This show has been shown on playhouse disney several
times. I have learned to hate these episodes, even though I
love Madeline.

We love the Madeline books and this is a solid take off. The 12 girls enter Geneivieve in the all Paris Dog show. Confusion ensues because Genevieve is a mut. Spunky Genevieve and Madeline save the day. Strong girl role models.

The resident dog of the old house in Paris is Genevieve. She can sing, dance, and an assortment of other amazing feats. Miss Clavel and the girls adore her, so it's obvious that she must be entered in the Paris dog show so they can prove she's the 'most wonderful dog in the world.' Unfortunately, the other contestants' owners don't think she should be entered because she's a 'mutt.' My daughter loves this as much as the other Madeline videos, but I gave it four stars because the music and story isn't as fun as "Madeline's Rescue" and "Madeline and the Bad Hat," which are my personal favorites.

"Have you learned your lesson, you naughty, naughty boy?" is my daughter's favorite Madeline song, because she understands that Pepito, the Spanish ambassador's son, hasn't been very nice to the animals in the neighborhood. Likely the best adaptation of the original Bemelmans book in this (Cinar) series of videos, "Madeline and the Bad Hat" tells the story of a lonely little boy who tries to get attention by being cruel and mischievous. He learns his lesson when one of his pranks go awry, and then realizes that being nice makes better friends than by being naughty. Highly recommended.

Madeline and the girls are surprised to see that, as Miss Clavel says, "his excellency has as BOY!" Well, his excellency's son, Pepito, does a lot of marvelous things: leads frogs around on strings, dumps poison on ants, and pops the balloons of little girls. He even carries a cat around in a bag, and lets it out amidst a pack of dogs!

As Madeline says, Pepito is a BAD HAT.

This hilarious story is about how Pepito comes to be reformed. It's got a lot of funny scenes, and there are many levels on which the story can be enjoyed.

The video has marvelous, enjoyable songs, also!

My two year old son asked to see this video over and over, and I finally bought a copy.

This is the best story from the animated Madeline series produced by Cinar Films and their subsidiary, Crayon animation. It might seem heresy to say this, but I think in this case the video is better than the original story by Bemelmans. There is action, humor, unexpected twists and simple but well done animation. I have watched it over and over again, and never tire of it. Children will love it and parents will find interest in it too, for there are several levels of interpretation in it.

I admit it, my fifteen-month-old daughter loves this movie so much that i have memorized all of the cute, catchy songs. the storyline is easy to follow for the older children, but the songs and animation alone are enough to entrance my restless daughter for the full twenty-four minutes. overall a great investment for any parent.

My daughter, 6 years old, loves this video very much. She watch the original language vesion(in english) every week. She has become intimate with this video series, she has read "Madeline" storybook in korean version, published in Korea, last year. I think, my daughter has become clever and brave like Madeline.

This is BY FAR the best of the Madeline videos! The music is phenominal! I find myself even singing the cute little tunes around the house! It is a must for all Madeline fans! In short, Madeline and Pepito get left behind at the carnival. They temporarily join the circus and realize it's not as fun as they thought it would be and soon become homesick. Don't worry kids, it's a happy ending!

My daughter got this for her 3rd birthday, she is a big Madeline fan. The doll doesn't even look like Madeline but is cute. The accessories are way too small for a 3 yr old to handle. Other than the elevator going up and down, there isn't much else to do w/ this set. The makers should have included another figure/character. I wouldn't pay for than $15 for this, not worth the money. The box that it came in is gigantic, the actual toy is small. Big plus is that the toy is carryable, everything stores inside. Overall, cute to look at but that's about it.

I bought this for my 2 & 1/2 year old daughter and she absolutely loves it! Her favorite part is putting Madeline (or other dolls) in the elevator and making it go up and down. There were a couple of tiny accessories that we've had to hide until she gets a little older. There is a little place where you can put all the accessories so that you can close it up without without having to worry about where to put them. It also has a handle on top so my daughter can carry it around where ever she wants to go! Great deal!

My daughter (age 7) received this for her birthday. She loves Madeline and loves the small parts in this set. The pieces are really cute and the Eiffel Tower snaps shut for clean-up.

I bought this doll for an autistic little girl. Assuming it was all soft and cushy and safe enough to sleep with. I should've used a little more common sense mayhaps? Because the brim on Madeline's hat is not all that pliable and quite firm. Overall, she's a cutey though and her bright red hair was the main attraction. Her mother thought she was sooooo adorable that she actually has put the doll up as a decorative piece rather than a play toy. Go figure!

I ordered this item for a friend's birthday who is a big Madeline fan. She absolutely loved it. It was a really nice product, made really well and adorable.

This is a well made, sweet, old-fashioned doll. If you're a true Madeline fan, I highly recommend this dollie. It's a breath of fresh air amidst all of the breakable, trendy toys of our day.

My daughter smiles at Madeline every time she sees her and she loves to hold her. This Madeline doll is the perfect size for my daughter to enjoy - and I must admit that mom enjoy's Madeline too. I have loved the Madeline books since I was a little girl and I am thrilled to get my daughter the Madeline doll.
