm very happy with this toy.

My [...] loves it.My son loves Star Wars and Lego so these sets are perfect for him. The design is great and the sets help him to learn how to foolow directions. He's been building on his own for over a year now and loves to take apart and rebuild any Lego set on a rainy day. He used to get frustrated that they sets fell apart but has learned to handle them so that they are generally pretty sturdy.
The good benifets This toy was worth buying! It seems fun to me since I play with legos. I`ve been waiting for a toy like this! If I were you I would buy it
Awesome Ship!!!I have always loved B-Wings and have told myself that one day I would get one. These new releases caught my eye and so I spent my own money to get one. I was not disappointed. The B-Wing is AWESOME!!! It copies the design and features from the fighter in the movie very carefully, so it's a good-looking model Actually, the B-Wing in the movie is pretty ugly, and this copies the ship from the movie, but I've played enough video games to respect its firepower. I guess it doesn't look too bad. It's a nice Lego, but nothing is perfect. Here are the pros and cons.
PROS:
At a good 15 inches tall, this thing is MONSTER!
It looks really neat
The service tower is a nice thing to have for realistic play
With the tower as a display stand, this thing looks cool in your bedroom
For a huge fighter, it's actually easy to play with
This thing would probably rock in the Star Wars ship battles kids like me have with its 7 guns.
Not too hard to build
CONS:
Kind of expensive
It doesn't break often, but when it does, it's tough to repair
It's not too hard to build, but it does take a while
It doesn't balance too well on the service tower/display stand because it's so heavy. Don't touch it though and you'll be fine
The Ten Numb minifigure doesn't look too good in my opinion
You have to open the S-foils manually. You think Lego would have the little gear-wheel to open it.
Missiles have zip range, but Lego never really came through in the missile department anyway
Engines look a bit tiny compared to the rest of the model
The mechanic minifigure(whichever one you choose to use, I like to use the Ten Numb minifigure)doesn't have a lot of room to stand on
The pilot minifigure is kind of hard to fit in
Overall, most of the flaws are tiny and it's a really cool ship worth the $35.

Thomas Load and Carry Train Set
Made by Lego
- 2-5
Amazon base price: $29.99
Average review score:

Not for younger kidsI got this toy for my 18 month old, who loves trains and blocks. However, I found, much to my chagrin, that she insisted on disassembling the various lego items (light, tunnel, station, trains....). So, we could never really put the set together for more than 5 minutes. Assembling the elements also required following the directions, so it wasn't really fun for her to play with. I think this would be a great toy for a slightly older child, and in fact we gave ours to a friend who is just over 2.
Worth the price, needs more legosThis lego set is great for toddlers/preschoolers. Considering the high price of Thomas the train toys, I think this is actually worth its price. We got it for our 3-yr-old son who loves Thomas and loves playing with the duplo legos. We also got the large box of duplo legos, which was really necessary to give him a chance to really get creative. He makes up some interesting trains, but I think it's only because he has so many legos to work with. So if this is your child's only duplo legos, you might not be as satisfied with the 'playing' results unless you purchase a small box of duplos to go with it.
Love this toyI purchased this Thomas Lego set for my four year old grandson, who is a Thomas the Train fanatic. He loves it and carries it with him everywhere he goes. It is easy for him to put together and discovering new ways to organize it is challanging for his mind. It's also small enough for him to carry in his back pack and set-up in a corner wherever he goes. Thanks

General Grievous¿ Chase
Made by Lego

Not worth it,,,*Sighs* In my opinion, most of the Episode 3 sets haven't been spectacular. This set is one of them.
This set features Obi-Wan and General Grievous with their own vehicles that corresponds with the movie. General Grievious's Wheel Bike is pretty cool, yet it is mainly made out of Technic parts. Its not worth it alone for $[...] so lets move on to Obi-Wan's.
The Boga that comes with it, is well, plain. The head is alright but the body is sorta bleh. Not worth $[...] so lets move onto the figures.
Obi-wan is what you would expect. But he's welcome, we couldn't have the chase without him huh? General Grievous has a nice torso that is pretty useful in making your own designs. But his legs make the body unstable so he usually falls over. The lightsabers are grey but chrome is a little expensive to produce so it's understandable (5 lightsabers with this set).
Overall, I'm disappointed in this set. It was a cool idea but it lacked many things and the price per parts ratio wasn't good (but new things were added like General Grievous). I think the only reason to get this set is for General Grievous. It would have been a lot better with a clone(s) or battledroid(s).

Star Wars Episode III Genreal Grievous Chase is great! My 10 year old son is the person that received the Star Wars Episode III General Grievous Chase lego toy. He had saved up his allowance to purchase it and we were very pleased with the toy! He was able to follow the directions by himself, it did take quite awhile to put together, but he did it all in one day. He is very pleased with the toy. I was nervous with how expensive it was, but it is a larger toy and it does a few things. It was worth the money and we were very pleased all the way around, including the fact that it arrived before we anticipated it to.
ITS THE BOMB BABY!!!!!!!! I got this Lego set for my brother for Christmas. HE LOVED IT. It wasnt very hard to build it (which is a good thing in some ways). He had a lot of fun building it, and I, Myself sat down and played with it with all of his other lego Star Wars sets, (Clone turbo tank, wookie catamaren, Wookie Attack, Mustafar playset, Space battle (Obi-Wan's and Anakin's Starfighter), Arc fighter, AT-RT, Tri fighter, V-wing, X-wing, B-wing, A-wing.....etc) Sorry about that not to be a braggart. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS TOY!!!!!! ITS THE BOMB

DisappointedThis product did not have a very clear description. I was disappointed when I received it as the blocks are very small and not at all what I expected. I am confident that Brio makes a quality product, but the product description should include measurements and describe the size of the blocks better.
Great toy!We bought these blocks for our two year old son because he liked stacking his legos so much. The legos and megablocks have been put in the closet since he opened these at Christmas. Anyone with a toddler knows how hard it is to keep them focused on any one thing for very long. Our son will play with these blocks for 20 minutes straight without stopping! He loves to build all of his fisher-price alphabet animals a house and then knock it down to build a house for the next lucky animial. These blocks are the first thing he goes for in his playroom everyday. I love to sit and watch him as he analyzes each piece and decides which would be the best to build his house with. It's great for hand/eye coordination and its got to be good for self-esteem and imagination.
Wonderful set of blocksMy daughter loves stacking these blocks on top of each other. She has learnt to stack them when she was a little over a year. This is a versatile toy which can be fun for many years. I saw people complaining that the blocks were small, but this is just the size such small kids can easily manipulate, I think. I highly recommend!
