Mini Roboraptor

    Not What We Thought
My 8 yr. old son spent birthday money on this toy, because he was told it "did" things by another child. All it does is walk in circles on hard surfaces--not worth the $15 he spent. He was extremely disappointed and felt he wasted his money.

As my 8yo says "Lamest Toy Ever"
My son has always wanted roboraptor. I (and Santa) wouldn't buy it for him. so when he saw mini, he said he would buy it out of his own money. I let him. He (and I) thought it would be a smaller version of the larger toy... it isn't. It just eats batteries and moves its feet and turns around in a circle.

I think the company should be ashamed for using the name of an expensive and popular toy to fool kids into buying this toy. I bought one to give as a birthday gift at the same time and frankly, I had to return it because I didn't want to set the recipient up for the same disappointment that my own son went through.

On the plus side, my son is learning the valuable lesson that no matter how cool toys look on TV, they rarely turn out to be that great in real life. AND... the WOWEE company has ensured that we will not be wasting any more of our money on their very lame toys

A fusion of cute and personality pretty good for a small guy!
I bought this mini raptor as a companion for my green Roboraptor named Ripple he has yet to meet it. I think it's really cute the way he walks around especially if you put a small dino carcass in his mouth!! Yes, it's true he doesn't do much and he does have a tendancy to fall face down but, he'not that expensive! I find that he is still enjoyable and that's coming from a grown woman. I think that for a child they should be able to see one before they get it cause it could disappoint them if they think it's like the big one.

    Entertaining and educational
My 5 year old son likes dinosaurs but he's not ga-ga over them. However, he enjoyed this Pixter cartridge a great deal. The video of dinosaurs was good, and he was absorbed by the detail of dinosaurs life cycles, enough so to inform me that dinosaur eggs were as big as bowling balls and that stegosauruses ate anything. In general the Pixter graphics are cheesy and the capabilities of the device are limited, but my little guy loves it.

    Not worth the money
I received this toy for Easter for my Twins in thier baskets. I have to say that the nicest part of the toy is the three brightly colored balls. I am a big Fisher Price fan and I like the adjustable volume and the music is not too overbearing but the toy is not made well. The hoop attachement falls off way to easily (everytime) and having to re-assemble it each time its touched is annoying. With three small kids, I need a toy to hold up for play. It's not worth the money and I would not give this to anyone else.

    Not the best
We got this toy at Christmas when Ethan was 5 mos., he is now 10 mos. He likes to spin the side spinner but that's about all. I agree that the hoop falls off MUCH too easily and it was really hard to put the bottom pieces together. It seemed silly they weren't already connected. Ethan loves playing with the balls alone but not worth the money.

This is my sons favorite toy.
My son almost 7 months old and this has been his favorite toy for months. He can hold the balls in one hand (sometimes one in each hand) and has figured out how to put them in the basket. He also chases the balls around the room and loves to watch his daddy juggle them. He loves to hear the music and looks perplexed when he makes a basket and the toy isn't turned on! Yes, the top comes apart from the bottom occasionally but not everytime by any means. My son picks it up, pulls it around, and it stays put together. I got online to order another one for grandma's house and was VERY surprised to see such a low review.

    Pull & Spin Caterpillar
    Made by Fisher Price
    • The 2 body segments create lots of visual fun - one makes 2 Rounds twirl round and round in a circle while the other spins a single Round around
    • The Rounds are overtly graphic - one has a 2 color flutter within it, one has a mirrored surface and little bead balls, one has exterior and interior graphic patterns that interact as it rolls
    • As baby pulls on the yellow string, the cute caterpillar character rolls, it's eyes go up and down, and the antennae wave side-to-side bringing him to life
    • Part of Roll-A-Rounds Collection
    • Age Range 6 to 36 Months
    Amazon base price: $12.99

    cool toy
This is a very cute toy. When it is pulled it's eyes and ears move up and down. My [...] only might like it more than my [...] The balls fall out to easy though. When it hits a turn the balls usually fly out, and I don't like that. When I bought it, it looked like there were plactic covers that went over the balls. It turned out they were not part of the toy, but it would be a good idea. We have a huge collection of the roll-a-round balls and peek-a-blocks. They are really neat toys.

    Wonderful pull toy!
Our daughter got the pull and spin caterpillar for christmas (she was 9months at the time). At the time she wasn't able to pull it but loved to chase the caterpillar as it was being pulled. Now at 12 months she is able to pull it herself and loves putting just about anything on the back of the caterpillar.

The toy it self has a very cute face and when pulled the eyes and ears move up and down.

The only problem with the caterpillar is the pull string. It is very small and thin allowing it to slip through little hands while trying to pull it.

Overall a wonderful toy, not only for the balls that come with it but for anything else that your little puts on it!

Great fun for 14 month old
My 14 month old daughter LOVES this toy. She spent the first night walking it around the house singing to it. Even my 4 year old thinks it's cute. It has a happy little face, has a great turning radius, and makes a great first pet. She puts smaller stuffed animals on it's back and gives them rides, too. Pretty cute, for the money. If your child likes balls and pull toys, this is a winner, especially for the 12-18 month crowd.

