laugh and learn puppyMy daughter loves the laugh and learn puppy, the only problem is the bone that lights up doesn't work any more.
Laugh & Learn Learning PuppyThis is the cutest educational toy in the world!!
It teaches numbers, colors, letters, etc.
It also sings!
This toy also entertains me!
Where was this toy when I was little?!

EXCELLENT toyI purchased this doll for my 11 month old daughter less than a week ago and she can't get enough of it! She loves to see the dog bone light up, she gets a kick out of the songs and expressions, but most important of all, SHE CAN ACTUALLY MAKE IT WORK. I have lots of other toy dolls that play music and light up for my daughter, but this is the only toy that she can make work by herself. The sensors are sensitive enough to allow her to be able to squeeze the body parts and make the doll work on her own. I love this product-- we carry it everywhere we go now because she won't put it down!

This was my daughter's FAVORITE toy! This was the best $12.99 ever spent! From the time my little was born until now (she's 10 months old), Freddie has been her favorite toy. I love that I can hang in on the stroller and it's a lifesaver when trying to entertain her in the carseat. There are alot of things to stimulate your little one's mind, between the sounds, textures, colors, and mirror.
I recommend this highly!!!

PERFECT TOY for 6 month oldMy daughter loves this toy - I actually got this from another mom and she had never used it, so I took the advice of one of the mom's reviews on here and washed Freddie. He washed so well! And now my daughter will not let go of him. He's a safe teething toy too. Great for the car.
Great take along toyWe received this as a gift. Our daughter loved it. Great infant toy. She gnawed on this poor thing until she was 15 months old and it still looks good. Easy to clean with damp cloth.

"I Do..." Like This MovieTim Burton returns to stop motion animation in "The Corpse Bride", a tale about the world of the deathly dull living and the lively dead, set in Vicorian era England.
Victor (voiced by Johnny Depp) is arranged to be married to Victoria (Emily Watson), so that his family may gain a title from hers and that Victoria's family may gain some money from Victor's, as they're broke. Being Victorian era England, corsets are tight, colours are drab and life is very strict. Everything for the upcoming wedding must be perfect. The local church pastor (Christopher Lee) has special vows for the couple to recite, and he, as well as their parents, are determined they get them exactly right. After humiliating himself at the marriage rehearsal, Victor wanders out of town into the dark forest to learn his vows properly. Role playing with the trees and twigs, Victor masters these vows, and confidently slides the ring onto what he believes to be a dead branch. But it is not a dead branch he has given his vows and ring to, it is a corpse of a bride named Emily (Helena Bonham-Carter), and she has taken his rehearsal very seriously indeed. As far as she is concerned, they are now married, and she whisks poor Victor away to the land of the dead, a world full of singing, dancing skeletons, spiders, green maggots, and blue faced corpses. Meanwhile, in the land of the living, a mysterious Lord Barkis Bittern (Richard E. Grant) has arrived on the scene, and wants Victoria to be HIS bride. Will Victor escape the world of the dead, and if he does, which bride will he marry?
For stop motion animation, the film is incredibly slick. Every movement flows, and there are no jerky movements, which is usually a characteristic of stop motion (of the earlier stuff anyway). The look and Danny Elfman's score for the piece are typically Burton. I found Elfman's songs a little easier to digest than his ones for "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", which was nice.
I was pleasantly surprised by the casting of the film. There's Joanna Lumley (from British sitcom "Absolutely Fabulous") who plays Victoria's mother. There's Michael Gough (Alfred from the Burton "Batman" movies, and the Celestial Toymaker from "Doctor Who") as the skeleton Elder Gutknecht. Deep Roy (from "Big Fish" and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory") sneaks in too, as the Napoleon-esque skelton. But my favourite of the bunch is British character actor Paul Whitehouse (from "The Fast Show") who plays several roles: Victor's father, Mayhew and the "Head" Waiter. He's also in "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" as Sir Cadogan, if you want to keep an eye out. I really hope he does some more films, he's a very funny guy.
Special features include a selection of making of featurettes, which contain not only Tim Burton's words on the film, but some behind the scenes footage and the words of several of the actors and crew, as well as Danny Elfman, who did the music and songs. There's no interview with Paul Whitehouse though, which was a shame, but you do get to see him in the "Voices Behind the Voice Featurette", where you get to watch selected scenes of the film and the actors voicing them in the studio simultaneously on the screen. Its interesting to watch, because sometimes a single line of script is edited from several takes (particularly Johnny Depp's, I noticed), and the footage of the actor in the booth jumps about.
There's also an original theatre trailer, a production gallery (that is, a montage of stop motion tests for the characters, among other things), and a music only track for the film.
Recommended for lovers of Tim Burton and of animation. To "The Corpse Bride" you'll soon say "I do... like this movie".

