Everything comes off but its a good collecters item.Only a collecters item. Not a toy to play with. Every part of the body comes off and is very hard to put back on. It comes with a "The Empire Strikes Back" stand and a blood red lightsaber. Cool but not to be messed around with. If getting it dont buy it online or at Toys R Us because its $9. At other stores its $5.
The Chosen Star Wars Fan (Jedi Temple) Cole Y.I know, it seems like I always like writing about the dark side. The Dark Side is not my favorite though! Darth Vader the Saga figure is a okay fig. Yes-- his upper part of his helmet always comes off! And it is super hard to stand him up. This figure is not rare. I found this Dark Lord of The Sith at Target right behind a AT-AT driver, and two R2s. At toys r us I found it behind one Snow Trooper! Not to brag but when I went to my downtown with my family I found it on a shelf right next to a Star Wars TCG Starter and Booster for E3!
He comes with a hologram fig and base. For seven dollars I bought it! I am glad because I just finished my battle of hoth collection over the internet.

1 star out of the box, 4 if you have some glue on handBeing an avid fan of dark lords, whether it be from movies, games, or books, i'm always on the lookout for new figures to collect and display on my shelf. So, when I saw this vader while going through my local Target, I decided to pick him up. His sculpt looked good, he had a good pose, and seemed like a good buy.
But when I got home and tried to get him out of his box...that's when the problems began.
Though you can't tell from looking at the box or the pictures provided, the upper part of Vader's helmet is removable. The bad thing is, you can't keep it on. The upper part of Vaders helmet, no matter how hard you try, will not stay on his head. You can mash it down as hard as you can, yet at the slightest tilt it will roll off, exposing the inner workings of Vader's helmet (including the back of his bald head). It's frustrating to try and get that blasted piece of plastic to stay on, yet it won't, no matter what you do. I even managed to make it come off simply by gently blowing at the figure's face!
The second problem with this Vader is that his hands seemed to have weakened. For some reason, Vader can no longer hold his lightsaber. Due to a undesirable sculpt of his right hand, it's almost impossible for Vader to hold his lightsaber. You can cram it in, jam it in, curse and do all you want, yet it won't stay. Rather undesirable, considering that kids will most likely want to have Vader hold onto his lightsaber. Be sure to have tiny rubber bands on hand if you want Vader to hold onto his weapon.
A third problem I have with this package lies not with the figure, but with the packaging it came in. The figure I got came in a package that is similar to the one shown above, except that Vader is holding his lightsaber across his waist, where it slips into a small plastic sleeve. The problem is that when you try to remove Vader, the lightsaber is inevitably bent and twisted as you try to get it out. It wouldn't look so good on the movie screen if Vader turns on his lightsaber only to have a bent blade as he fights the forces of good.
However, problems aside, this is actually a pretty good Vader. He stands up easily and twists at the shoulders, elbows, hands, head, leg, and knee. He stands up easily and can pose in a variety of posisions. The sculpting is good and the helmet looks dead on.
Now, why the title you ask? The reason is this. If you take some glue and cement the upper part of Vader's helmet to his head so that it stays there, then I upgrade the figure to four stars. By gluing his helmet down, you miss seeing his bald head, but that's a small price to pay for having his famous helmet stay on.
Overall, if you want to play with this figure and get him into poses, I highly recommend gluing his helmet down and having rubber bands on hand to keep Vaders lightsaber in his hand. If you just want to display him in his box, he's pretty good for that as well.

Great idea--terrible design!Bought this for my 5 year old Justice Leaguer. My son is not a rough player but we went through 4 (YES, FOUR) of them before we finally got one where the elevator didn't break in the 1st 2 weeks. Mattel needs to get their act together and design toys that have durability. VERY disappointing!
Elevator out of order! It's a good thing most of the Justice Leaguers can fly, because the elevator on our Watchtower broke in the first 20 minutes after Superman got jammed in it. While I was able to rescue the Man of Steel, the elevator string bound in the gears and broke. There's no way of repairing it without taking apart the entire center column, which is not something I was likely to try, given the number of widget, gadgets, and springs on that part. I also found the center column and elevator mechanism difficult to assemble. The directions could have had more words and fewer pictures, as well. (Do they assume that the parents are illiterate?)
I agree with the reviewer who said that Mattel needs to work on the quality of the toy.

My daughter loves this toyI bought this for Christmas. It was somewhat challanging to put together properly, but after that it was quite fun for my five year old. I know when she plays with this due to the sound fx.

Waste of MoneyMy 4 yr old begged and begged for this toy and I finally gave in when I found it on clearance. After playing with it for maybe an hour, even he said "Mommy, this was a waste of money!" If he doesn't follow the directions exactly in the order said, or tries to skip ahead, the game is unable to keep up and then he gets frustrated. I'm really glad we didn't pay anything close to full price for this useless piece of plastic
My son loves this! (and so does Dad)I wish they were still making the Fusion Crew creatures because they made wonderful behavior incentives for my 5 year old son. This game works something like one of those trading card games. My husband used to play "Magic" when he was in college so enjoys the Fusion Dome with my son. You stick critter halves together to create your own creature and then compete with the other player. The dome talks you through the process and anounces the name of the creatures by reading a bar code. There are lights and sounds and the loser gets "flushed" down the shoot. My son can be pretty hard on his toys and this one seems to be holding up well.
My son's favorite giftMy 4 year old son got this for Christmas. He'd been asking for it for months. He absolutely loves it! He's always asking for me to play it with him. I don't even think the buttons each player presses really do anything but he thinks they do. He anxiously awaits to hear who wins. It's a lot of fun for him. I imagine for older kids it may not be much fun but for 3-6 year olds it is. Not much educational value but perhaps it could teach a child how to listen and follow instructions.