    Junior Hoover Upright Vacuum
    Made by CDI
      Amazon base price: $
      Average review score:

Great imitation of the real thing, but with serious design issues
We just bought this vacuum today from Toys R Us for our 13 month old son who is *obsessed* with vacuuming. He LOVES this toy and seemed very appreciative of our purchase. In fact, because of his age I'm not sure if he even realized that this isn't the real thing! However, there are some serious design issues with this vacuum.
      Two caveats:

      1) What other reviewers say about the plastic door covering the attachments is absolutely true. It doesn't stay closed, and the attachments just fall out- very poor design! Do the people who design these things ever actually touch them? Because a light touch is all that is needed to knock the case open and dump the attachments out. We'll probably keep this taped closed in the future.

      2) On our vacuum, the two halves of plastic (front and back) that join to make up the handle do not line up properly (which we couldn't tell until we took it out of the box). My husband was able to pry the halves open and inspect it with a flashlight, and found that a hole where a small piece of plastic was supposed to fit in was deformed. We then pushed a screwdriver into the hole and wiggled it around to open the hole, and the problem was solved solved for the most part (the gap between the two halves is much smaller).

Overall, this toy is a total piece of you-know-what. I would have much rather paid more for a sturdier toy. However, I still think it is worth every penny because of the pure unadulterated joy on our son's face as he walked around "vacuuming" our living room. I would absolutely recommend this to parents of children who are really fascinated by the grownup vacuum, because this is a very realistic substitute.

      lots of fun!
We bought this vacuum for my son when he was just 2. He loves it and still plays with it now - almost a year later. We have replaced the batteries once. Unfortunately, we have lost all the attachments and the plastic cover and blue cover... but he still gets it out anytime i vacuum. I'm on here to get another one for my younger daughter.

A hit with my four year old!
My daughter loves her Hoover. I got it for her for christmas. She pulls it out whenever I'm cleaning to help me. I haven't had any problems with the door breaking and my little one breaks everything. She's had it for 6 months now and she uses it several times a week.

      This is the cutest toy!
My daughter just received this ship in the mail from her Uncle and it is darn cute! Her grandmother purchased the noah's ark toy for her when she was one and she continues to love that toy even now at 4, wow! This pirate ship is really going to last us since we have 2 more kids to wear it out! Actually, my daughter knocked out early tonight so her brother sat in the corner fiddling around with it for a looong time. Its very cute, makes several neat sounds including ocean and seagulls and comes with 3 lil people (well one parrot) so I was able to give each one of our kids something to play with when we ripped it out of the box! Great investment because I swear that noahs arc toy way 5-10 dollars more!

      Fisher Price Does it Again!
Wow! Way to go Fisher Price! With three children under the age of four, we have yet to be disappointed with any Little People purchase. The ingenuity, the products and the details are always above and beyond! Our 4 year old son had been asking for a pirate ship. With not many to choose from, we were worried we were going to have to purchase a Playmobil that contains too many pieces for our son as well as are too small for our other little ones to be around. Imagine my surprise when I came across this pirate ship! Our son plays with it for hours upon hours and loves the accessories pieces just as much. Thanks again for making playtime at our house fun and enjoyable! "Arrrrr Matey!"

      Good choice.
My 2 year old son has grown to like anything with pirates in it. I had a hard time searching for things he likes. I just happened upon this toy while browsing the store. He absolutely loves it! He wouldn't let it out of his site when I brought it home. He hasn't lost interest in it at all.

F.A.S.T. Stainless Steel Ball Bearing YoYo: 201 Series (Green)

        Its awesome
If you want to learn how to yoyo very well i would recommend you to use a fixed axle to get the basic 10 tricks down before you use something that can sleep for a long period of time. When you do use something that can sleep for a long time first you dont get the trick down so that you can achive it faster. This is an intermediate yoyo and takes time to use the starburst and to set it right. This is not for a beginner becasue its a little delicate

        awesome yoyo
This yoyo is the best I ever owned and i'm a beginner,i'm sure there are btter yoyos out there, but not for this price. My advice is,if your a beginner buy it!

        This yoyo rocks
it is a very good yoyo for beginners but i am a pro at it.

          Best Yo Yo Ever!
I bought this yoyo a while ago and thought it was a bit pricey, but I saw the commercials and I had to get it. It is such a great yoyo! A couple minutes after I got it, I could already do tricks! I sleeps such a long time and could also be a begginers yoyo. Just make sure you read the instructions. They teach you everything you need to know.

          The Perfect Yo-yo
I recently purchased this yo-yo. When I first saw it, I thought it might be an O.K. yo-yo; like one of those Speed Beetle yo-yos. When it came, it was amazing. It sleeps for about 2 minutes with a strong throw. I could do many tricks with it such as walk the dog, rock the baby, the rocket, loop da' loop, and many more. I don't reccomend this yo-yo for beginners, but if you are good at yo-yoing, I strongly reccomend this yo-yo.

          THIS YOYO ROCKS
I purchased the red stainless steel ball bearing yoyo. It is the best yoyo ever! I timed it to see how long it would sleep. It slept for 2 minutes! All I can say is that it's the best yoyo ever!

              Quality but costly
Bought 2 of these for my grandsons. They love them and play with them daily. But I saw the same item at walmart for 1/2 the price.
