AWESOME TRANSFORMER! I am a Star Wars Fanatic
This transformer is cool to play with. Darth Vader Transformer. That is a genius idea. I play with it everyday. You have to believe it is fun. I just got it a week ago and it is in fantastic shape. Now, I told all my friends (all of them like Star Wars) to buy it. And of course, they bought it so, whenever we play, we have an army of Darth Vader Transformers. I think that is cool. This is a must buy!

Definitely a "collector's shelf" toyOverhaul is a very nice-looking toy, both as a Humvee-esque vehicle and as a Wolverine-esque robot. Unfortunately that's about all he is. Overhaul is jointed in a way which, while excellent for putting him in dynamic-looking poses for a display, is all but useless when it comes to actual play. (He can't even achieve the "stand perfectly straight with one arm pointed forward and the other down by his side" pose popularized by the nearly immobile early Transformers toys.) His gimmick is weak, too: apply excessive force to his "Cyber Key" in an unsuccessful attempt to get it to stay in the little slot on his back so you don't lose it, and he fires a missile THROUGH HIS OWN CHEST.
Overall, an unexpectedly weak toy among the veritable avalanche of awesome that is Transformers: Cybertron. If you have to have all the major show characters, I suggest you wait for Leobreaker.

The Autobot Brothers are finally together again!Transformers Alternators Sunstreaker is one of the most requested toys since the line began in 2003. Finally Hasbro and to demands of Customers and have released the Dead End mold in its true form. The G1 Autobot Brothers are finally together again.
Sunstreaker was originally supposed to be released in 2003, but Hasbro and Takara wanted to put some Decepticons in the line of updated G1 transformers, so Sunstreaker's body was recolored and given the name of the Stunticon Dead End. On Sunstreaker the bright yellow is reminiscent of the old G1 lamborghini. The black stripes on the body make him look like a pace car.
Transformation wise Sunstreaker is one of the easier transformers in the line. It may be a liitle hard at first but after a few tries it should come naturally.
Whether displayed in robot mode or vehicle mode next to his brother Sideswipe, Sunstreaker is one of the more striking figures in the Alternators line. An essential piece for fans of the Alternators line.

a good looking repaintIt's unusual that a repaint/upgrade mold of a character is superior to the original look, but in this case I think the streamlined color scheme of Galvatron (mostly silver, grey and black) makes the toy look much much cooler than the hodge-podge color scheme of Megatron (who used about seven different colors including purple, teal, orange)....
The silver plastic is also very shiny, almost chrome-like...a nice touch in lieu of actual vac-metallizing the toy....true the jet mode isn't so great, but the robot and car modes are solid and as mentioned before make the toy look much sleeker in auto mode due to the new coloring....

TF enthusiastGalvatron is the second coming of Megatron from he first half of the Cybertron TF series. Ah, TF reformats-some marketing genius bought himself an island in Dubai with the residuals from that idea.
I'm fortunate being a collector, in that I knew before the series was released in the US that Galavatron would simply be a repaint of the Megatron mold (thank you Japanese Galaxy Force). I skipped Megatron altogether and went directly to Galvatron-saved me a bundle. Galvatron's color scheme is much more fitting of a TF Commander (black, gray & red vs. Megatron's purple, orange & teal).
The shtick with Galvatron is that he has the capability of PowerLinking with Nemesis Breaker (to compete with Optimus Prime's ability to PowerLink with Leo Breaker). Nemesis Breaker isn't currently available in the US so I cannot comment on the combination of the two figures. Since I didn't purchase a Megatron figure this PowerLink feature may be the one real quantifiable difference between Megatron & Galvatron figures.
For those inflicted with children: Galvatron is will stand up to the usual mindless abuse they'll visit on the figure; plus with the lights and sounds they'll be giddy and drive you nuts. The directions will however perplex them so get ready to help them figure it out.
For Collectors: If you can find one, hurry and pick him up they've sold out in pre-order several times. He's a beautiful compliment to Optimus Prime, much more so than the Megatron figure whose coloring was apparently picked out by a drooling two year-old.

