pokemon emreld is awsome ! its so cool! My freind owns it. i battle with him it awsome! I gave it four stars becuce MY FRIEND CAN'T TRADE WITH ME BECAUCE I HAVE FIRERED! anyway get this game!

This is another recent addition to the pokemon series, and it is one of the best! I bought pokemon sapphire version in 2003 and i became addicted. I enjoyed playing this awesome game. And when emerald came out I was psyched because it has all the features of ruby and sapphire put together. this game rocks! and whether you have played ruby and sapphire or not, you just have to buy this game!

I ride the school bus to school and a friend of mine brings his Game Boy Advance SP with him on the bus. One day he was playing Pokemon Emerald Version. He told me it was a great game. So one day I went to Best Buy because my sister was looking for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang on DVD and I happened to come over to the Game Boy section of the store and found it on sale. My dad told me I could buy it. So I did and now I am so hooked to it!

My 6 & 8 year olds sons received this toy for Christmas. They are HUGE Pokemon fans so just the fact that it has Pokemon pictures on it made the toy worth it. Fortunately, it also happens to be fun to play. 2 to 4 players try to allow the fewest balls possible past their own paddles. The fewest points wins. Each player has their own scorekeeper for up to 5 games. Setting up the game after every round gets a little tedious, however it's not so bad if everyone helps. The 2 best things for me are that I don't mind playing (unlike the actual Pokemon cards which are a boring nightmare for me!) and it doesn't require batteries!! My 3 year old daughter likes to play too although she loses every time. We just don't tell her.
If your kids like Pokemon, this is a good toy.

The reason I think this game is awesome, is because...wello it is we just purchased it and me and my friends were playing it then I talked my mother into it she loves it! So we are going to play it as a family (since we have 4 people). Everyone should buy this if they like Pokemon and Pinball!

Yeah, it's a cool, talking Neopets plushie, but the batteries in the speaker seem to go dead quickly. If you have this is your collection, like me, don't leave the toy on. But, nevertheless, the plushie is really cuddly and fluffy, and is a good item for your Neopets collection.

it's me nicole again! here is my decision, PIKA PIKA PIKACHU!!! i just thought that it's WAY better to get a pikachu. (1) it's 8 inches and a luv cub is 12 inches - reason why it's good, it's smaller to carry around! (2) MUCH CHEAPER, why is that good? a luv cub could be 40 or 30 dollars, this is only 10! (3) the reviews - what about them? there seems to be no NEGATIVE reviews about this except for the guy who thought this was way too quiet, which i think is just stupid to complain about. besides, u don't wanna be annoying to ur parents just bcuz it's too loud. so it's ok that it's quiet. there seem to be more negative reviews about the luv cub. (4) isn't everyone sick to death of bears?! teddy bears, more teddybears, interactive bear dolls, now luv cubs! who wouldn't get tired of bears?! get something that actually is a unique creature that it's even cuter cuz it's not real and u have something that would make u feel as if the REAL Pikachu were with u. bears, u see them in zoos, circuses, teddy bears, i'm sick of bears! u can feel like he's the real pikachu. for example...if u like lilo and stitch like me, u might have wished that stitch was ur friend and that u'd even want an interactive stitch doll. but i couldn't find any. so i'm getting pikachu b-4 i lose him! u can see teddy bears ANYWHERE! hurry up, B-4 U LOSE UR CHANCE OF B-FRIENDING PIKACHU!!! i'll write another review when i get him. i think he'll arrive around next week.

P.S. maybe i'll even make him some shirts! i bet red will look cute on him! (:

hiya! i'm nicole! i really love pikachu even though i'm not much of a pokemon fan. i don't own this but i'm seriously thinking about it. bcuz i also am interested in getting a furreal friends luv cub. which also, sounds just 2 adorable. i think the cutest thing i've read from reviews about pikachu is the cute crying when u ignore him. but the luv cub hugs u, and u can feed it a bottle, and it makes sounds like giggling, cooing, sniffing, hiccups, burps, etc. now if there is somebody who owns these items, could u please tell me which u would suggest? bcuz i'm thinking more on the luv cub, but i'm still thinking of poor little pikachu without me. i REALLY WANNA KNOW what to get! they both just sound SOOO cute! if u write a review answering me about this please say something like 'to nicole' or something. cuz if i get pikachu i hope i won't want a luv cub instead, or if i get a luv cub, i feel a little like i'm abandoning one of the cutest creatures ever!

This toy is junk. I had very low expectations given it's cost, but I was still disappointed. Take your kid out for ice cream instead of buying this toy.

writing for my grandson he really enjoyed playing the toy, i even play it with him.

I got the areana with the treecko yesterday and he is soo cute!He actually battles the Steven gym leader.I recomend tis toy for 4 and up.This toy ROCKS!!!!!

I purchased one of these and one of the comparable pokemon virtual trainer packs for my kids (5&7) for christmas. I thought the comments from manufacturer about how children can enjoy dueling each other or playing by themselves sounded great, and both my little guys love pokemon.

I admit it...I'm NOT a pokemon master, so when the toys arrived I simply wrapped them and put them under the tree...didn't notice anything wrong and they actually looked pretty cute.

Christmas morning comes, kids open their gifts, love the pokemon sets, open the rest of their presents, then say " we don't have a battle arena to play with our pokemon trainers!". They were so sweet about it, but I could tell they were quite dissapointed.

Turns out theres a whole game system called a V-Trainer 2.0 Electronic Battle Arena that is necessary to play with these trainers!!!!! Yes, that red game system shown in EACH AND EVERY SINGLE ONE of the photos of these pokemon toys does not come with these, and is absolutely essential to play with this toy.

I've spent over a week desperately searching for every variation of v trainer 2.0 electronic battle arena, but still have not been able to find this product. If I actually do find it, whoohoo...my kids finally get to stop being dissapointed and get to play with the toy, but now I have to spend what?>>>> $ another $50 or $60 getting them each a battle arena?

The worst option is that I'm never able to find these battle arenas, and in that case these toys are as good as trash.


IN MY OPINION, THE AD FOR THIS TOY IS MISLEADING AT BEST.....I FINALLY LOCATED THE TEENSY TINY SMALL PRINT SAYING THE BATTLE ARENA ISN'T INCLUDED, BUT IT CERTAINLY ISN'T SOMETHING THAT THE AVERAGE PARENT WOULD KNOW....VERGES ON FALSE ADVERTISING, IN MY OPINION.

To make matters worse....I've called 2 of our local toysrus stores....they've never heard of the necessary battle dome. Search engine here doesn't seem to locate it.

If anyone has been able to locate this elusive battle dome, 2.0, please post it so I can finally give my kids the toy I thought I was giving them on Christmas morning.

Terrible terrible ad....read carefully, and if you don't have v trainer 2.0 electronic battle arena, don't bother. Might as well throw the toy in the garbage, which is probably what we'll end up having to do. Big big dissapointment for my kids.

kids of all ages will really enjoy this game.
