I Threw my imaginext set in the garbage too!
I purchase a couple of imaginext castle sets...only to be too frustrated putting them together and like the other reviewers claim imaginext falls apart very easily. My sets were in a scrambled pile of pieces just collecting dust in my son's room. I checked ebay for selling a used set but they had no resale value so I just threw the imaginext sets in the trash. Now I have more space.

Great Toy!
This is a great toy for my 6 yr old nephew. I saw him and a friend playing with this and they were having a ball. I need to get more sets to go along with it! Also, it is of great size!

you get what you pay for
My four year old loves it, but I, on the other hand, am tired of continually putting it back together. The hand falls off when you look at it, but hey, it was cheap...

bob-the-builder and legos
my 2-year-old loves bob and loves legos...he likes making the caravan and travis. the other pieces he honestly treats as lego pieces - not really creating anything b-the-b specific. but legos are always a great gift!

The best out of the Bob sets, even though it ain't the biggest.
This is the 2nd biggest set in the Duplo Bob the Builder series, but it seems to be the most pleasing playwise, as it comes with a building with opening windows and door, table and chairs, Bob, his cat, and Travis. It also comes with a trailer to put the house on, and it can be towed by Travis. While the Scoop and Lofty set has two vehicles in it, the buildings do not build up to much of anything, so you would just end up having more loose blocks around the house (that big set has 80+ pieces). I couldn't justify spending the extra money on it either. I recommend this one as the best in the series.

My son loves these sets, but he also has the Thomas Duplos and tends to spend more time playing with those.

Bob Legos
This is a great lego set. My 1 1/2 year old son loves them. He crashes the truck and Caravan all the time and they never break. He really likes the Bob and cat that come with it. These are also the right size to use with the Bob click brick sets. This truck fits in to the parking thing with the talking click brick trucks.

I've been amazed
at what my son can do with these. He is 7. He got them for his birthday and he LOVES them. He will sit for hours with them or his legos. I bought the ones for his birthday as an addtion to the ones I bought him for Christmas. He can follow themore difficult directions and is creating things on his own now that are quite elaborate. I think it really helps with skills and with learning about how things work. I was worried with the small pieces but the tubs make them easy to put away and will be buying more in the future.

My boys love K'NEX
My twin boys are 5 and can hardly sit still. That is unless they are playing with their K'NEX. K'NEX building pieces are easy to play with, and unlike other building toys, almost anyone can come up with something fun to create. My only regret is that I didn't buy the bigger tub the first time!

LEGO Bob the Builder: Muck's Recycling Set
Made by Lego

Some pieces are difficult to put together!!
My 3 year old son has difficulty attaching the arms and excavating portion of muck as it requires more *strength*.The box says it is for kids 2-5 .Otherwise it is quite durable but somehow he doesn't get satisfaction of building muck on his own.

    Perfect for the builder
My son just turned 2. He loves Bob the Builder and all the machines. Once he was shown how to construct muck, he found it easy to duplicate. He has no desire to build the recycle bins. He actually has 2 other Bob the Builder lego sets, Travis and Bob's Mobile Caravan and Benny's Set. He loves them all!

A fun entry in the Bob Duplo series for a good price.
You get a decent size vehicle in Muck and you get two recycling containers and a chute to build, so the play value for the price is excellent. I think this is the second best set in the Bob line, after the Travis Caravan set.

    satisfied lego lover
This was an excellent and challenging project to assemble. Keeping the spectatoros in the stands can be tricky but we enjoyed building and playing very much. Just the latest edition to our extensive HP Lego collection.

It's going to be the best.
I'm getting the set for Christmas, along with all the other one's, I just saw the movie, and I'm 13 too, and I'm a girl. I've collected the HP legos for a long time, and I can't wait in till Christmas, there's only one thing I wish they would have made with these legos, a Cedric Diggory, he's sooooo cute!!!!!!

      Fun, Durable, and Imaginative
I actually purchased this because it was on a huge sale, not expecting much, but boy was I surprised. My 2 year old saw it with other toys in the amazon box, and immediately asked that I open this one. I agreed, and we opened it up. There are a surprising amount of pieces. The two of us played with it for close to an hour without getting bored. Then when my 8 year old got home from school the 2 of them spent another 1/2 hour building with it. The biggest surprise, this weekend my husband got down on the floor and spent close to an hour building robots and creatures and towers with my 2 year old with just this set (I can't remember the last time he's done something like that). Needless to say, it's a hit with the whole family, and has been played with every day since. A great buy!