Brilliantly MacabreThis is a darkly funny film. Although not quiet as light hearted and clever as its predecessor Nightmare Before Christmas, but it was quirky and cute all the same.

Cars (Leapster)
Made by LeapFrog
- 4-6 years
Amazon base price: $24.99
Average review score:

Big hit in my house! My kids had all but stopped playing the Leapster when my 4 year old got this Cars cartridge. Both he and my six year old love playing the driving game. They played it all the way to the mountains 2 hours away! It's a good choice for the Leapster.
a grown up game nutlove it its a fun game and its actually not as easy and simple as a lot of leapster stuff...but like all the games it is fun but also it takes timing and patence which is makes this one educational to the kids out there it has its academic parts, numbers, shapes patterns ect. but also teaches a couple of valuable life skills such as presistane, timing, patence and finishing what is started....awsome all around game. i do recremend this to children and to the grown ups that still like to have fun happy gaming
Ka Chow and off to LEARNING!My son is 4.5 yrs, loved the Cars movie and now loves this Leapster game cartridge. I had to pry it away from him after 3 hours of playing on the day he got it. It is a wonderful learning tool for kids 4-6 who are working on letters, words, spelling, phonics and numbers. The games are really fun and exciting, the characters have authentic voices from the movie, and there are multiple games to play. I would give this game cartridge an A+, worth the 24.99 I payed for it. If you have a child who loves Cars, they will love this! I even enjoyed playing the tractor tipping game as I raced down the track as "L. McQueen" and watched in my rear view mirror to make sure "Frank" wasn't on my tail.
Another great cartridge is the Letters on the Loose.
Have fun and Ka Chow!

My First Purse

Great for the priceThis purse is very sturdy and works well for a girl age 2-3, if you don't mind the overtly girly aspect of it (e.g., lipstick and compact). My daughter drags it around outside and in, and it holds up well.
We like itOur 19 month old enjoys playing with this purse. She enjoys the purse itself, the cell phone, and the lipstick the most. The mirror, keys, wallet, and credit card aren't played with much. The only complaint I have is that she is unable to open the wallet on her own. Trying to open the wallet frustrates her to no end--it's hard for a young toddler to have the dexterity to open such a thing.
fun purseMy daughter got this purse for her second birthday, she loves the lipstick and the keys. great toy great price

Greatest gift ever!!!My father-in-law is an eccentric man who is very difficult to buy for. He has been disabled for sometime and was absolutely fascinated by the games on his cell phone. I was looking for something in that vein and thought this may do the trick. HE LOVES IT!!!! He very rarely stumps it and sometimes it makes him belly laugh. Even better is the side effect my mother-in-law gets--- occasional peace and quiet!! Greatest buy ever!!
A Fun New Toy On The Market!Wonderful toy.
I played the game when it was on the Internet back 3 to 5 years ago. (and it's back - [...])
I would think of an object then go through the 20 questions several times using the same object to see what questions it would ask. Many times the start questions determine if my object will be quessed in 20 questions (+/-5).
Great fun using your imagination thinking of out of the ordinary animals or objects then going through the questions.

