great for traveling and storageThis makes the My First LeapPad SO easy to just grab and go. It also helps the games and books not get lost, to stay organized, and even to stay in better condition than if they were sitting around the house getting dust/etc in them.
It's not very expensive anyway, so I would totally recommend buying it to go with the set! We love it.

Great! This backpack is better than the original one for the My First LeapPads. This goes with the new school bus LeapPad. It will hold the LeapPad plus at least 4 books/cartridges. A must-have if you don't want all of the accessories all over your house. This keeps everything together in one place. Great for traveling too.

Great party gameMy friends and I have been playing this games for years. The rules are simple, the play is quick, and the perks and penalties add to the fun. Our Great Dalmuti has a tall top hat to wear and a leather armchair to sit on. The Greater Peon has a pathetic floppy cap and a hard stool. We have been playing with the German version, since that was the only one I could find back then. I'm glad the English version is back in print.
VERY fun game! This game is SO fun!!! I played it a whole lot back when it first came out about 10 years ago. Wore out the cards! It's best with 5 to 8 people, so it's not one that you'll just be playing with your sweetheart, but it's absolutely a BLAST when you have 5 or more. It's simple - VERY simple. Luck is required but a little (LITTLE!) bit of strategy comes into it too. The rounds are over very quickly - probably about 5 minute rounds, and the seating order changes each round based on who goes out first. Go out first and you're the "Great Dalmuti" the next round. Take your choice of the best chair, make everybody pay you tribute! Especially "The Great Peon!" (Last person to go out last round). We would always play up the role of higher and lower classes, peons not allowed to talk directly to dalmuti's, etc. (It's more fun that way) Awesome party game or a great family game if you have enough people.

Packaging Game is great fun, but because the game mat is folded in a box, it doesn't lay flat(which is important). I had to let the game mat sit out for days with telephone books on top of it to get it to lay flat.Needless to say, I won't put the mat back in the box. Friends bought it packaged in a tube and that avoids that problem.
Jumbo SequenceJumbo Sequence is fun for 2 or three players. No special skills are required. The larger playing mat makes it easier to see the layout. The game moves quickly, and most matches take less than 30 minutes to play out with two players. Some strategy is helpful, but the luck of the draw is what ultimately matters.
The object of the game is to play the cards that are arranged on the game mat in a vertical, horizontal or diagonal sequence. But watch out! Your opponent may have the one-eyed Jack which can remove any one of your cards on the mat. Continue to play and draw cards until someone makes a sequence. Two-eyed Jacks are wild.
The rules are different depending on the number of playes, so read the instructions.

Great for Older EyesWe have owned the original version of sequence for several years. The "Jumbo" version is much easier to play when involving young children and/or adults with maturing eyesight. It makes a great game even more enjoyable.

fantastic!!!My daughter received this for her first birthday and it immediately became her favorite toy. She loved carrying it around the house with the handle and using it to sit on. She's over 2 now and still plays with it. The "people" are fun to stack and she enjoys putting things inside (of course, at first she needed help separating the shapes from the letters). It still gets used on playdates even by the older kids. Great toy!
A Must HaveMy daughter loved this when she was 6 months old - opening and closing the red door. And now she's a year and she puts the shapes in, takes them out, puts them in, takes them out. It will be great in another year as she will be able to put the shapes in the correct holes. This toy is a lot less expensive than others but keeps her attention for much longer. We love it!
Still Fun After a Year of PlayFew toys in our household have stood the test of time like this one. My toddler and his baby brother both play with it regularly. It functions as both a shape sorter and a prop for imaginative play.

butterfliescaterpillars came in about a week (we faxed the form to them). 9 out of 10 became butterflies. kids had a fun time watching them grow and go into their cocoons.the cage is huge. Its made out of nylon mesh netting and colapses up so you can reuse it. it has a zipper on the side so you can reach in and feed them when they become butterflies. it may seem a little on the expensive side but the cage is much more substantial than the cardboard box cages offered by other companies.
Wow, what a great experience!!!!!!I ordered this product with great reservations as to if it would just be a waste of money and a big disappointment to my 6 year old son. Well, no need for those reservations! The butterflies come as small worms in a tightly sealed cup with food for them. They came the exact week that I specified that I wanted them shipped. You can actually watch them grow into big fat caterpillars. Then they go to the top of the cup and make cocoons just like the directions say. The top of the cup removes easily and is easily pinned to the side of the very sturdy pavillion. My son(as well as my husband and I) have ust loved this! It has been so neat to see all of the life cycles of the butterfly. All of my worms turned into butterflies!!!! We are getting ready to set them free but it sure has been neat. I am planning on ordering more larva and start over again!
Very ExcitingIt is a very exciting experience for my 4 year old as she watch the life cycle of Butterfly. The Butterfly housing is very durable and pleasantly colorful.

