Sound doesn't work!! But a great toy overall
My daughter received this for her birthday, and after trying 3 sets of batteries, the sound doesn't work :( But other than that, it is a great toy.

Loves this toy
I thought my 4 yr old was too old for Little People Toys - but because of the princess theme of her 4th birthday party, my sister-in-law saw this and sent it to her. She LOVES it!! This is the one toy that she has really enjoyed since her party. Everything elso was opened and looked at - but this is the one that gets played with!! We added the 'Night at the Ball' pieces and these have also added to the playtime!!

Wonderful toy!
My daughters (3 and 5 year old) love this toy! Or is it because the palace is pink? Who knows???

Lots of fun- even as stand alone toy
My daughter got this for Christmas at 2 1/2- she still loves it. It's lots of fun to "Land" the plane and have it take off. My husband and I even really enjoy it. We've had older kids (9-11) come visit and they have really enjoyed it as well. Even though it doesn't connect to the tracks it's fun. Sometimes we don't want to have the entire train set up- this is nice because it doesn't take up as much space and it's easy to set up!

round and round we go!
WOW! Our son lives next to an airbase and loves all things winged or propellered! We bought this to go along with the working town railway for his 2nd birthday. It can also be bought and used without the trainset as it is VERY fun by itself! Our son can operate the plane all on his own by pulling the control handle back...he can take off, fly for awhile (the plane goes around and around on a hinged arm and you can even control how high or low you want to fly!) and land back down on the runway. You can use other vehicles with it as well, there are sea planes, jets and helicoptors available (separately) and the set allows for different vehicles by allowing you to choose between helicoper, jet or propeller plane sound effects! The control tower even has blinking lights and beeps. It is VERY durable, as is all of the geotrax toys we've had experience with. I love the size, perfect for younger kids, and great practice with their motor skills. It is large enough to become "engulfed" in that world. Our son has spent hours "flying". We love that Fisher Price designed something for toddlers that is usually reserved for the "big kids". In fact, our whole family is a little crazy about this set...parents and 9 year old sister. It really brings us all together to play and create and we love it!

Ideal for young children
This is my three-year-old son's favorite part of the GeoTrax system. After he got this for his birthday it got lost in the shuffle and wasn't brought out for several weeks. After his first time playing with it however, we wondered why we hadn't gotten it out sooner. While it may not connect well to the other GeoTrax, it keeps him well entertained while we spend time setting up the other tracks.

overpriced and overrated
The Little People Animal Sounds Farm toy is overrated and overpriced. I believe the best toy is the simplest toy that doesn't require too much assembling time. The animal sounds are muffled, e.g., the pig and the cow. These animals don't do much except staying in the same area. In addition, it requires screw driver and batteries. I would rather spend my money in purchasing coloring activity books. I would prefer purchasing a toy that actually enhances my child's developmental skill which I don't believe this toy has. It couldn't keep my two-year-old daughter attention longer than five minutes. For the number of pieces and quality of the product, it should be priced no more than $20. How much does a chip cost anyway?

I had this when I was a kid...
I had the wooden little people set when I was a kid but bought the more updated version for our kids when we saw it. It is just as good if not better than the one I had when I was a kid. It is durable, makes plenty of sounds, encourages free play, and is a lot of fun to have around.

Everything a toy should be.

Great for toddlers!
This is the last Little People set I purchased for my toddler son. He has most of the other "big" sets, and didn't have this one, so I read reviews and decided to buy. I have to say that I am a little disappointed as my version does not have the scarecrow or the catapulting bed :( However, I do find that my son enjoys this toy. He loves to place the animals in their "homes" and hear the noises that they make. He enjoys piling all of the animals, including the farmer, into the horse and cow's stall. Cute!

