I purchased this little fellow in Prague after being given the Dragon for Christmas. It's a remarkably detailed piece, with an amazing level of historical accuracy in the armor and armaments of the 14th/15th century. It's made of highly durable plastic, and overall it's rugged enough to withstand the rigors of entertaining youngsters. I bought several other members of the Schleich Knights series for my two nephews, aged 4 and 6, so there is minimal concern that the detachable parts could be dangerous for young children. The pieces come in two opposing camps: the Red Fleur de Lis, and the Blue Lion, and each piece has a corresponding piece in the other, with somewhat different design and graphics. Though the Red Camp shows arms and armor of the 12-13th Centuries (typically), and the Blue the arms and armor of the 13-15th, the Red Fleur de Lis and Blue Lion archers are identical, in this case. The level of detail, for this price, is actually quite surprising. Also, it appears some political sensitivity went into the crafting, as the Red Fleur de Lis corresponds more closely to the English armor and weapons of the periods, while the Blue Lion more closely refelcts the French, despite the switched heraldic devices.

Dangles is so soft, squishy and cuddly! We got this for our son when he was just a few months old. It quickly became his favorite snuggle toy. He is 1 year old now and MUST have his monkey to snuggle with in order to go to sleep. Unfortunately he likes to suck on his tail and it can get quite yucky. Fortunatley Dangles washes very well! I put him in the washer in the handwash cycle and then tumble him dry for about 90 minutes on fluff/no heat in the dryer and he is ready to go in time for the next nap! Although he is not as perfectly soft and fluffy as he was when we got him, what do you expect from a toy that can be washed in the washing machine and is constantly dragged around! I rated Dangles as 3 stars for educational value. You might not think a stuffed toy can be educational, but we think he is! When we ask our son where the monkey's eyes, mouth, nose and ears are, he points right to them. He gets his hands and feet mixed up, but he'll figure it out soon! We purchased an extra Dangles for Nana's house to avoid the crisis of forgetting to bring him along.

It's made of highly durable plastic, and though the Knight can be detached from the horse and the lance is also detachable, overall it's rugged enough to withstand the rigors of entertaining youngsters. THeese birds are amazing they are good for a kid who wants a bird and to identify them that way some one can know the bird call of these magnificent creatures so please put back the out of stock birds PLESE PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This doll is cute, but the hat will not stay on. This is irritating to me and my daughter. I actually threw the hat away because I was tired of seeing it laying around NOT on Dora's head.

My child loves Dora and was very excited to get this particular toy as he also loves horses and cowboys. The only problem is...the hat is too small for Dora's head and will not stay on! This is very upsetting for my son and he gets so frustrated by it that I have hidden the hat completely. I did try to glue the hat on, but it did not last. Why did they make the hat so small??

The doll itself is great. The hat doesn't fit on Dora's head AT ALL!!! Very frustrating for a 3 year old. Loose the hat before you give it to the child and save yourself one of those frustrated 3-yr-old fits.
