I gave this bed to my eleven year old daughter and she still loved it! She didn't put dolls in it but her favorite stuffed animals! She puts the bed next to hers and believes that the stuffed animal who's "sleeping" in it is her room mate! All of you reading this review should really get a Laura Ashley Wooden Bed for your daughters! It's just the right price and is soo fun to play with! Not to mention the durability!