Leaky and unstableIn theory this is a great toy, but the truth is that the water sides leak, so put this outside where you don't mind a watery mess underneath it. The table merely "rests" upon the legs; the legs don't snap into the table, and the table isn't steady on the legs. The umbrella shaft is too short, thus making the umbrella very low, and children bump into it. I had to get a 4 foot length of PVC pipe to lengthen the umbrella shaft. If you don't mind the leak, it's a great toy. My kids love it, and it's in the yard where the leak doesn't matter. You can get this at Menard's for $49.95, but check the packaging. The umbrella was broken in the first one we bought, and I had to exchange it.
Great Water Play Fun! Splash and exploreLight Weight and easy to set up. The umbrella didn't last long and rusted. The table after 2 years got a hole or crack and the water doesn't stay in for very long. We loved it when it was new.
Not bad...This table is cheaper here than anywhere else i've seen it.
My children really enjoy it. It arrived pretty quick and the set up wasn't too bad. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is during set up my husband noticed that the legs didn't fit properly in the holes. The water kept leaking out, had to remove legs and force it in hard for a tighter fit to stop the water from leaking out. Other than that, my kids love it. My five year old loves to play with the sand while my 14 month old loves to splash in the water. It's also comes with a couple of boats and some cups to play with.

Easy to cleanI purchased the water table and sand table separately because I knew that my 3-year old would not be able to resist mixing sand and water. I don't blame him. I liked this water table because I could just dump out the dirty water when the kids were done and refill it with clean. That would be hard to do with a combination table. The kids love the water wheel that turns and the ramp for the boats. The only fault that I can find with it is that the legs are really short. It sits low to the ground even for a 3-year old. They usually just make do with it or sit ina couple of plastic chairs while they play. Over all I think it is a good purchase for water play.
The water table was a hit!My Grandson loved the Water Wheel. He had so much fun. I recommend this toy for any one year old that enjoys playing in water.
Great first water table!I love this water table and the colors are so cute and remind me of the sea!
My son got this for Christmas from Dranny (Grandma...don't ask), but didn't get to use it until about two months ago as it was at her house in another state.
The very first day he played with it he splished and splashed, had a good time, and got SOAKED! :)
Accessories included are:
Water Wheel
2 Sailboats
1 Pouring Cup
It does feature a plug.
My only gripe about this table is that there is no cover...as with most other water (or water and sand) tables. I always feel so wasteful when he only plays with it for maybe an hour and then I have to dump it out until the next use. Of course, you want to dump it if you aren't going to use it for a while, but with a cover you could get a couple of days of use from it. You're forced to dump it because we all know that dirt, grass, and other random plant-life or bugs make their way into bodies of water.
So, that is my major complaint. I also wish that the water wheel was attached or clipped in somehow as my little man thinks it's funny to throw it off the deck or in the yard somewhere causing me to have to run and get it every bit or so.
I also recommend trying this table with sand. Sure, it says it's a water table, but there is no harm in putting sand into either or both of the sections.
Recommend!

HorribleThis game is horrible. My friend bought it for me (who loves it) I asked him to play with me. He taught me how to play it was confusing. I kept putting it in the wrong places because I don't know where to put it. It is a horrible game and I do not reccomend it to anybody. In 5 minutes I said "I`m done this game is really really stupid. So there is my reveiw hope someone agrees with me.
Really great game for all ages!I only bought this game because it was recommended to me time and time again. It looked boring and simplistic, but I figured there must be something I wasn't seeing. And there was! It is a great game! All of my kids can play it and challenge each other and me. This game does not necessarily favor the oldest(and supposedly wisest?) player. My seven year-old can beat the pants of me.
It also gets the brain working in non-traditional ways. You have to look at the grid in unique ways. The pieces aren't lined up in rows and columns like most games. You connect pieces by the corners. So sometimes you can connect a piece in an area that looks like it is totally bocked by your opponent.
And of course there is the strategy... I still haven't decided which is the best piece to start off with.
The game also takes a nice length of time, not too long and not too short.

FUN and very differentThis game is easy to learn in a few minutes. My 4 1/2 year old son learned the rules quickly and could play with me the first try. Becoming an expert is much harder though! The game is different each time we play, and always challenging and fun. Best of all Blokus isn't like any game I've played before. You have to plan ahead like chess, but the game changes so fast you're always changing your strategy on the fly. Blokus can be played very quickly with a young child, or at a more thoughtful pace with an adult or older child. All in all Blokus is great, and ADDICTING the way a good game should be.
