WORTH BUYING???????
The GameBoy SP has it's ups and downs. I like that the price droped to $79.95 or whatever it was. There is one thing I hate about the SP, there arnt that many good games for the thing. There are some I like, like Mario and Metrod. Another thing is that it's not that different frome the GBA. I LOVE THE LIGHT, I DON'T KNOW HOW I LIVED WITH NO LIGHT ON THE GBA. I once bought the GBA SP at GameSpot and I loved it, it kept me happy for a long time but it got boring and I sold it back to GameSpot. But if your into the GBA's and that other Nintendo stuff ye'll love the GBA SP.

I love my gameboy advance sp it is so cool!
i got this for christmas about 2 1/2 years ago and it still works like new this is a great sytem you will love it is a good gift for anybody and there is and almost endless posobility of good game choices and it plays both gamboy color and game boy advance games overalll the sp deserves 5 stars

Better than the original
I originally had the gameboy advance, but I got tired of it, so I bought the Gameboy Advance SP. It is way bettter than the original, because it can fold, has a built in light (the other one's screen was pretty dark), and it looks better. It has a rechargable battery so you don't have to buy batteries, but when you first get it (new), you have to charge it before playing, which is annoying. It is also annoying not being able to just pop in new batteries and start playing, you have to wait two hours. You plug the charger into the wall, and into the gamboy to charge it. In other words, you can't charge it without the adapter thing. Once or twice, you may put your game in and it acts like the game is not there. In that case, take the game out and put it in again. Overall, it is a very good product, and as my title says, better than the original. I would give it 4 1/2 to 5 stars, and it is AWESOME!

    what i think
i didnt like the original cyber spawn it looked to plain with its white paint but the metalic red changed my mind. a must have for the collector

    the best on the set
ok, i will get to the point, todd has in the last 3 years dedicated himself to produce figures that are beutifull and very detail in every sense, but to achieve that you must loose something, ARTICULATIONS, well dear collectors this is not the case, we finally have a fully articulated and also very, very detail action figure, the paint is something that you may not have seen on other action figures, a gold red mixture that catches your eye on the spot, oohhh i only wish that todd didnt make this a rare event, and starts making more articulated figures

    Little Mermaid didn't float
According to my almost 5 year old, she didn't like it as much as the Care Bears game. Moving around and navigating Ariel was a not as easy. And the games was not as fun as the ones in Care Bears. THis game may be more suitable for 5-6 year olds.

teach your kid to count and match
Little Mermiad v-tech smile is a very cute game for a little girl. It has a lot of the movie in the game and ariel's majestic journey has helped my daughter learn to count fruits and vegs. and match different items found in ship ect/ect. It's worth the money.

    My daughter loves it!
My daughter, who is almost 6 years old, loves her Vsmile and all her games.

Polly Pocket Sister Style Playset - Polly & Kate

      Big hit!
I got this for my best friend's 9th birthday. It was a big hit among her and her friends. This set was my friend's first polly. My best friend loved this and opened Sister Style set right away. I agree with other girls that Kate's eye's look a little weird. But my best friend doesn't seem to mind, especialy because Polly looks beautiful. Polly's clothes show young girls the world of punk, so that is defenitly a downside. But Kate's clothes are really girlish, so I don't know what to do. If you are a mother who doesn't approve of punk looking things, take away Polly's clothes.

      SUPER COOL!
These clothes are pretty cool, but Kate's eyes are funny looking. Also, I think Polly Pocket should have better hair styles.I have the Lila and Courtney set and that one ROCKS!

      I love this set! =^_^=
Hi :)This set is so cool! I saw it at toysrus and picked it up right away!
But there is one small problem... Why is Kate's face so weird looking?! I don't realy play with her for that reason... But I alwase use a different Polly pocket doll for Polly's sister anyway... But I LOVE the Polly doll! I want to get the Lilla and Courntey set for christmas. And if I don't Im buying it! For 10 dollers it's a pretty good deal, I mean 2 dolls, 6 outfits (With a lot of different combinations!), 4 pairs of shoes, and a purse. That's a GOOD deal! Me and my sisters LOVE Pollys and play with them everyday!
Well I have to go... merry christmas!