What you get:

1 Barn
1 Farmer
1 Farmer's cart
1 Horse
1 Cow
1 Lamb
1 Pig
1 Chicken
1 removable rooster to top the barn

Features:

Sounds everywhere! There are sounds for each animal wherever the animal's "home" is located...ie. if you put the pig in the pigpen and press lightly, it will Oink at you. Of course, it will also Oink if you place the horse there, or any other animal, but I figure it can be a great way to teach children the proper sound each animal makes. The farmer's bed also makes a snoring noise for when he is sleeping, or a rooster's call when it's time for him to wake up. There is a workbench that makes a sawing noise or hammering noise when pressed also. There is a merry-go-round in front of the barn that produces a few songs such as "Farmer in the Dell" or "Old Macdonald" when turned.

Overall, this is a great little barn, but I'm writing Fisher-Price to tell them they should have taken away the scarecrow or the bed feature because it's obviously a great feature!

    COMES WITH GREEN RANGER,......Fun toy!

My son has both the Dragon Tracker (this item) and the Mystic Tracker. This item comes with the GREEN Ranger, not with the red as shown in the picture. The other 4 wheeler comes with the red ranger. It is a fun toy and I recommend both ATV's for the Power Ranger fan. The projectiles aren't as easy to manipulate on this particular ATV as they are on the Mystic Tracker. I find I need to help my son out with them. A great buy with free shipping since anything Mystic Force is getting harder to find in the stores.

      Exchange Process
This is the worst customer service I have ever received from an online company. My son received a gift from his an\unt and it was a duplicate of an item he already had. I tried to exchange the item with the original shipping information, but because he received the item beyond 30 days from the ship date, they would not allow the exchange. I, as well as my family, will never be ordering from this site again.

Good, decent set...finally some "behind the scenes" action.
Usually the large Dragons sets are castles or strongholds or some form of battlefield. After all, they are usually more...exciting. This set finally introduces fans to the first major kind of, behind the scenes set. Here we see where our warriors are and what they're doing when they aren't battling the heck out of one another. This is where the new Odaku forces make their magically imbued weaponry.
It has three major elements (not counting the dragon): a large furnace, a blacksmith shop, and a crane/prison. Overall, the new "oriental" theme is great. I was getting a tad tired of the European derived look of the past building sets. I love the pagoda looking pieces. I only wish there where more. The set isn't terribly hard to build...at least not in my opinion. The three main components are separate, so the won't fall apart when you move them, since the don't share a base.
The furnace is neat, but painfully easy to build, and not much room for cutomization. I built it without instructions. It lights up and includes batteries! A separate conveyer belt for forged weapons is included...though it doesn't work as smoothly as I'd like. Neat though. The weapons shoppe is actually simple, yet neat. Even comes with a little anvil to hammer on. Comes with an array of weapons, both new Odaku stuff, as well as old weapons (even some katanas from the Ninja Turtle sets). The jail/crane is nice, but I kinda wish there was a clear "reason" for it. What is it supposed to lift? The dragon is cool. They kept the standard four legs, a tail and two wings, but added an oriental flair to the head. Has some removable armor, which is neat. The wings...kinda blow. The aren't ball joint or hinged, but bendy wire articulation, and permanently attached too. They are quite stiff, and don't give a wiiide range of movement. The figures are just too cool. I love the new design asthetic for the Odaku and thier weapons. To get the Odaku leader, Scylla, you need to get this set. You also get a bearded bald guy (a henchman or a general?), and one regular warrior. You also get one old figure...a lone Draigar guy.
My only major complaint about this set? NOT ENOUGH GUYS TO PLAY WITH!!! Only four measly warriors? I've noticed other sets suffer from the same problem...overall, the Odaku are getting grossly out-numbered here! Only ten Odaku altogether. You can possibly buy doubles of certain sets, or the new troop builder set...but you gotta spend more $$$...
Final verdict though, good set. A nice addition to the Mega Bloks Dragons kingdom.

A Great Addition to any Dragon fans
First of all this doesn't come with to many people but it has swords that actualy look like they are supposed to! i also like the little dungeon and smelting furness but i have no idea what the crane is for, and the dragon is so COOL! if you like dragons buy this!

Everything comes off but its a good collecters item.
Only a collecters item. Not a toy to play with. Every part of the body comes off and is very hard to put back on. It comes with a "The Empire Strikes Back" stand and a blood red lightsaber. Cool but not to be messed around with. If getting it dont buy it online or at Toys R Us because its $9. At other stores its $5.

