Best board game series ever made.
Monopoly is a game where you buy properties that have been mortgaged by the owners, and you must buy them for a ****load of money. It is absolutely the best board game series ever made.

There are tons of special editions for monopoly, for example:
Spongebob
Simpsons
Family Guy

This product is a must buy. BUY IT NOW!

Star Wars Monopoly ROCKS!
This game is a terrific new version of the classic. All the same rules apply of course, but if you choose, the game comes with instructions for a Star Wars twist! I won't tell you what it is, but I will tell you it has something to do with the dice. The game comes with eight character tokens (four are good guys, four are bad guys) and a blue die and a red die. The colors come in handy when playing the star Wars version. You buy and trade for planets. You buy settlements and citys instead of houses and hotels. I think it's great fun! Although I've lost every game to my little brothers! Oh, and for all you big Star wars fans out there, the instructions come with a translation guide for the Star wars galaxy Aurebush language. It helps you to read the words on the "Republic credits". All in all it's a great game, so get out there and play! May the Force be with you!

Classic
Monopoly is just a wonderful game. The classic version after 70 odd years is still just a great game. You can sit down with friends and have a wonderful time and the game is great for everyone from five and on. once a child can read monopoly is a great way to introduce them to the concept of money in a fun way. and it is just a blast to play. Even when your opponet gets upset and upends the board.

Ken as Legolas in Lord of the Rings
Made by Mattel

    Average review score:

Ken as Legolas is a Lord of the Rings Dream...but not perfect.
I got this doll more because of its sale price then its looks at first. I love the Lord of the Rings and Legolas will always be a favorite character of LOTR book and movie lovers. As dolls go, this is a nicely articulated ken. His legs and arms move well which is a good feature if you're in to posing and not keeping dolls in their boxes. His face is well constructed though not particularly masculine. He IS supposed to be an elf though and I'm not embarrassed to have him on my shelf. His hair is just like the films and has a few great padawan-type braids that I love.

The only thing I do NOT like about this doll is his costume which feels cheap and poorly made.

Overall, I'm glad to own this doll. Its a great addition to any Lord of the Rings or Barbie collection.

    A GREAT COLLECTIBLE
I think this is a fantastic item, but I wouldn't call it a toy. To me, it's so well-made and from such a popular book-turned-movie series that it's definitely a collector's item. Meant to be protected by placing in a display case or elsewhere in your home.
You can still enjoy it ... by looking at it and adding it to your collection of precious things. Meanwhile, there are plenty of other Barbies and Kens that are more suitable to rough wear that kids give them.

Buy and enjoy ... from afar. Hands off!!!

At the sale price, add boys to Fairytopia
At the wonderfull sale price of $20 I gave this Legolas to my 5yr old daughter for her recital. It is a great doll and really just as durable as any Ken would be. She loves the Fairytopia line and in the movie they have a guy but they never produced a doll. She always complains that there are not enough men to marry the Barbies, so the price was right for a play addition.

Since we have watched the LOTR movies she knows about some of the charachters. She also has the Toy Biz Arwen, so it was a natrural to give her cousin Legolas. The doll is fully poseable with a "My Scene" body in smaller scale (I wish all Mattel Kens came this way). He will probably end up marrying a Barbie and having Happy Family babies. Not the manliest of pursuits but it sure beats bedding down with Gimli!

The doll is very nicely detailed and the face is amazing, doesn't look much like Orlando Bloom, but still very wispy elven none the less. The costume is a bit better than what you would expect from a prince Ken, and the silver undershirt is separate and so are the boot keepers (I like that), which adds to the upgrade on the doll. Real boots also add to the authenticity of the outfit. As for the weapons, the bow looks quite delicate like the sting will pop off easily and the arrows are very thin. Oh well those can go in a drawer until he needs to go hunt an elk in Fairytopia to put food on the table!

Overall a great doll to play with, don't leave him in the box, Legolas just gets to be more fun if you pair him with a Barbie and play house.

Lord of the Rings Fellowship of the Ring 9-piece Collector Set
      Amazon base price: $

      Nice collection, not a toy
This was purchase as a toy for my 6 and 8 year old boys. The pieces are very detailed with moveable parts. However, the moveable parts, as with most action figures, seem to be the weak link. Each character is now missing a body part. I know the figures were not gently handled, but they also were not torn apart deliberately.

      prrrrrrrrrreciousssssssss!
This is a great set of miniatures for kids who are fans of LotR. For the young collector its a great starter set from this series, for the other kids its well contained in itself. With the discontinuing of this line keeping a few of these MIB is a very good investment idea. Grab 'em.

excellent purchase for Lord of the Ring's fans
I confess I thought the little characters might be poorly finished and roughly painted because of their tiny size. But they were carefully made and are a delight to the eye. They are not toys for very young children due to the small parts but for young adults and not so young ones it is a real pleasure to exhibit the set of figures that represent the Lord of the Rings Fellowship.