A Boat That Sinks? The first thing my daughter did with this toy was take the boat over to her wading pool and put the boat in the water. The boat sank right to the bottom because the directions note: "not for use in water or sand."
What kind of boat cannot be used in water? I suggest dropping the wheels and motor from the boat and making a simple toy that floats. A floating boat could be used in the bathtub, pools, lakes etc.
We are fans of the little people toy series but a sinking boat conveys a poor message and is not up the standard of the other toys in this series. For us water lovers, please make a boat that floats!

The boat is fun for toddlers! My toddler received this for Christmas and really likes the boat. As far as the other parts of the toy they get limited use. The boat will seat almost any other "Lil People" but on occasion some of their hands get in the way causing them to fall off. If I had it to do over I would buy it again just because he likes to play with the boat.

Wrestlemania XXI Series II Figure 2-Pack: Eugene & Maven

Eugene is the specialest wrestler ever!Hi there! I'm Frank, and I'll be filling in for Zaggy today while he spends his day at "the old sweat factory" as he likes to put it. Wow, I didn't know they could manufacture that stuff! I gotta remember to ask Zaggy how they do that when he gets back...
Yup, I really dig this set of WWE WrestleMania 21 action figures featuring Maven and Eugene. While I like Maven all right, he simply isn't quite as special as Eugene is. Ever since he hit the WWE scene, not only has he been the funniest wrestler since Goldust, he's also been a real inspiration to me. Even though he's "special", he's managed to attain his dream of becoming a star of the squared circle! Now he's got the babes, an assisted-living estate in Malibu (I hear he time-shares it with that Corky guy from "Life Goes On"), and his very own chauffered short bus! I hear he'll be driving the bus on his own as soon as he passes the driver's exam. Sure he's flunked it three times already, but he keeps getting closer to passing every time. Heck, at the rate he's going, he'll have his license in about five to seven years...
Anyway, I love how poseable these two figures are! Which is good, because you have to have a great deal of flexibility to imitate those wonderful moves the guys put on each other inside the squared circle... and outside it sometimes, too! The only real complaint I'd have about the Eugene toy is that, while the sculpt is reasonably true-to-life, the figure's a bit more buffed-looking than Eugene is in real life. But when I think about it, it isn't a bad thing; Eugene needs all the self-esteem-boosting he can get! So could I, now that I think about it. Yep, I'm feeling a bit down right now... guess I'd better jump into my stylin' 1974 Pinto hatchback and head on down to the Mickey D's for some comfort food! Just as soon as I ask Ro'y permission to take my lunch break...

Ghost with Brute Halo 2 Series 3

Buy one from zShops for: $74.95
Average review score:

Could have been betterI'll admit, I've got some beefs with the Mini Series of the Halo toyline. Namely: None of it is to scale! This Ghost and the Brute included are all out of proportion with the Warthog, which itself isn't exactly right. I've measured it compared to the real model from the game, and it is grandiosly oversized, making it impossible for the Mini Chief or the Mini Marines to fit on it. The Brute figure is kind of fun to play with, but the Ghost is pretty rigid and mainly made for displaying. The front Guns move, and I use them to keep the figure from rocking back and forth. It has a nice paint job, and despite the bad scale and accuracy it is a good looking peice.
What a plethora of minfigs! I thought that the Gammorean Guard had been lost forever. Jabba was a no-brainer but I'm glad to see the Gammorean. Lando's helmet...It's like a thing of beauty. I was expecting a samurai helmet but Lego tricked me and pulled this awesome helmet. Cheers! We also got Slave Leia back! Yay! This was a nice jackpot of figures. It also has R2(With drink server), Luke, Han, and Boba.
Well you probably didn't want to get this for the figures,(or did you?)so how's the barge? One word: Beautiful. The barge is alot longer than what it looks like on the box. The stickers aren't all that bad. Don't hurt me... Well anyway my only two actual complaintes are the Boba Fett launcher and the sails. The Boba Fett launcher, is well, out of place. I don't like it. I took mine off, it's not a necessity anyway. The sails are always in the way when placing figures. It get's annoying. Those are my two complaints. The interior of the barge is quite comfortable and is ,well, just dandy.
The skiff is a MUCH better improvement from the original. The plank is now large enough for a figure to stand on. ou actually pull the plank out this time. It's an ingenious design. The skiff is great and nice little addition.
The sarlaac is rather plain and the figures don't fit in it's mouth. But meh. Im would have bought the set without the sarlaac anyway.
What a great set. It is definately worth $75. Heck, it's worth even more but we get it at this price range. This set is definately on the top 5 greatest star wars sets of all time. Get this as a birthday gift or christmas. I would get this over the new Imperial Star Destroyer anyday. Get this set and be glad you did.