The Chosen Star Wars Fan (Jedi Temple) Cole Y.
I know, it seems like I always like writing about the dark side. The Dark Side is not my favorite though! Darth Vader the Saga figure is a okay fig. Yes-- his upper part of his helmet always comes off! And it is super hard to stand him up. This figure is not rare. I found this Dark Lord of The Sith at Target right behind a AT-AT driver, and two R2s. At toys r us I found it behind one Snow Trooper! Not to brag but when I went to my downtown with my family I found it on a shelf right next to a Star Wars TCG Starter and Booster for E3!

He comes with a hologram fig and base. For seven dollars I bought it! I am glad because I just finished my battle of hoth collection over the internet.

      Star Wars Rocks

1 star out of the box, 4 if you have some glue on hand
Being an avid fan of dark lords, whether it be from movies, games, or books, i'm always on the lookout for new figures to collect and display on my shelf. So, when I saw this vader while going through my local Target, I decided to pick him up. His sculpt looked good, he had a good pose, and seemed like a good buy.

But when I got home and tried to get him out of his box...that's when the problems began.

Though you can't tell from looking at the box or the pictures provided, the upper part of Vader's helmet is removable. The bad thing is, you can't keep it on. The upper part of Vaders helmet, no matter how hard you try, will not stay on his head. You can mash it down as hard as you can, yet at the slightest tilt it will roll off, exposing the inner workings of Vader's helmet (including the back of his bald head). It's frustrating to try and get that blasted piece of plastic to stay on, yet it won't, no matter what you do. I even managed to make it come off simply by gently blowing at the figure's face!

The second problem with this Vader is that his hands seemed to have weakened. For some reason, Vader can no longer hold his lightsaber. Due to a undesirable sculpt of his right hand, it's almost impossible for Vader to hold his lightsaber. You can cram it in, jam it in, curse and do all you want, yet it won't stay. Rather undesirable, considering that kids will most likely want to have Vader hold onto his lightsaber. Be sure to have tiny rubber bands on hand if you want Vader to hold onto his weapon.

A third problem I have with this package lies not with the figure, but with the packaging it came in. The figure I got came in a package that is similar to the one shown above, except that Vader is holding his lightsaber across his waist, where it slips into a small plastic sleeve. The problem is that when you try to remove Vader, the lightsaber is inevitably bent and twisted as you try to get it out. It wouldn't look so good on the movie screen if Vader turns on his lightsaber only to have a bent blade as he fights the forces of good.

However, problems aside, this is actually a pretty good Vader. He stands up easily and twists at the shoulders, elbows, hands, head, leg, and knee. He stands up easily and can pose in a variety of posisions. The sculpting is good and the helmet looks dead on.

Now, why the title you ask? The reason is this. If you take some glue and cement the upper part of Vader's helmet to his head so that it stays there, then I upgrade the figure to four stars. By gluing his helmet down, you miss seeing his bald head, but that's a small price to pay for having his famous helmet stay on.

Overall, if you want to play with this figure and get him into poses, I highly recommend gluing his helmet down and having rubber bands on hand to keep Vaders lightsaber in his hand. If you just want to display him in his box, he's pretty good for that as well.

        Evac a Big Hit
Evac was indeed a big hit with my grandson. As with all of the other toys in this line, it's well-made and durable. I highly recommend this toy. Amazon was just a little more expensive $[...], but I've ordered many items from them and can rely on their having it and fast mailing.

        TF enthusiast
More proof that the Cybertron series has been devised by someone who obviously loved the Transfromers as a child.

The Evac mold is incrediblely unique in the TF world. The transformation is intricate the rescue helicopter mode looks like a model of a rescue helicopter. The robot mode is statuesque and has a vast amount of articulation. The detail in the design is incredible. Included are flip out missile launchers, a working wench & the propeller rotates at the push of a button in both helicopter & robot mode.

For those of you inflicted with children: This is a great toy and will appeal to children, but the transformation is a bit complex. I'd save this one for the older children in the target range provided. Younger children with probably snap of something important with repeated use.