Lord of the Rings Return of the King Series 5 Figure: Legolas

        Best Legolas!
Well, I don't know what anyone else thinks about this figure, but i think this Legolas is absolutely awesome! He has the best headsculpt since the Legolas in Rohan armor. He actually looks like Legolas! His detailing is awesome, and his action is way cool! He actually throws the arrows! His arm doesnt have any joint because of the action, but this doesnt take anything away from the overall figure.
        This Legolas is AWESOME!!

The Lord of the Rings Exclusive 20-piece Figure Set

          Good for a wargaming model
I think that it's good but it's not something to buy if you don't use it as a wargaming figurine. They are detailed and of good quality. They are not designed with small children in mind though. I wouldn't recommend them to a Lord of the Rings collecter because they're not very big and they are more for the game than collecting.

          LoTR AoME 20pc. set
when i opened the package, it was not exactly what i had in mind. the figures came in a generic box (not an original LoTR AoME box by play along. this is a set that is put together by amazon). that being said, i should of read the other reviews prior to ordering because they clearly state this simple fact.
with that out of the way, this is an excellent set of figures, mint condition. great addition to my collection.

          THE GREATEST SET OUT THERE!!!!!!!
Being a kid i only wanted this set so that i could play with them i am not a collector but these are very durable except for some of the weapons. When i got this i noticed i didnt get a legolas as said in another review and the description cleary states Legolas included i set them up on my bedroom floor and i play with them every day buy this beofre its gone!!!!!!!

Lord of the Rings Minimates 4-Pack: Frodo, Gollum, Gandalf, Uruk-Hai Berserker

            Frustrating!
I bought this for my young son who loves LOTR. He was happy just have to have LOTR toys, as they aren't that easy to find. They are frustrating. The pieces do not stay together well, and we have lost MANY of hte tiny tiny pieces. Fine if you want to keep in box as a keepsake, but not good for little fingers to actually play with.

LOTR Minimates #2, By a 12 year old
This Minimate pack has Gandalf, Frodo, Gollum/Smeagol, and a Hidden figure.

Gandalf: The best figure in this pack. He comes with a sword, scabbard, and his staff. He has great facial likeness, but his hair/beard are one piece, restricting head movement.

Frodo: Comes with Sting, scabbard, and The One Ring. The ring is on a little string, but Frodo can't hold it easily. His face shows signs of femininity, and it could be a good Arwen face.

Gollum/Smeagol: Comes with a fish. There isn't much to say. His face looks good, but he can't be put into any of the 'crawling' poses from the movie.

Uruk-Hai Berserker: Comes with his Sword and Helmet. His helmet is a little two round, but it makes him kind of cute.

Overall: If you like LOTR, buy this set. I like the other one more, but if you like bad guys, get this set. I can't wait for my 2-packs to arrivre!

The Lord of the Rings Two Towers Series II Figure: Gollum
              Amazon base price: $
              Average review score:

              My...... precious...
This figure is Toy Biz's take on Gollum, the creature a Hobbit once called Smagol was turned into when he succumbed to the power of the Ring, as he appears in The Two Towers movie.
It's a two-piece set, the figure and an Electronic Sound Base. The figure is a vivid representation of the computer-generated character from the movie. It's not a traditional hard plastic figure, but a bendable figure, molded in soft rubber with inside wires for an endless variety of poses. The paint job is remarkable, pale and pink stipples on his skin give a realistic impression of a delicate, unhealthy flesh. And the amount of details for such a simple creature is extraordinary: you can clearly see the wrinkles on the palms of its hands, the lashes on its back, the thin strands of hair on his head, the irises of his eyes, the fibers on his loincloth and even each tiny, deformed tooth in his mouth.
The Electronic Sound Base on the other hand is made of hard plastic, and it simulates a salient of rocks with vines and a dead twisted tree branch. When you push a button neatly disguised as a stone it plays the phrase, "My precious..." - maybe even a bit too loud - in the voice of Andy Serkis, the actor who voices Gollum and Smagol in the movie trilogy. And although the base doesn't have pegs to secure the figure by its feet, it has plenty of space for the figure to stand on without fear of having it suddenly tumble down.
I should also point out that this is the same figure that was released for the Return of the King series under the name of "Smagol with Authentic Movie Phrases," the only difference between the two is the face sculpt, whereas Gollum wears an evil grin wrapped in hatred for his Hobbit companions and desire for the Ring, Smagol displays a frivolous look underlined by madness.
This is the best Gollum figure so far, and it looks especially good displayed alongside Frodo and Sam, so don't wait too long to add it to your collection.

Lord of the Rings Figure 3 Pack: Shagrat/Gorbang/Mordor Orc
                Amazon base price: $
                Average review score:

                great three pack
This is a great three pack. Shagrat is awsome, he comes with his cool Uruk sword and this is the first Mordor Uruk yet. Gorbang is really cool because if you have Frodo and Sam you can play out the scene when Sam kills Gorbang. I don't think the orc with mace was in the movie but he's a great addition to the set. This is probably my favorite three pack so far.

                  Okay...
This action figure is good except for the fact that it looks deformed and leaves you wishing a little more effort would have been put into it to make it look nicer and move more smoothly. My friends have even looked at it and said it just doesn't look right.
