It is a little hard to master some of the moves, making it a bit frustrating for my 10 year old son and his friends to get past some of the training modes. However, with a little perserverance, and the some "new eyes and hands" to help figure out the moves, they can "crack the code".

This game is also, as others have said, a form of exercise for the kids (as well as for me, when I have tried it!). Their faces are flushed when they ascend from the basement after conquering a new level!

One thing we have noticed is that the handle of the light saber as a couple of plastic ornaments that protrude and can hurt after a while. There doesn't seem to be a way to remove them either.

All in all, a great toy.

My two sons (ages 8 and 10) just love this toy. It is better than a video game because it requires physical activity. They've played with it consistently for over 6 months now, with no problems. At first it is a little difficult to get used to, but with diligence, they were able to master the game in a couple of months.

I like that it isn't so simple that it can be mastered in a day or two. The challenges last and provide on-going entertainment. We do NOT work for Hasbro - this is a great toy.

I obtained this game last week for my son and two daughters. They loved it. The sword is small compared to regular sabers but you can really have fun. This tv game uses Xavix technology in order to function properly and lets you face notorious dark side enemies like Emperor Palpatine, and the other evil men. I love Star Wars so I took a few swings at the television screen. Which got me excited is that you can be side by side with other jedi Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon etc. You finally have a game that will get you away from your game boy for maybe a week or two. As this game focuses on your ability in order to really make this game fun! You should know before getting this that is only for ONE PLAYER ONLY. I am going to finish the review, so I suggest that you should buy this for StAR Wars FANS

My kids (ages 3 and 5) like this Marble Run, but they really can't build the structure very well by themselves. I have to build it for them and then they play with it for a while. Unfortunately, this model doesn't have very stable "bases" upon which to build. I've seen other brands which are much more stable and easy for kids to build upon. Perhaps this model is better for older kids.

My 8-year-old grandson was super excited when he opened the Marble Run Vortex at his birthday party. He said, "I've *always* wanted one of these!" He built all the different formations the next day, before he played with any of his other gifts. It was a hit!

We gave this to my 3 year old for Christmas and he loves it. We have to build the tower for him, but he's been playing with it ever since. It's great because it's not too fragile. Unlike some toys when gets excited and bumps into it, it may fall over, but it doesn't fall apart. So less rebuilding on our part. The only concern is that we also have a 1 year old and she wants to put the marbles in her mouth all the time so we have to watch out for her. But other than that it's great.

Monopoly is a game where you buy properties that have been mortgaged by the owners, and you must buy them for a ****load of money. It is absolutely the best board game series ever made.

This game is a terrific new version of the classic. All the same rules apply of course, but if you choose, the game comes with instructions for a Star Wars twist! I won't tell you what it is, but I will tell you it has something to do with the dice. The game comes with eight character tokens (four are good guys, four are bad guys) and a blue die and a red die. The colors come in handy when playing the star Wars version. You buy and trade for planets. You buy settlements and citys instead of houses and hotels. I think it's great fun! Although I've lost every game to my little brothers! Oh, and for all you big Star wars fans out there, the instructions come with a translation guide for the Star wars galaxy Aurebush language. It helps you to read the words on the "Republic credits". All in all it's a great game, so get out there and play! May the Force be with you!

Monopoly is just a wonderful game. The classic version after 70 odd years is still just a great game. You can sit down with friends and have a wonderful time and the game is great for everyone from five and on. once a child can read monopoly is a great way to introduce them to the concept of money in a fun way. and it is just a blast to play. Even when your opponet gets upset and upends the board.

Sponge Bob helps your child learn without even knowing it. It keeps there attention. It is good to work with your child so they get the most out of it.

I highly recommend this Spongebob cartridge for the Leapster system! My little boy is a big spongebob fan and on Christmas morning he got from Santa a leapster and some Leapster games, of course Spongebob is one of his favorites. My little boy is almost 4 and he completely understands each game included on the spongebob cartridge and in the 3 months we have had this game he is already going to higher levels with the game. It teaches while letting your child have fun and that is what is the most important, if your child is having fun while learning they will continue to keep learning!
This spongebob cartridge teaches the values of money, colors, music game and more. The voices sound the same as on the cartoon and it keeps my little boy intrested in playing it still after 3 months he plays this game on a daily basis!
I would suggest this leapster cartridge for all!

