The body of this figure looks great. It is also highly articulated, including at the toes and fingers.
The wings look awesome as well, even though at first it really looks like they attach backwards; they have a very swept back look to them that you cannot see in any of the pictures on the package. The wings are also extremely heavier than the figure's body, and the only way it will free stand is with the wings in the down position making a tripod stance.

The issues with the figure are in the durability. The wings do not attach strongly enough to overcome their great weight, and finally had to be permanently glued in.
The biggest problem, however, was in the "missile firing action." The missle launching is accomplished by a coiled piece of foil paper on the back of the missle bullet, which is pushed in like a spring and released with a little latch on the wings.
The two foil "springs" broke within 15 minutes. One was broken upon opening the figure, and after I spent 10 minutes fixing it, it just promptly fell apart again. The other worked a few times before the foil got out of place and kinked up.
If you're buying these for kids and not display, don't expect the missles to lauch for very long unless they will be very very careful.

I can't say enough about these toys! They are so nicely made and feel great in your hands. Small enough to carry around and big enough for little hands. Great quality, sturdy and superior look. Collectors are buying these up like hot cakes and ebay is living proof that people are willing to shell out the cash for these. Especially for the ones that are harder to find.

People have written reviews on these that no stores carry them. They have been sold out because there has been a rush on these toys even before the movie release. Hopefully as time goes on and if they keep producing them they will be easier to come by. That's what I am hoping for. I don't have all the characters yet and would like at least one of each for my son, maybe even more for collecting.

This is a nice little case to keep the Jay Jay wooden characters in. It offers them some protection as it is slightly padded. And makes the characters portable as well. The only problem is that it only holds 9 characters which is what they originally came out with. But they now have several more characters (who my son has never heard of). So you either need to purchase a second case to hold them all or be sure not to show your child the newest videos so that they are unaware of the new charactes. My son likes the Jay Jay characters even more than he does his Thomas wooden trains.

My grandson was thrilled with this purchase and loves playing with it. all transactions went smooth and I had a speedy shippment.

I got this case for my 2 2/1 yr old son for Christmas. He loves it because the Jay Jay wooden figures can be put in one special place. It seems to be well made. It has dividers in it, but they are also velcroed, so you can lower dividers to make a larger holding spot. I needed that for Big Jake to fit into the carry case.

I'm not too surprised that they are not the same care bears of the past, but they could have at least tried. These bears are smaller than the original and are made of a hard plastic. The feel of them is not enticing to my 3 yr old. Their arms and legs do not move, and I'm still trying to figure out the point of the stars on the clouds. The cloud that moves with the bear on it squeaks as it rolls and the umbrella doesn't move unless you move it with your hand. It has gone straight to the "I don't want to play with it bucket."

My 2 year old loves this and all care bear toys. I also don't quite get the point of the stars, but then, I'm not 2. She has fun fixing up her care bear village and pretending with them. We will be buying more care bear toys.

My 2-year-old received this when she was about 20 months old. She loves Care Bears, and prefers these over her stuffed Care Bears. The bears are small enough to take for travel too, but not small enough to choke on. She has 10 bears in all, and is getting the castle for Christmas! We love Care Bears!!
