Action Figure Reviews

This item is basically a regular gumball machine with a Star Wars decal on it and a Darth Vader action figure on top. For the price, it's pretty nice. My husband is a darth vader collector and this fit in with the rest of his collection nicely.

My 7 year old son has many, many action figures. We purchased McFarlane's Corpse bride figures as well as the Nightmare Before Christmas figures. ALL FIGURES HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO PLAY VALUE AT ALL!!! My son is very gentle, and likes to pose most of the toys, but each time you try to pose anything on these dolls it BREAKS. Yes, they are gorgeous, exact replicas of the movie characters, but once you get them out of the box - if you can do so without breaking them in the process - they have to sit.

Victoria was one of my favorite characters from Corpse Bride, so I was very happy when I bought this figure. I found her to be very durable, especially when compared to some of the other Corpse Bride toys. Oddly enough, her skirt is flat across the bottom, allowing her to stand perfectly fine without the base, although the base has been made to look like stone and does go very well with the figure. Her neck is ball jointed, although it can't move down because of the collar of her dress, making her capable of only looking straight forward or up. The arms are nicely articulated and will allow for some great poses.

Aside from her base, Victoria comes with a vase and removeable flower. The flower fits nicely into her left hand, although I can't figure out how to get her to hold the vase. I've seen pictures of her holding it, so it is possible, you just might have a hard time trying to do it yourself. I've had to put the vase between one of the cracks on her base to keep from losing it.

Had Victoria come with a few more accessories and been able to easily hold her vase she'd be worth five stars, but despite these flaws she's still a must have figure.

This is an awesome toy , i think it would be considered vintige because its not on the market anymore , the upside is that its very durable ive had mine for 10 years .. downsides are that the gun breaks easy .. anyways buy it ! Boba Fett !

Boba Fett is a fairly easy Action Figure to find for a collection. We see in Episode 6 - Return of the Jedi that Boba Fett meets his end as he falls into the Sarlacc's mouth in the Pit of Carkoon on the desert wastes of the planet Tatooine. The Mighty Sarlaac will digest anyone over 1,000 years slowly. In one of the recent books that was written Boba Fett meets the trapped spirit of a Jedi and he does indeed survive the imprisonment of the Sarlaac. I really do not wish to go into detail and spoil the ending of the book just in case you decide to read it. One major aspect of Boba Fett is his Mandalorian Body Armor. Little is known about the Madnalorians but it is the armor which keeps him alive in the body of the Mighty Sarlaac.

The toughest Boba Fett is the first one released with the L shaped slot on his back where he could fire a Rocket. Also known as the "Rocket Firing Boba Fett." Some of the back of the earlier cardbacks depict a small pic of Boba Fett bent over with the Red Rocket being fired. The firing Fett was recalled due to the fact that the toy was unsafe for small children to play with. The original prototype is a bluish grey in color and commands a whopping minimum of $5,000.00.

This item is from the Power of the Force Orange Carded series and he comes with the Sawed Off Blaster Rifle and Jet Pack and is a great addition for a collection or as a gift for a lucky recipient.

Well, it only took 8 years or so to happen, hasbro figured out that the late kenner endor solo was not, the nicest figure of the old scoundrel. For you guys keeping a close tag on the saga line, this is the same Han from otc vintage collection but sporting now a new vest and a rebel trench coat(very nice) that is not too big or small for the figure, the paint job is more or less pefect with a couple of silver spots out of place in the belt, over 12 points of articulation and a face with a smirk and likeness that even my wife loves, this is sure to be one of bests figure in the vintage collection

If you're a huge Star Wars fan like me, there's a good chance you also enjoy collecting Star Wars merchandise. My particular poison just so happens to be collecting action figures and that's where this review comes into play.

Overall, this figure looks great. Very detailed, articulated design down to the core, his boots even give off a bit of a shine. Even his face is very Harrison Ford like.

But his body seems to be a bit too "thin" compared to other modernly released figures by Hasbro. For some examples: his head is smaller than most of my other figures, and his arms and legs are almost anorexic looking compared to the likes of say, Boba and Jango Fett's figures. (His height, oddly enough, is perfect though.) This is all of course, a slight set back that can be overlooked if such things don't bother you.

But ignoring all that, when it all comes down to it, this is a must have for any huge Star Wars action figure junky!

This is the best remake of the Han Solo figure with trenchcoat done. It surpasses the original vintage figure from 1984, which was the best for its time. This Han figure has the correct shirt, brown pants as seen in ROTJ with yellow strips, a working holster, and the trenchcoat has real pockets to place his hands in like the photograph!!!
This representation of Han Solo is the definitive version in the outfit most seen in ROTJ. This figure could not have been better.