      A must have!!!
My 22month old daughter received the Build n'Go Village from Santa, and what a wonderful toy it is. She was never very interested in Mega blocks, but loves the pop-onz. They are easy to handle, colorful and come in a case that turns into a play table. She can take them anywhere with her. There's no little pieces to lose, or that will become vaccum cleaner food!! My husband is planning on purchasing the castle blocks for her birthday. I strongly recommend this toy.

      MY SON LOVES THIS
This is a great addition to the pop onz table. My son loves to build different things out of the blocks. And they are not very pricey.

A Grand Adventure for the Whole Family!
I was initially wary of this set since it doesn't seem to include many buildable items, and I was sure the whole purpose of Mega Bloks was to build things.

Instead, once completed and positioned, the Krystal Ambush was an awe-inspiring, imagination stirring battle scene. The level of detail was superb, both on the rickety old cart and on each individual soldier in this set (it's important to note that no two have the exact same helm or face!). It seems that my wife and I are constantly finding reasons to pass the table on which these are displayed, rearranging pieces to our imagination's fancy. I can only imagine how inspiring this would be to a child. Detailed battle scenes like this one are bound to spark some powerful imaginations.

Incidentally, total construction and setup time took under an hour. Unlike some of the other sets that are focused on constructing one piece, this set is ideal for a whole family to put together. One or two people build the cart while two more build the two beasts, and others position and select weapons for the vast array of soldiers that are included. The frusteration level for building a simple set like this one would be exceptionally low for children, yet the construction and setup are detailed enough to provide a strong sense of satisfaction. Incidentally, those warhorses are adorable, and make the set worthwhile by themselves.

Quick warning: There are many small weapons that could present a choking hazard to very young children.

A few notes to the more accomplished Mega Bloks fans:

Nearly every piece in this set is recylced from previous Mega Bloks sets. The soldiers seem to be repainted (rogue) versions of several Draigar, Norvak, and Vorgan soldiers. I haven't sat down and matched face to face, but I'm reasonably sure that's what's happening here. Also, the dragon is definitely a repainted version of the dragon from the Norvak Man O'War, and the blue monster is repainted from Marauders Cliff. That doesn't really take away from the charm of this set, though. It's especially nice to have twin dragons for my Norvak army!

The pieces for the cart are also (almost?) entirely recycled from other sets (primarily the Man O'War and Mauraders Cliff), though this almost makes it more realistic. The Norvaks built all three. Maybe they've discovered interchangable parts hundreds of years before Western Civilization did.

The Krystal is the only piece I'm sure I haven't seen before, and it's quite beautiful.

Considering that both the dragon and monster have shackles with loops on them, this set should have come with more chains. That's really my only complaint at all.

Oh, and the cart chains attach to the blue monster's wrist shackles a lot more convincingly than they attach to the dragon's tail. Just run both chains through both wrist shackles and then attach them beneath the monster's chest. That allows both chains to run through the wrist shackles and to the cart with only three iron rings.

          Enjoyable
My son is 24 months and he loves playing with this toy. It gives me at least 20 minutes to relax.

          Megablocks= years of fun!
We purchased our first set of Megablocks when our son, now 7.5-yrs-old, was a toddler. He LOVED them. We have added two or three bags of Megablocks to our collection each year and now have an enormous box of them. All three of our children still play with them at least once or twice a week. My husband and I enjoy playing with them, too. We now have enough blocks that we can build an entire city in our living room.

I have heard other parents complain that their kids lost interest in Megablocks when they got older - but the same kids will come to our house and spend hours building. They just need MORE Megablocks!!! Seriously, these are a wonderful toy.

          Very Pleased
I bought the "Bigger Then Me Mega Bloks" for my little 3 year old grandson. He just loves them. He could play with them for a long time putting them together and trying to build things. Also they are teaching him the colors, sizes, and shapes.

          Catwoman
When i saw that Batman legos were out i flipped out. i LOVE lego, and i LOVE batman, it was like the perfect pairing for me. so i had to get the cheapest set since i only had like 5 bucks, and got this one. i normally hate the smaller sets but i was really satisfied with this set for one reason: catwoman. there arent that many female legos, and having catwoman who is one of my personal fav. batman characters available with this cheap set i was really happy. overall i love her bike becuz it never breaks apart. i have wood flooring, so you can imagine how many times i drop my legos while im playing and they break apart. but not her bike which is what i love. i didnt like the dragster however...but still catwoman alone makes the purchase worth it.
