Very Dissapointed
I bought this because my Daughter loves the wiggles. My husband had problems trying to play the games. It is no way suitable for the age 3-5. It should be more like age 5 - 8. Oh but most children that age don't like the wiggles. Why didn't they just make it number recognition instead of addition. I frankly do not no any 3, 4, or 5 year olds who can add numbers beyond the 1 + 1 = 2. Game is just way to hard for the age recommended.

Well, at least they finally released it.

This was suppose to be released at least 1/2 a year ago, so the expectations are of course high on the highest paid Australian act today, The Wiggles.

The Vsmile system is a brilliant learning system that works to enhance + teach children in several areas, the one true strength of "The Wiggles: It's Wiggle Time!" is it's excellent teaching of Numbers, Math, Letters, Vocabulary & Colors.

The one true downfall of "The Wiggles: It's Wiggle Time!" is the difficult game play. First, the game is in NO WAY designed for a 3-5 year old! There is math involved here (addition) + the Learning adventure are near impossible for children 3-5 years old. Each of the four courses are long & involve careful thinking, otherwise you have a game over quite quickly.

Also a slap to the fan is the music, as the musical 'sound' is similar, but it is in no way a good substitute to the cheerful & quirky songs as played on The Wiggles TV shows or movies.

Still, this game is important to own as it teaches effectively for children, just not children 3 or 4, perhaps 5 and above.

A "Wiggly Great Time"
My 5 yr old daughter loves this game!!
She says it's almost as fun playing the game as she had when
she saw them in concert! She just loves Greg,Jeff,Anthony,
Murray and their friends. She quickly taught herself how
to play and really loves the games and silly songs that she sings along with! We only have a few V-Smile smartridges.....
but because they are very good quality...I see our collection
will have to grow...and soon!

Terrible
This game was awful. Not only was the speed of the bingo calling way to fast for my 8 year old, the dvd portion was very boring and monotonous. For that price and the technology we have today, this game was archaic and disappointing. Don't buy it unless you like boring things

Shrek Bingo is just ok
This is a fun DVD game for children who can recognize numbers, and can play regular Bingo. Different Shrek characters can be chosen to be the Bingo "callers."
However, the erasable markers that come with the set can be easily obliterated by a small child's hand resting on the card; the marks smear very easily. I think the game could be improved by having paper cards that could be marked in pencil or crayon.

Just ok
My 6 year old son received this for Christmas. It is a fun game, but it does go a bit fast for a 6 year old or even when playing with a group of people. We hit the pause button for every called number. The numbers are called out by one of 4 different characters... Shrek, Donkey, Fiona or the cat... and they each have their own different style, you pick. Every game the numbers have been random, there does not appear to have been a duplicate sequence. Now, as far as the BINGO cards go and the included markers... they are on the small side and the markers do not really write too well on the "erasable" cards. So, what we've done is photocopy the cards and enlarge them and we use our own Crayola markers. Then, once someone has SHREK BINGO, you hit the play button and a celebration for the winner begins (it is the same scene every time).

Overall, this is a fun game to play with a group of people or probably just by yourself. It may not be the best BINGO out there, but we're glad we got it as a gift.

    new skills
this game is a good introduction for the little ones to the more sophisticated vsmile games (4-6). some of the games are too challenging for a 3 (or even 4 or 5 year old)-like addition and subtraction up to 10! and in some of the games they have to figure out to use the little red button so spider man can use a web to jump over a big whole - just jumping won't do it. after i finally figured it out and showed my son, he could do it though. he also likes the grocery store part. he will tell me all the items that (he thinks) he needs and we go around looking for them. he is starting to figure out to find the cake and the bread together and the fruits together - so I think it is teaching him -if not about the foodgroups - just about grouping in general. he likes it, and that's most important. the animation in good. i don't think it is an easy or meaningful game for a typical 3 year old to play (as suggested by the suggested age from toysrus)but 4 and up it's okay, especially with a parents help.

My 3 yr old loves this game
This game is one of his favorite out of the 7 he has, I just purchased Bob the Builder which he loves too

My 3 year old loves it!
My 3-year old just got this game, and he LOVES it. Especially the grocery store part. Some other parts are a little challenging for him, but I know he will have it mastered in not time. Until he played this game, I didn't even realize that he could recognize numbers by sight, although he can already count. Very educational!

    Misled
I haven't used this item yet, but am quite upset that I had to purchase the "InteracTV" system from Fisher Price (sold seperately) w/o any notice from Amazon or Fisher Price. They're always quick to recommend other items along with your original purchase, yet failed to notify me that this item required an additional system to use the DVD.

    Also Lots of fun!
My son loves this one also.
After a month of having it he can do everything without me except handle the DVD. I still like sitting with him though.

    A Great educational toy/game
My 3 year old just loves this. Infact it has teached him so much that today while out shopping he started counting in spanish up to 10. It keeps him busy. I would recommend this product to everyone. It really does teach your kids. As far as the other people that mentioned troubles with programming it, i never had an issue. if you read the instructions you shouldn't have any problems. it's just like programming a remote control, cause that is what it is. Infact it has 3 settings on the back, so if you travel they can bring it with them. like to grandma's house and program each setting. like 1 for home, 2 for grandma's, etc....

    Another hit for Leap Frog
This is another home run for Leap Frog. My Three Year old loves this game. He even plays it buy himself. He knows the Characters well from the other Leap Frog products so he was comfortable with it right away. It is a great teaching product and I really think it would be an asset to your collection. The one thing I was disappointed with was the quality of the packaging. The board ripped in half and it does not store neatly. Other than that I give it an A+.

An instant hit with my 4-yr old
My 4-yr old daughter has seen the Letter Factory and 1st and 2nd Talking Words DVDs and has thoroughly enjoyed them as well as learning a lot about letter names, sounds and how words are put together. This game was an instant hit, though in truth it hasn't taught her anything new. What did impress me was that she took it out of the box and started playing without any adult intervention - the game is well explained verbally and each step of the game is spelt out well. She finds it entertaining and enjoys playing it alone or with me. The game is pretty quick to play and there is plenty of praise for getting things right and the usual LeapFrog method of dealing with a wrong answer, i.e. you found x, we were looking for y... Good value for money - I think it was a good buy.

    Love it!
What a great game for toddlers learning letters, counting, and colors! The game console tells you and your little one exactly how to set up the board and walks you through how to play the game. My 2.5 year old daughter loved it and caught on how to play right away. Can't say enough about this one!

MAG Interactive Villains of Gotham City TV Action Game: Batman
      Amazon base price: $
      Average review score:

      Batman interactive game
This game is very fun however, there are only 4 or 5 levels so after about the first day my kids lost interest. Each level consists of solely fighting 4-5 "bad guys". There is no opportunity to go out in search of items that will help you through out the game nor does it allow you to explore the levels in search of bad guys. Played on easy the game lasts about 10 minutes. I also noticed that the game started to freeze up in the middle of battle and had to be restarted. I must say it was a bit disappointing.

eh i could have bought something better for the price
this toy works. my 4 year old son got this for christmas. he has a lot of fun with it but it seems a little hard and in places, can get choppy. Eats batteries like crazy AND you'll end up losing the darn arm pieces . every part of this requires batteries! wait until it's on clearance or get an eyetoy for ps2
