Nice, but appropriate age group is too high
Santa brought this for my 3 and 6 year olds for Christmas. Although they both enjoy playing it, the age for it should be lowered. It is not at all challenging for my 6 year old. I wonder now if ANY of the 6-8 games will be a challenge for my oldest. It's great for the 5 and under kids, but I will be have to upgrade to Leapster L-max or something for my oldest next Christmas.

V Smile Smartridge: Cinderella's Magic Wishes
If you've got a "Princess", then she's gotta have it!

excellent game
I purchased the v smile system as well as this game and my children
love it. They have played it about every day since Christmas. They are learning as well as having fun. It is a excellent choice.

Disney Princess - Beauty and the Beast Mrs. Potts Talking Tea Set

    cute but average
I can't even remember how many times I pulled up this toy and debated to buy it for my little girl.
Finally I broke down and ordered it for her 3rd birthday.Today.
It came and she took one look at it and it wasn't that impressive to her.
So go figure. I like it. BUT the color is not pure white as it looks on the picture it has a bit of a "dirty"white look to it.
The teapot is not as big as I had expected. The items itself are cute. No doubt about it. It will work great for Tea Parties with dolls and friends, but the items are not as big as I had thought and somehow when looked at in person not as impressive.
Sorry. The songs it plays ( for 3 seconds ) are okay.
It is a nice toy but not worth the price plus shipping.
The highest it should be marekted for is perhaps $9.99. And no more.
It is different and therefore unique. But not worth the money.
You can find some nicer tea sets out there for less or if you pay this much you get more for your money.
I would say leave it alone and focus on some other little tea set.
All in all a nice toy but not that impressive and my little girl did not even get that excited over it and she loves Belle and the characters.
There is just nothing special about this thing. Cute and yes it is durable but for the price not really amazing.

    Hope this helps.

GREAT toy! My daughters LOVE it!
My daughters play with this talking tea set ALL the time! The tops of the lids can break off with any 'rough' play, but they really are very durable. In fact, one of their friends decided to pour real water in the hole on the top of the teapot and after waiting a couple weeks for the residual water to dry out, it worked perfectly again! Doesn't need batteries changed very frequently either and not ridiculously loud. -Two definite pluses for parents!!

Super Sweet Teaset for any Belle Fan!!
I think this is just precious! My 3 year old LOVES Belle, and had a Belle Tea Party for her 3rd birthday - so I thought she HAD to have this! I also bought a different version that while cuter in may respects to this set, and says more phrases, Mrs. Potts in that set couldn't actually hold "tea" - but this set you can put liquid in the tea pot to pour. My daughter had so much fun with this at her tea party, and she loves it still!!! I am glad we purchased - with both the sets she had enought tea settings for all of her friends - and b/c they are plastic, no worries. She had a mini porcelean set with Belle, that has just the cups left, all the saucers met an untimely demise!!!!

    Disney Princess Sing Along Microphone
      Amazon base price: $
      Average review score:

      LOUD!!
This microphone is SOOOOOOO LOUD my daughter covered the speaker with her hand. I asked her why she was doing that and she told me because it was hurting her ears it was sooo loud! It plays a bit of three songs and you can't even hear your own voice when you sing into it. All you can hear is the misic blarring in your ears! Even if the misic is not playing, the microphone was not designed for singing into....that is if you wanted to hear yourself. My daughter uses it for pretend and doesn't want it returned. It is pretty and I guess you can't win them all! If you want princess toys don't expect them to work as you would expect, as they are mostly for pretend.

Cute but NOT worth the money...
And it is cheap so that is not saying much! I got this for my daughter and it is SO loud even she dislikes it. You can not even hear yourself sing along and again...the background music is too loud!!! Not worth returning and my daughter just uses it and pretend to sing into it! Could have given her a pink stick for that matter but it is kinda cute on the outside so when the batteries burn out...I doubt we will replace them. I am sure ( HOPE ) there are better, more workable, fun microphones toys out there for kids!? I will be looking...

      Not a bad deal
My 4 year old twins got this for their birthday. It only has three built in songs but they still enjoy it. They prefer to just hold the microphone button and sing their own songs. It is pretty loud though, not a quiet toy! Overall, a good deal.

          great busy toy
My 4 year old loved this phone. It's easy to take the covers on and off, she loves the princess themes. Each cover speaks as a different princess. I only wish we could keep track of all the covers!

Disney Princess Music Magic - Chirp N Chime Flute
            Amazon base price: $
            Average review score:

My daughter LOVES her "magic flute"
This is one of my 3 year old daughter's Favorite Xmas gifts.
It plays 2 songs, and is not annoyingly loud.
the little bird cirps along and moves as the flute plays.
            VERY SWEET!
It also has a "free play" that will play notes when she presses the various buttons.
She always comes back to play with this toy.
It is soley pressing buttons that makes the music.
My only complaint is that it doens not really come with a "songbook" IMO it is a kinda small paper pamphlet, that just will not last long IMO. and does not sit well on the stand.