Your the Bomb Dark Scorponok I got Dark Scorponok for christmas he totally cool I love his scorpion mode or what ever it is he is just the collest. You should get him.
At last...Now, I love Transformers. I'm 16, and I just recently got completely into TF's in time for the Energon series. By the way, cool toys, bad show. Anyway, the first transformer I bought was energon Scorponok. Through all the rest of the energon line, he stayed my top favorite.
And now he's back with a vengeance! An awesome mold, now with some righteous colors and a cyber key thrown in for good measure.
The Scorponok mold is one of the most durable is existence. (Those of you with any vintage G1 toys that are still holding together, forgive me) Though I bought him first, he's still in the best shape. The mold is cool beyond comparison, except for a little lacking in the arm/shoulder poseability.
But he's got three modes, all of which are awesome. He is also the only transformer I have yet discovered that has a minicon peg, an energon star holder, and a cyber key thingy.
Anyway, he's righteously awesome. Thanks for reading.

The big,The bad,The SCORPONOK!I'm always having too much attention with Scorponok,he's allways going to others'personal space and attacking them, especially Megatron and Optimus. He's always showi'n of his muscels and good looks which ticks off especially Megatron. That's why most people gang up on him.Scorponok transforms to a hover jet and mechanical scorpion. He also has bigg'ol claws and a stinger full of electricity and raw energon. He's in my main ofice on top of a summit pumping himself up sayi'n;"I'm the best of all you weaklings!AH HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!!!And Megatron shall pay for dissing my master Alpha Q!All he wanted was to have back his planet and this is what he gets! You people sicken me!"He drives every one crazy! We'lp,gotta get goin!
as a non-kid, i officially agree with "a kid's review"looks great, interesting transformation, sounds are greatly improved from the deluxe armada figues, BUT!
i think the collector obsession with tight joints has gotten to hasbro's collective brain. the last couple of energon toys i got (scorponok and arcee) have both been TOO tight, by a lot, and with scorponok it's so much the case that some of his semi-detachable parts tend to come off during every transformation.
...but they pop back on easily enough, so it's not that big a deal.
i'm mostly a g1 fan, so i kinda wish he was a LOT bigger, but as it is now he's sitting in my office comfortably and threateningly holding arcee off the ground with one hand and scaring the crap out of starscream with the other.
neat.
oh, my other gripe is some minor difficulty in posability. his legs and arms aren't really as flexible as they might be, and he can't stand freely in robot mode with his tail up.

He takes a beating and keeps on ticking.I really like my Scorponok figure. I've heard several complaints about tight joints and the like, but I have no problem with them. Still not quite used to the "ratchet" joints that they're using alot more of in the mega and ultra figures. As for the poseability to these joints, I'd say it's relatively good. Overall a really fun toy if you can deal with the noises that go with it (take out the batteries if they bother you).

Evac a Big HitEvac was indeed a big hit with my grandson. As with all of the other toys in this line, it's well-made and durable. I highly recommend this toy. Amazon was just a little more expensive $[...], but I've ordered many items from them and can rely on their having it and fast mailing.
TF enthusiastMore proof that the Cybertron series has been devised by someone who obviously loved the Transfromers as a child.
The Evac mold is incrediblely unique in the TF world. The transformation is intricate the rescue helicopter mode looks like a model of a rescue helicopter. The robot mode is statuesque and has a vast amount of articulation. The detail in the design is incredible. Included are flip out missile launchers, a working wench & the propeller rotates at the push of a button in both helicopter & robot mode.
For those of you inflicted with children: This is a great toy and will appeal to children, but the transformation is a bit complex. I'd save this one for the older children in the target range provided. Younger children with probably snap of something important with repeated use.
For Collectors: I highly recommend this figure because it truly is a masterful mold. Unlike usual helicopter to robot transformations the cockpit doesn't make up the torso, it becomes his feet (unlike the Cybertron Buzzsaw the rehash of the Energon Cyclonus). Also, in the nice change from the norm category, the propeller becomes and spinning shield and sword in robot mode unlike previous helicopter-style TFs that end up with the useless propeller backpack in robot mode. Great detailing & he looks great behind glass. Go now, buy it, go now, buy now.

