small grimmi collect all ben grimm figures so it was a great addition
An excellent sculpt! This is very good figure as he has great sculpting and a incredible likeness as its pretty movie accurate. I recommend Marvel Movie/Marvel Legends/Spider-Man figures for age 10 and up due to the fragileness nature of the figures. Bottom line this is a must have figure if you are a big Fantastic Four fan! I strongly recommend this figure!

Time for quality control Mr. McFarlaneTo be brutally honest, I was really looking forward to this dragon from McFarlane's Dragons series. Mainly, it was the pose of winged flight which I found on the test shots, excellent for my needs, which is a diorama/web story. Previous McFarlane dragons, details aside, have been hit or miss. For creatures that are associated with great stories of flight, he designed very few of them in this position.
Upon opening the box, as the others, I was a bit put off by having to construct the wings. It has been my experience with McFarlane Dragons that the ones where the wings are preattached, are more durable than those not, save for the Komodo Clan, which as Series 2 goes, is the quintessential piece in the lot. You will find, that if you are looking for a great dragon with lots of poseability, the Komodo Clan series 2 is that dragon.
My issues with this larger set are specifically, that one wing. Upon really giving it the once over, I find that there are some serious design flaws in the assembly, and for a wing of that weight, it would have been better served with a plug and hole assembly, like the Komodo, than this mere slide which frankly, depending on your box, will not stay on unless glued. It is entirely not fair to the child, teen, appreciator of fantasy toys, or the collector, to assume the role of Gepetto the Toymaker when trying to fix design flaws, or worse, issues of quality control. This is not the first time that McFarlane toys have been criticized for such quality issues. Just because they possess great sculpting, details, and paint applications are no reasons for the consumer to accept nothing less than a toy, statuette, or figurine that will not break upon opening, or cannot be assembled without industrial adhesives.

Beautiful piece, but somewhat concerned about assemblyThis piece, the sixth and final figure of the second series of Todd McFarlane's Dragons, is quite remarkable and beautiful to look at. It finished off my collection (at least until the third series comes out!) and it only adds to the splendor that McFarlane intended with his dragons.
However, that being said, I only wished there was some kind of instructions to come with it. Now, I realize that there are only three or four pieces total to assemble before it's complete, and three out of the four I managed without difficulty; it's the collar around the next that's managed to confound me. There's no peg and hole to close it around the neck, nor any form of clasp. Only a forked end and another end with a hole. Now, how does that work? Let me know when you find out.
The wing to assemble may also be a hazard to younger buyers, as the claw-tips are rather hard and by no means stunted at the ends. Be careful as to how you handle it when you push it into the socket (and I do mean push--it's no easy feat), for it's possible to cut yourself on them.
Once assembled, pat yourself on the back for your effort, then be sure to set it up in such away that it doesn't lose its balance, as it's done as much several times. I've had to tweak the dragon on its pivot a few times before I found the find the right balance. But don't worry should your dragon tip over. It's pretty durable and hard to malform should it be placed in an awkward position (and don't we all just hate it when plastic malforms!). For that, it gets points.
If you're into dragons or are a Todd McFarlane fan, despite its minor shortcomings, this is a piece worthy of your mantle. It's a four out of five.

THE BEST IN SERIES 2?!Awwww, a dragon that is in flight. The Eternal dragon Boxed-set, in my opion, captures a dragon in flight beautifuly. McFarlane finally did it! The dragon has a 20" wingspan and stands, just under 10". This dragon also has a rider on it, but not human. He appears to be a minataur. He is well designed sitting atop a saddle. The dragon has a spiked collar as well as strapes to hold the saddle in place. The wings are NOT transparent, but it has a fairly good paint job. I won't lie, THE WING IS HARD TO SNAP IN! (WARNING - Be careful not to break the harness while puttin in the wing) If the wing won't fit, shave a LITTLE of the nob off, and super glue it in (I Highly recommend model glue). Besides that, this boxed-set is EXCELLENT. It looks great with the other dragons as well as by itself.

