Cabbage Patch Kid Reviews

My daughter received this set as a Christmas gift. I was going to return it because I had already purchased the Graco set. We decided to keep it because we have two little girls and figured two different patterns would be great. I must say, the Cabbage Patch set is VERY well made. The quilting design is nicely done and it looks like it is going to hold up really well. The best part of it is the diaper bag. This bag converts into a changing pad by opening it up. When open, it maintains the main pocket that everything was placed into. This seems logical I know, but the Graco bag when it is opened opens into one flat piece. It does not keep any pocket, so whatever was in the bag goes all over the place. All in all, we have one of each set and my girls love them both. I just think the Cabbage Patch one (and I admit this grudgingly) is a little better designed. I highly recommend it. The only possible downside is that an older child might find the pattern too babyish. For us, it's great. It has greatly increased the amount of time my girls play with their dolls because it gives them a way to really feel responsible. They understand the concept of diaper bags, etc. and can relate. The ability to take care of their babies has somehow changed the babies from a toy that gets tossed after a little playtime into more of a member of the family. We can't leave the house without them now. Anyway, great set... we love it.

This bag has about as much storage space as a child's suitcase, but since it's a back pack it can be rolled or carried. When used as a backpack, there is a piece of material that covers the wheels so they don't get clothing dirty. On other rolling backpacks I have noticed that the straps can be attached to the bag so that the excess strap doesn't hang or drag on the ground. Unfortunately this bag doesn't have that feature so if you adjust the strap to make it shorter you'll have to tuck the end of the strap up to make sure it doesn't drag or get stuck under the wheels.

The front pocket offers room to carry additional items or you can place your Cabbage Patch Kid inside and buckle him/her in with the attached waist belt. This keeps the doll from having to be squished into a bag and also keeps hands free from having to carry the CPK everywhere. The only problem is, once the bag is weighed down it can tip forward causing you Cabbage Patch Kid to fall face first to the ground. I've tried packing the bag with and with out the doll inside and both ways, it tips over in a matter of seconds. The "feet" at the front of the bag need to be longer or wider to balance the bag's weight evenly with the wheels in the back. If I can just find something to attach to give it more stability this bag will be just right.

I love this backpack. My daughter is in preschool and she loves cabbage patch kids. I bought her a Dora backpack at the beginning of the school year and the zipper broke. A little girl in her class had this backpack, so of course my daugher had to have it. So I searched around and found it!! It is very durable and easy to clean. My daughter likes that it has wheels and that she can wear it like a backpack. It has alot of room inside about the same room as a childs suitcase. It is perfect to hold her art work and library book! Hope this review helps!!!

I bought this for my daughter, but she's too young for it right now. I couldn't beat the price that I ended up paying...

My daughter loved this set because it won't break and make her cry (like the porcelain sets) but the designs on the pieces are stickers, not painted on. That was a little disappointing to her. As a mom I love educational toys but that is not the reason you buy a tea set, this is pure fun. My daughter's kitten and stuffed animals have enjoyed many tea parties with her.

I just received these dolls for my children and there to cute for words! I plan on giving one to my son and the other to my daughter.

These dolls are so cute. Im very happy with this purchase, but the description says that they may not look like the picture, but will be dressed like the picture. Mine were were the opposite. They were NOT at all dressed like the picture, but the dolls' coloring was just like the picture. Im sure my daughter will love these dolls.

I ordered these dolls for a gift for my daughter's birthday. I was hesitant about not being able to select the way they look, but after reading all of the other reviews, I decided to give it a chance! After all, the price is great, I couldn't find them in stores, and even if I could, this is not an item I could sneak in the cart under my daughter's radar. When they arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. They're adaorable! I would have preferred brunettes, but the blondes I received are great!

This was a nice pattern and design for a cabbage patch clothes set--this fits regular sized doll--but the shirt is so tight on the doll, and so HARD to get on and off of it... the pants barely fit, and the fabric is so thin! I would not recommend this product. It is ok for 10 dollars, but just not worth the hassle to put on and off--stays in my daughters dress up doll kit and doesn't really get used at all.

This is one of the cutest outfits for a Cabbage Patch dolls. Its nice than the outfit that came with the doll. Washes well in the washing machine.

The little clothes are very cute. My daughter will play longer with her dolls now because she can change the clothes. These little outfits also fit the Cabbage Patch Babies even though they are made for the bigger Cabbage Patch dolls.

This was a LOT better quality and easier to use than the pink set; daughter actually plays with it, because it fits the doll and doesn't feel like it is going to tear the first time you put it on the doll. This is cuter than the picture states... there are two butterfly armbands for the doll that comes with this set, that work so cute in my daughters hair on her pig-tails.

I just received these dolls for my daughters Birthday and they are very cute indeed. When I first ordered the dolls I thought I was receiving the ones they show on the picture but instead received ones that looked totally different so I sent them back and asked for something similar to the ones pictured and they did just that. So thank you amazon.com for being so helpful. This is a great gift for any little girl or anyone young at heart!

5 yr old daughter loves her twin cabbage patch dolls!! she loves that they smell like baby and they wear real diapers....

they are very cuddly and very easy to put clothes on and off