Cybertron EvacThe Autobot guardian of the Earth Cyber Key is Evac. A great toy with a lot packed into a medium sized transformer. His helicopter mode is pretty cool. It has a winch that lets down a hook and pulls it back up with the push of a button. A little peg can also be used to spin his blades. This mode is a very nice combination of a recue vehicle and a battle vehicle.
Transforming Evac is not too difficult, but it's harder than most other Cybertron transformers his size. Challenging, but not frustrating.
His robot mode is my favorite. Except for the helicopter blades that rest on his arms, and the winch on the other, you'd hardly guess he was ever a helicopter. His poseability is great, allowing for a wide range of movement and poses. His cyber key activates two rocket launchers of his back. Note: this also works in the vehicle mode.
Evac is an all around great toy. He has a fun vehicle mode, and a really cool robot mode. A great buy for his price.

backpack reviewpurchased for a little boy who had no Christmas and needed a packback this proved to create a more pleasant and hard working child in school
Wonderful BookbagThis bookbag came exactly as promised. My son LOVES it and its held up great, and he is a rough kid son his bookbag!
TRANSFORMERS BACKPACKI was so excited to find this backpack on Amazon because I couldn't find it in any store and my son loves Transformers. I ordered it and within 2 days it was on my door step. My son just absolutely loves it. The only thing I wish was different is I suggest maybe dimensions for this item because I my sons school that need a back pack big enough for an oversized folder. I was glad when I got it that it was big enough. Every thing else was fantastic. Thanks again.

The Medic with a Missile! After getting blasted by Megatron, Red Alert, along with Hot Shot and Scattorshot are revived by Primus, and are given new forms, and new weapons! They are then sent to Cybertron to get rid of all the Scrapmetal Terrorcons infested on it. Red Alert is really cool. He's now been upgraded two sizes larger to Ultra Class. While still retaining his medic position, (He now can heal anything!), he is now very heavily armored. He's got a missile almost as huge as himself! There is a smaller missile inside it that you can launch via Cyber Key. The big missile is lanchable manually. (As in, you take it off yourself and you hold it in your hand while it flies.) Red Alert still retains his hammer and and claw from the original, (Upgraded, of course. They look better, too.), but instead of being on his hand, Primus healed him and gave him what I call a multi-tool. It can be placed on both arms. Red Alert has two Mini-con ports in both Vehicle and Robot mode. He also has a dual cannon on his leg that can be flipped up. There are sounds too, in the missile. The instructions are pretty good but there are a few things. First, you don't have to remove the multi-tool before moving the arms, and second, the position they show for the multi-tool in the instructions, with the flip-out part on the bottom, is not anime correct, and will sag when the hammer or claw is placed on it. One last little thing that's really cool. The hammer has a spring in it for absorbing impact, or,(This is what I do), CAUSING EARTHQUAKES! Poseability pretty good overall. 5/5 One of the best in the Cybertron series.
Anyhoo, the best of this bunch by far is the Darth Vader TIE Fighter that converts into Vader himself... albeit a bit blockier than normal. Still, his look isn't nearly as blocky or oddly-proportioned as the other offerings in the Star Wars TransFormers line. For example, The "robot" form of the X-Wing/Luke Skywalker toy (www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000AX20RS) has these stubby arms. And Boba Fett, when converted from his vehicle configuration(www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000AYJ00M), has a bit of a beer gut goin'. And since I hated the prequels, I avoided the young Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Maul toys altogether. And so should you, if you've any whit of self respect. I'm kinda hopin' they'll put out a Jar Jar Binks transformer that changes into a big steamin' pile of bantha pudu, though... if ya catch my drift.
Anyhoo, the Vader figure also has surprisingly extensive articulation (poseability), so you can put him in a fairly wide array of action poses. I also like how the solar-panel fin part covering his left arm resembles a large shield; this extra touch really ups the toy's coolness factor a few notches. I'm not too big on the "cape" made from the other solar-panel fin, though.
My only real gripe with this bad boy is the head, which is a bit small in proportion to the body. Also, the head's relatively normal look clashes a bit with the blocky body. If it were up to me, I'd have had it match the body a bit better. Other than that, I wish the lightsaber accessories didn't fit in the hands so tightly. Overall, though, this is one merging of two beloved toy faves that I can really get behind!
Before I go, however, I gotta tell ya: this booger kinda makes me wonder if there might not be a Star Trek Transformers line comin' down the pike in the near future? I find such a prospect... fascinating.