For Collectors: I highly recommend this figure because it truly is a masterful mold. Unlike usual helicopter to robot transformations the cockpit doesn't make up the torso, it becomes his feet (unlike the Cybertron Buzzsaw the rehash of the Energon Cyclonus). Also, in the nice change from the norm category, the propeller becomes and spinning shield and sword in robot mode unlike previous helicopter-style TFs that end up with the useless propeller backpack in robot mode. Great detailing & he looks great behind glass. Go now, buy it, go now, buy now.

        Cybertron Evac
The Autobot guardian of the Earth Cyber Key is Evac. A great toy with a lot packed into a medium sized transformer. His helicopter mode is pretty cool. It has a winch that lets down a hook and pulls it back up with the push of a button. A little peg can also be used to spin his blades. This mode is a very nice combination of a recue vehicle and a battle vehicle.
Transforming Evac is not too difficult, but it's harder than most other Cybertron transformers his size. Challenging, but not frustrating.
His robot mode is my favorite. Except for the helicopter blades that rest on his arms, and the winch on the other, you'd hardly guess he was ever a helicopter. His poseability is great, allowing for a wide range of movement and poses. His cyber key activates two rocket launchers of his back. Note: this also works in the vehicle mode.
Evac is an all around great toy. He has a fun vehicle mode, and a really cool robot mode. A great buy for his price.

          Where are the dolls????
My 3 year old got this for a Christmas present. She chose to play with it for the first time on a night she had a babysitter. Not only were there no directions but she was extremely disappointed to find no dolls. We have been in search of them for 3 weeks now and cannot seem to find dolls anywhere.

          Last of the Bandai Strawberries
My daughter received this toy as a gift for Christmas 2004. We had quite a time finding furniture and accessories to go with it. I felt like I had won the lottery when I stumbled upon the last of each of the three furniture sets at a toy store. We bought most of the dolls on online auction. We love the Bandai Strawberry Shortcake products, especially the dolls which are virtually non-existant now that they are out of production. My four year old will play with her "Stawberries" for well over an hour at a time. I almost cried when I saw the new Strawberry Shortcake dolls manufactured by Playmates. (They don't look a thing like Strawberry Shortcake.) This house is worth the money, though we have had a few problems. The window flower boxes pop off from time to time but are easily popped back into place. Last week the latch broke, but in all fairness we had had it for over a year with no problems in that area and I was attempting to force it closed during a whirlwind tidying up session and part of it snapped off. My daughter seldom attempts to close it and hasn't even noticed the broken latch. She still plays with it all the time. My biggest criticism of this product isn't with the product itself. I just can't believe that they produced such tremendous quantities of these (they were stacked high in toy and dicount stores during the holidays of 2004) while producing such a scarcity of the furniture sets and dolls. People went to stores after Christmas to buy furniture and dolls and found nothing but filles and the mermaid line of dolls, with an occassional plaid clad Strawberry. What was Bandai thinking? They should have released another supply of Strawberry and her friends in their traditional outfits for all the little girls who found Berry Happy Homes under the tree that year. I cannot help but wonder if production and marketing mistakes such as these were the reason behind Bandai's loss of the contract to produce the Strawberry Shortcake toys. Regardless, the whole thing stinks. The new Playmates dolls are nothing short of ridiculous and I refuse to buy them. If I were you I would buy this house since what is left of the Bandai products is disappearing fast and the Playmates people are obviously pretty braindead about what Strawberry Shortcake should look like.

          Love it!
I recently brought this house for my 2 1/2 year old that is crazy over Strawberry Shortcake. It is a really cute house with plenty to keep her busy for hours and she loves the fact that she can take it and her dolls with her when we go somewhere. I was disappointed that it is impossible to get any of the extra furniture that is shown on the back of the box and I am not paying $60 and up for what they are going a set on eBay when they sold for just $17.00 a set in the stores. It is a real shame what they did to the new dolls that came out made by Playmate this year. They do not even look like the Strawberry Shortcake we have all grown to love over the years. This house is worth the money if you already have the dolls that were made by Bandai that are 5.5 inches, because if you don't they are getting really hard to find except on eBay.