commander cody is named in homage by lucas to the character "commando cody :king of the rocketmen" ..the jet pack wearing hero of the 1930s cliffhanger films (who both boba and jango fett's armor is based upon)
this figure is fantastic!..the detailing is top notch all the way down to the dings ,dents, and customed division paint on the arnor the helmet is well detailed, and he is ready for battle with 2 blasters..also a display stand is included ..and for a extra bonus the figure includes a hologram figure of a
stormtrooper(well mine did, they are random hologram figures)
bottom line, this is one of my favorite of the revenge of the sith line.. the star wars collection gets better and better..i just wish there was more films coming..:)

Commander CodyI do not acually own commander cody. I've been looking all over for him. I'm a big star wars collector. the two main figures I need for my collection are Commander Cody and Comander Scorch. From what I've heard Commander Cody is a very good figure. With his removeable helmet, removeable jetpack, and two blasters. If you get a chance at him I would take it.
Commander Cody Rocks!Clone Commander Cody, also known as unit 2224, was a loyal clone trooper serving the Galactic Republic. Cody developed a close and easy going cameraderie with Kenobi, easily exchanging dry jokes with his Jedi General. Cody was ultimately subservient to the orders of the republic, and when Order 66 was enacted-- branding Kenobi an enemy of the state-- Cody willingly carried out the command to open fire on his former friend. His homeworld is Kamino, his species is human, his gender (of course) is male.
His helmet comes off and has orange trimming on his armor. Under the helmet you see what looks like a replica of Jango Fett. This figure is great. It is on the Most Wanted Figure list along with Scorch Republic Commando.
He is 1.83 meters tall, his weapon is blaster pistol and blaster rifle, vehicle is republic gunship and rocket pack, and his affiliation is Galactic Republic and Clone Trooper. This figure is very durable.

what a dumb toyTo begin with . . . this thing is ENORMOUS! Where on earth am I going to store it? Second; this requires 6 size D batteries! At $6 for a pack of four, that starts to add up (seeing as my child NEVER remembers to shut it off). Third; the markers don't wash off (BTW, *what* is the point of markers combined with lite-brite?). Fourth; little pegs all over the place! And Last; the novelty of sticking pegs into little holes wears off fast. I can't wait to dump this one in the trash.
NO REFILLS, DESIGN FLAWSMy daughter picked this out herself for her fourth birthday, in the My Little Pony Version. She quickly mastered the letter identification/match to peg color concept and really enjoyed coloring and making pegged pictures. She likes the tracing concept, but much prefers to ask her older sister to do the tracing.
Flaws:
1) The storage bin for the pegs needs to snap shut. Moving this monster from one part of the house to another is an exercise in frustration because the peg bins pop open and spill all over. Those puppies HURT when you step on them, and you quickly reach the point where you don't have adequate pegs to complete a design.
2) WHERE do you get refills? I can't find them anywhere. I suppose the upside to this is that we haven't yet had to replace the batteries. See the next item.
3) No AC adapter. Replacing batteries for this thing, assuming I can ever find refills and use it again, is going to be beastly expensive.
This toy seemed like a nice, multi-purpose art and educational activity. Five stars for how much fun she had while it lasted. Five stars for how quickly she figured out the letter/color matching. one star for durability because of refills and peg storage, one star overall because we can't use it until we get refills.
A toy that can only be used for 2 days because there is no after-market support from the manufacturer just isn't a good toy. I wish I'd encouraged her to select something else. Anything else.

Watch the little ones with this one! This was given as a Christmas gift to my 4 1/2 year old. We also have a 2 year old that likes to play with her sister and all her toys. Of course, we watch her with the small pegs, however, that was not the problem. I walked out of the room for, no kidding, 30 seconds, came back to my 2 year old colored BLUE! She had taken one of the markers and drew all over herself. OK, I take blame for that given I was out of the room, however, THE MARKS DO NOT COME OFF HER SKIN!!!!! I tried EVERYTHING (hairspray, vaseline, plain soap and warm water, alcohol based products, fingernail polish remover, scrubbing, etc. etc.) NOTHING WORKED. Nothing. It just has to wear off. PLEASE toy manufacturers - PLEASE - use washable markers when making products like this.