      Bye! =^_^=

        An Everyday Toy
My son recieved this as a gift at 6 months. Even though it's rated for 9 months and up, he enjoyed it and still enjoys it. Here's what we like about it:

        1. He likes spinning the football and can do that unassisted, even while sitting. I spun it for him once and he "got" it right away. It's something he can do sitting and without help.

        2. He likes the sounds/music when you put a ball through the hoop, and even though he couldn't do it seated, he loved it when we'd hold him up and let him dunk the ball.

        3. He loves the bat, and though he's not able to connect bat with ball just yet, he likes banging the floor with the bat.

        4. Even tough he can't hit the baseball with the bat, he likes pushing the ball and hearing the clicking noise.

        5. It definitely helped with hand-eye coordination as he learned to drop the ball into the hoop or put it in the hole. It also has some cause and effect, because now he drops the ball in and knows where to look for it.

        4. Unlike the roll-a-rounds toys, which we generally like, the basketballs are just the right size for him to pick up with one hand.

        Here's what's not great:
        1. It's fairly large, but not heavy/stable enough for him to pull himself up on or rely on for standing (now that he can). He's almost pulled it over several times trying this.

        2. It was really hard to put together, even though there are no screws, etc. It basically "snapped" together, but me, my husband and his best friend all had to fight to get the pieces in place.

        3. Sometimes the basketball doesn't push the lever all the way in to register a basket. While my son can't count and doesn't know that the score hasn't updated, he likes the sound, so I end up hitting it with my hand, which he has now started to copy.

Overall I give this 4 stars. He's been enjoying it for almost 3 months now, and I anticipate it will continue to be one of his favorite toys.

        Hours of Fun.
Like other reviewers, we got this toy as a gift. My son was only 6 months old, so we thought we'd have to wait a while for him to be able to play with it. He started playing with it right away. He'll play with it for hours. Yes, the football IS just a rattle that spins in the goalposts, but there's not much other than that that can be SAFELY done with a football. My 2-year-old daughter uses the baseball and bat part more than my son and it's really teaching her some baseball skills. As for it's size, look at the customer images. Someone placed a picture of their toddler seated playing with it. As you can see, it's roughly two feet tall. It's meant for infants and toddlers (NOT KIDS). If you want one of these for older kids, there's a great one on the market adjustable up to almost five feet.

        LOVE IT!!
My son got this for Christmas, even though he wasn't quite 9 months old. He liked it in the beginning and played with it, but now (at 12 months) all I do is listen to the crowd cheer. If he can't find a basketball, he'll put anything that will fit into the basket. The football used to be our favorite, but now it's less so. My son is trying to hit the baseball with the bat and lights up every time, though only once has he been able to make the ball move. I have had no problems with this and I thought it was fairly easy to assemble by myself. I've even given this as a gift to others because my son loves it so much. I especially love that it has 2 sound levels, so outside it can be louder and in return, it can be slightly quiter inside.

        Great!
This is by far the best-yet carrier/holder for the leap pad and all it's many books and cartridges. It zips closed so you don't have to worry about anything falling out...the only things that could be improved is somehow (and i'm not sure how) making it lighter-sometimes it is too heavy for my kids to carry comfortably..and also, if they maybe added a spot for the attachable light. Other than that, it's perfect!

        Pink Leappad Organizer
This is great! No more lost cartridges or torn books. Very easy for my four year old to store all her leap pad items.

Great product from the beginning to now 2 years later
This organizer is very easy to open and close for me and my daughter, as well as giving everything a place. These reasons and the fact that they are true 2 years later are why I give it 5 STARS!!