            Cute but boring!
This is a very cute toy but did not hold my duaghters intrest for very long.It plays music and the little bird will periodically move his head and beak to chirp along and that's about it.I don't know what else to say except that is seems to be well made and there is a switch on the back that you are supposed to be able to change from it playing a song to a single note but ours did not change and would only play the songs.I reccomend that instead of this you get the keyboard it is way better and the flowers opening and closing on it are so cute.

                Garbage
This toy is garbage. My 4 year old recieved this as a gift and was so excited until we put the batteries in. The cash drawer was jammed shut and had to be opened with a screw driver. If you do not enter the correct mathmatical calculations, you get ERROR messages every time. This was so frustrating for my daughter that we threw it away. The minimum age for this toy shoud be at least 8 years old.

                Not for the specified ages
I gave this register its rating based on the specified age group which is definitley not apropriate. My bright, but easily frustated, four year old daughter received this as a gift and does not understand why it won't talk past the greeting and continues to beep ERROR at her. This toy acts as a real register, and unless your child can read, add and subtract, don't buy it. ie: FIRST you enter amount of item such as $17.00, THEN, choose cash or credit(ability to read required), if cash is chosen THEN enter amount equal or greater than $17.00,(if a lesser amount is chosen... ERROR),THEN press enter...this is way too big of concepts for a four, five, six, maybe even seven year old!

This would be a great parent child learning toy for the older child ready to learn such concepts, and I encourage parents with children in that age group to buy this toy. I'll put it away until my child is older, and I look forward to using it when she's in school learning these things.

As for those having trouble with drawer not opening...I did too, but my husband found a plate on the bottom of the register that read "remove before using". Now it works fine though it's a bit flimsey.

                "Hello Princess Shoppers!"-Wonderful Princess Fun!!
I couldn't disagree more with several other reviews of this toy. I bought this toy for my little girl a week ago and she hasn't stopped playing with it since! It is durable, compact, sturdy, and has lots of fun, hard plastic pretend accessories for her to play with: a lipstick, an eye shadow compact, a bottle of perfume, a bottle of lotion, a tube of hand cream, three paper boxes of tissues, bath beads and powder, and a plastic credit card to swipe and pay for it all.
That is of course unless she prefers to pay with cash, which is included as well. There are two sets of three coins which are fused together so they don't get lost and four paper bills in several denominations. The paper is thin, I agree, but if you pull it off slowly it doesn't tear. We haven't had any trouble with the money, the cash drawer, or the calculator functions. My daughter loves that the register speaks to you,("Hello Princess Shoppers!"), when you turn it on and off and when you are choosing the departments to buy from and the items to scan.
My daughter has only just turned four and the fun of this toy is in the pretending and scanning of the items. Items can be scanned either with a handheld scanner or a scanner bed attached to the register. Please note, the scanner just makes a sound it does not actually put a price into the register. That is for her to do. If you are looking for something more sophisticated then this is not the cash register for you. However, for a great role-playing and pretend toy this is wonderful. My daughter doesn't care if the items total up correctly. She has great fun just pushing all the buttons and feeling "grown-up." She also loves being able to swipe the credit card to pay for her purchases.
We have enjoyed this toy so much so that we bought it for a friend's little girl who was turning four-years-old. It was the hit of the birthday party. All the little girls wanted to play with this toy!

                Disney Princess Sport Pack

                  Pretty much worthless
Our 4 year old received this for a birthday present. The helmet is ok, except that the adhesive pads inside came off the first wearing (and the adhesive got in her hair - what a mess!). The knee and elbow pads are too stiff to stay on her knees and elbows. And they are just a plastic bubble. The first time she fell, the plastic shattered on one of them and made it worthless and dangerous for further use.

The big sell point was that it was pink and had the Princesses on it. Why can't Disney make quality products? They sure charge enough!

                  uncomfortable and painful
my three year old daughter prefers to fall and get scars than to use these pads. she says these pads are very uncomfortable and they hurt her. when she does wear them, she takes them out after two minutes.

                  Bad Buy
We bought the helment the size smaller than this for my 2 1/2 year old daughter when we bought her first Big girl bike 16". Anyways, the smaller size wouldn't even fit her head!! I don't think her head is big by any means. So we went and exchanged it for this. This one is just as bad. The pads are cool but, the helments adhesive came off the first time she wore it and the pads will scratch her if she isn't wearing pants and a long sleeve shirt! DONT BUY!