This game is very exciting for my son, he is five, I am teaching him to read his blends and this is a great reinforcer. I enjoy watching him do the math (one with the coins) as well as watching him make words.

This is a scary toy. I was playing with it, and it tried to kill me. But I still love him!

My five year-old daugther wanted this Barbie computer Christmas after receiving the younger Barbie computer for her 3rd birthday. She did not get it because it seemed expsensive but bought it herself with her Christmas money. She loved it from the start. She likes the games and the Spanish on it, too. She loved the mouse at first but then realized that it doesn't travel as well as the ones without a mouse (needs a solid surface versus using it in the car, airplane, drs office). The screen could be larger of course. She finds some games a challenge to figure out the rules and how-tos but overall loves her computer. She is very pleased with her purchase and I think she will be playing it for a couple years. The games are good for the ages 5-8 range.

My 6-year old daughter AND her friend got one of these for Christmas. THEY LOVE IT!!! It has tons of learning games and 5 levels on each game. I can't tell you how much this has helped her reading and writing skills. Once you complete a level, you get a "prize picture". I've been looking all over for the expansion cards because she noticed that they have a slot for them. I have had no luck. I would HIGHLY recommend this product.

I love this toy so much! The screen isn't too small, it's quite big actually! It has a crystal clear LCD screen display and when I was first given it 3 years ago, (I was 3 then, now I'm 6) I hated it because whenever Barbie (I am and was the No.1 fan of Barbie!) came on screen, the laptop wouldn't let me dress her or style her hair but now I'm 6 I can just go on to the Art program on here and design gashions for her. I can take my very own Barbie laptop everywhere! Barbie comforts me by saying I'll do better next time when I do badly on a game and when I do good she praises me and makes me really happy! My brother Macie age 5 got the Hot Wheels laptop and we play on our laptops together and our parents Sara and Tom, think we're sweet when we play on them. Anyway, back to the subject, after 3 years the toy laptop has stayed together fine. Now I've got to go because I want to play on my Barbie laptop!

What can you say about an engine who manages to get cheerful little Toby mad at her!

Mavis is a young, feisty diesel whose inexperience frequently gets her into trouble. That said, she *is* learning; and certainly after she shows her usefulness, she becomes one of the crew. (Even though she is a Diesel they don't hold that against her.)

Like all of Thomas' friends Mavis is sturdy and a great pal. She is also very useful in the development of 'made up' Thomas tales.

In appearance Mavis is black with the yellow markings around her square face. In addition, and for reasons unexplained, she has sidebars and a cow catcher which is certainly not standard quarry attire. It does mean, however, that she can substitute on Toby's line from time to time.

Four stars. Mavis is a nice, second-string engine.

If your child enjoys acting out the Thomas & Friends episodes, Mavis is a black diesel engine with yellow stripes around her face who works in Toby's quarry. At first, the quarry manager would not let Mavis go out much, but when she saved Toby from falling off a bridge, the quarry manager decided to give her a second chance. She and Toby are now best pals and work together to get the troublesome trucks in shape at the quarry.

To expand the fun of Mavis, you can get the quarry mine tunnel and send Mavis for the ride of her life. If you need an engine to help Toby with the work in the quarry, I recommend getting Mavis.

My boys love Thomas and all his friends (and I like that Mavis is a lady engine but is really tough). Mavis gets played with often and in general she is, as most all of the Thomas line, durable. However, her black paint seems to chip off more easily along her edges than with the other engines - could be it just shows up more because of the color. I say it shows that she is loved when my sons ask why her paint is chipping, but you might warn your kids to be extra careful with Mavis. Otherwise, she's a lot of fun.

I Love this! It is the Coolest Thing Ever! She comes with evrything you need for a day at the Salon!All it needs is 2 AA batteries to work! Then her hair glows for about 30 seconds. To make it last longer, brush her hair and insert the back of her head into the chair. (There is an opening in her head with a button inside of it)
