        A Piece of JUNK!

We bought this toy for my son today. I have to say that for the most part it is junk. The pieces do not stay together when you try to make the "dragon" and when they are attached to the action figure they fall off as well. I was hesitant about buying this toy since I know that is a common problem with Power Ranger "Battlized" figures that have all the small parts. Don't buy this toy and save your money....

        Wait for the REAL Battleizer
I havent bought this toy, but I am not going to. Just wait for the real battleizer.

Superman Returns: 5.5" Clark to Superman Figure
        Made by Mattel
          Amazon base price: $
          Average review score:

This is the one to buy!
The last son of Krypton finally returns to the big screen, and Mattel does a fantastic job of capturing his likeness in action figure form with the "Cark to Superman" articulated figure. Of the currently available 5.5 inch "Superman Returns" action figures, "Clark to Superman" is the one to buy! It's the best "no frills" representation of the man of steel, with a suit made to resemble the one in the film exactly (it looks MUCH better than the oddly shiny representation in the Amazon image), and no levers, triggers, or anything else sticking out of his back or anywhere. It's just a great Superman figure, pure and simple! Kal-El's cape is fabric, his suit is highly detailed with textures and paints, and he has 10 points of articulation (knees, elbows, hips, shoulders, waist, and pivoting head). The overall design makes for some amazingly realistic poses taken right out of the film!

Now, unfortunately, I cannot give this figure the full 5 stars I'd like to, even though it is an outstanding Superman figure. The problem lies in the figure's special feature, the transformation into and from Clark Kent. As other reviewers have already mentioned, the cape is the source of the trouble. The pants and shoes work fine, the wig with attached glasses works great too (though it looks a little bulky and weird), but the shirt just doesn't look good simply because the cape must be stuffed into the back. This not only ruins the Clark Kent disguise effect, it also wrinkles the cape. It seems these secret identity transforming figures always lose out in one suit or the other, and I think the only ideal way to handle it (since a removable cape might hurt the Superman look), would be to make it an action figure two-pack. Nevertheless, fun can still be had with this figure, especially if you forget about transforming him into Clark Kent. And, for the collector's display shelf, this IS the one to get! I also recommend picking up the Missile Launching Lex Luthor figure, with its amazing likeness to Kevin Spacey, and seek out the Batman Begins "Battle Gear Batman" (see my review) for the most basic "Batman Begins" Batman figure.

          darn cape!
I knew this figure was gonna be great fun because my cousin has the exact same one.But as stated in other reviews the cape isn't removable so he looks too bulky.Another problem I've had is that I found that if you leave him in Clark Kent mode for too long the cape wrinkles.Other then those two problems I think that collectors and kids alike, and I too would of liked a piece of kryptonite. After all what would superman be without kryptonite?

          Great Figure with one Flaw
This would be the Best superman figure ever if they had made the cape removable. That way he would be less bulky otherwise awesome figure.

lousy toy -- .25 cents worthy of parts
Hard to assemble. Not durable. I've gotten better toys out of a gumball machine.

            the phoenix is awesome
Cobalt Blade may be strong( i know, i have it), but compared to Samurai Phoenix its pathethic. With one Phoenix Wing engaged, its stronger than the cobalt blade. In Battle Hammer i hit hit the puck across the line with one shot. Also, the Phoenix Sight is a really good acuuracy pieece, and it looks cool to!!!

            BUY HIM NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BUY HIM NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE IS TO COOL!!!!!!!!!!! HE HAS AWSOME POWER!!!!!!!!!1I GIVE IT A 500 IF I COULD!!!!!!!!!!!!and no,i could not get a beter toy out of a gumball machine.so........GET HIM NOW!!!!!!!!!!!ALL YA GOTTA DO IS PRESS THE LITTLE BUTTON UP THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!(PS:his wings on his helmet fall off pretty easy but thats ok.)so....BUY HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lego Stories and Action Vikings: Viking Warrior Challenges the Fenris Wolfe (7015)

LEGO Vikings are great, but you get what you pay for!
I am an adult LEGO fan and I mainly buy the LEGO Star Wars line. I was somehow drawn to this new Vikings line, however, and I love 'em!

This particular set is the cheapest an smallest. The wolf is not that great of a creature, especially compared to the dragons in the more expensive sets.

I have all the Vikings sets and your best bets are the Viking Fortress ($70), Viking ship ($50), and the Viking Catapult w/ Dragon ($20). The Viking boat is also a good deal for $10.00.

This little set is my least favorite of the Vikings line, but was the only one keeping me from completing all the sets.

Extra, extra, read all about it: Viking Vs. Fenris Wolf one of the BEST lego sets yet!
Well, first, we'll start with the wolf. It has a nice red eyepiece (a red "technic" 12-inch piece), and a unique head. The neck is a "Toa Hordika" headpiece. There is no bottom lip, which detracts from the looks but not from the fun. It has a "RoboRider Head" for his back. His legs are mostly black "Battle Droid Arms". I'd rate it 9/10 for no bottom lip.
The viking is AWESOME! He has coveted "sparkly black" parts on his helmet and axe. The axe is two parts, unlike the previous axe type. He has a shield and a silver "Knight's Kingdom" sword
as well as "Knights Kingdom minifig armor" in black. His "turret" has a black spear and a "Nuhvok Kal" claw. The turret kind of sucks, but the "Nuhvok Kal" claw will be useful to bionicle fans (as will the "Toa Hordika Headpiece" now that I think of it,)so all is forgiven. Overall the viking/turret gets 8.5 out of 10 for blatant turret suckiness. An average of 8.75/10, good job LEGO!