        Wise and Otherwise Board Game

Great for adults and children who can write
We have enjoyed Wise and Otherwise for the past 10 years and have recently started buying the games for our grown children. It is a challenging and thoughtful game which gives some insight into other cultures and times. While adults use all their resources to come up with creative answers, even 3rd and 4th graders can come up with some clever endings to the sayings that fool their elders. Recommended without reservation.

wise or otherwise is a wise choice
wise or otherwise is a wise choice, it is fun for the whole fmily, a game we can all play together!

          Great game!!!
We love this game. It seems to be the most fun with 5 or 6 people, although my husband and I also enjoyed the 2-person version.
We do not usually use the board. We just use a scorepad to keep track of points.
Once you catch on to the game, it's not too hard to come up with answers.
          Highly recommended!

MLB Series 12 Figure: Mike Mussina #35 New York Yankees Pitcher Grey Jersey

"Moose" Mussina, basically the only Yankee starting pticher left standing
With the number of McFarlane Toys baseball figures assembled on top of my television set it really seems like every time a new series comes out there is always at least one New York Yankee. For MLB Series 12 that would be pitcher Mike Mussina, wearing #35 on his gray Yankees jersey. "Moose" is in his fifth season with the Yankees, having signed as a free agent after putting up solid numbers for the Baltimore Orioles. One of the few major leaguers to have been born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, home of the Little League World Series, Mussina won 17, 18, and 17 games in his first three seasons in New York, but went only 12-9 last season. The expectation was that pitching for the Yankees would make Mussina a Cy Young candidate each season, but his season bests for wins, E.R.A. and strikeouts all remains from his seasons with the Orioles. But having lost Andy Pettite, Roger Clemens and Jon Leiber to free agency and with Randy Johnson, Kevin Brown Carl Pavano, Jared Wright and Wang, Chien-Ming all serving time on the DL, "Moose" has become the mainstay of Joe Torre's starting rotation (I do not even want to start listing all of the third line starters the Yankees have thrown into games this year from Al Leiter and Aaron Small to Darrell May and Tim Redding).

This 6-inch figure has very limited articulation. You can adjust the neck a bit and the left wrist for positioning his glove, but that is it. So what you see is really what you get with this one. The best touch is the baseball, which is as close to the release point as you are going to find with all of these McFarlane baseball figures. There is also some nice musculature and veins popping on the arms, and if you are really familiar with Mussina's delivery style then you have to admit the dirt on his pants legs is appropriate. Other nice details are the mud caking the bottom of Mussina's cleats, and on the pitching base where to the left of Mussina's front foot there is another impact area left by the opposing pitcher. Since Musina is wear the road gray uniform of the Yankees he is obviously playing on the road somewhere, but where can be any place you want.

Of the eight baseball players with figures in MLB Series 12, Mussina is one of the rare few who is having a decent season with, as of this date, a 11-7 record and a 4.01 E.R.A. The only one having a better season is David Ortiz of the Boston Red Sox, with a .292 average, 26 homer runs and 92 runs batted in. But for pitchers Tom Glavine of the New York Mets is 8-9 with a 4.50 E.R.A., and Eric Gagne's season with the Los Angeles Dodgers ended with only eight saves because of arm surgery. You are not going to find bigger disappointments in free agency in either league than Carlos Beltran, who is only hitting .268 with 13 home runs, 59 RBI's and eight stolen bases for the Mets, and Adrian Beltre, now with the Seattle Mariners but only hitting .254 to go with 14 homers and 60 RBI's. Scott Rolen's season is almost as disappointing, at .235, 5 homers and 28 RBI's in only 56 games, but at least he has injuries as an excuse. The same goes for Nomar Garciapara, who got back with the Cubs at about the same time that his new McFarlane figure came out. You would think this was MLB Series 13 (it comes out in September with Moises Alou withe the Giants and updated figures of Larry Walker with the Cardinals, Pedro Martinez with the Mets, and Randy Johnson with the Yankees).