MLB Series 12 Figure: Carlos Beltran #15 New York Mets Center Field Black Jersey
Amazon base price: $
Average review score:

A pretty good figure of this year's biggest free agency bustLast year Carlos Beltran became the first player to make the All-Star team with one league because of what he had accomplished in the other. Beltran was traded by the Kansas City Royals to the Houston Astros as part of a 3-team trade as the Oakland Athletics sent minor leaguers Mike Wood and Mark Teahen to the Royals while Houston sent reliever Octavio Dotel to the A's and John Buck and cash to the Royals. At that point Beltran was batting .278 with 15 home runs and 51 runs batted in to go along with 14 stolens bases. He was voted to the A.L. team by its players as a reserve, and when an injury forced out a N.L. player he was named to that team. Houston picked up Beltran hoping he could spark them to the playoffs, and in one of the great comebacks in baseball history he basically did just that (helped by Roger Clemens and some others).
With Houston he batted .258, hit 23 home runs, drove in 53 runs, and stole 28 bases. For the entire year he ended up batting .267, with 38 homers, 104 RBI's, and 42 stolen bases. He did not reach the 40-40 plateau, but he was close. Then in the post season Beltran made himself the hottest free agent available. In the N.L. Division series against Atlanta he hit .455, hit four home runs and drove in nine, to go with a pair of stolen bases. In the N.L. Championship series against the Cardinals he dipped to .419, four home runs and five RBI's and stole four bases. So, for 12 games he batted .435, with 8 home runs, 14 RBI's, 6 stolen bases, a .536 on base percentage, and a 1.022 slugging percentage.
Declared a free agent, Beltran signed with the New York Mets, who also signed Pedro Martinez. The Mets expected big things from both, but while Martinez has delivered, Beltran has not (although, ironically, he plays like an All-Star on days when Martinez is pitching). Today, Beltran is still batting .267, but this season he only has 13 home runs and 59 runs batted in. He now has 10 stolen bases to finally reach double figures, but across the board he is below his average season of .284, 27 home runs, 104 RBI's and 35 stolen bases. What the Mets are getting for the big bucks they are paying Beltran is not just disappointing, it is also surprising. But this guy is having his worst season as a pro.
Anticipating a big season in the Big Apple and amply justified by what he did last year, MacFarlane Toys has come out with a 6-inch figure of Beltran for its MLB Series 12 set. Wearing #15 on his dark blue home jersey, Beltran is shown racing across center field to catch a sinking line drive. The sculpt of Beltran's face is pretty good and you attention is paid to the details on the uniform and equipment (I especially like the glove on this one). Of course there are dirt stains on this figure, but notice that they are on both sides. A pin in the left knee keeps the figure upright so it looks like he is gliding across the grass of Shea Stadium. This is one of the best looking figures in this series so it is not a disappointment (unlike...).
If Beltran is the biggest free agency bust in the National League this season, then Adrian Beltre probably deserves the honor in the American League, and he is also a MLB Series 12 figure (Beltran comes out "ahead" overall because he had a solid career before this year and not one great season that we suspected was abberational in the first place). In fact, bad seasons abound with this collection. Scott Rolen is having a disappointing year with the St. Louis Cardinals, but he has injuries as an excuse, as does Nomar Garciaparra, who just got back with the Chicago Cubs this month, and Eric Gagne, whose season ended early with the L.A. Dodgers after a second arm surgery. Only David Ortiz is having an All-Star year, which makes pitchers Mike Mussina of the New York Yankees and Tom Glavine of the Mets look good this year with their moderate stats this season.

Lots of fun but average qualityThe puzzle is designed somewhat difficult but not to the degree that discourages my 3 years old daughter to ensemble them. The most difficult part is the two big dinosaurs' bodies have similar patterns, thus she is a bit frustrated sometime but always comes back and finishes them. The only problem I have is its quality. There are many pieces are slightly banned. Based upon all the puzzles we bought, I think Melissa & Doug has better quality.
Fairly difficult for a child of 5.5 yearsMy 5.5 year old granddaughter needed some help with this puzzle.
