For my son who's 4 and has a reading level between 2nd and 3rd grade and math skill to match, he just wasn't being challenged by the 3-5 yrs. v-smile games. This one was challenging yet content appropriate for a 4 yr. old. Try the Mickey Adventure as well.

My 5 year old really likes this game. It is challenging but at the same time he doesn't become frustrated. The animation is bright and colorful, and the game is easy to understand and follow. I would highly recomend this one for kids over 5!

These V-Tech games are fun for all ages. In Alladin, you can fly on a magic carpet, explore the city looking for letters of the alphabet, and search underground ruins for treasure. The games can be set so that the player never looses. In Adventure Play mode you play the games in order as a story unfolds. You can also choose to play individual games. In the most difficult game for my little guy, a giant cobra threatens Alladin. Alladin can send fireballs toward the cobra. The cobra is always on the move and the player must move the picture to the cobra's mouth and send a fireball. If the picture belongs in the category, Alladin is safe. If the player shoots at a picture that does not belong in the category the cobra breathes fire and Alladin looses some of his life force. This is too much coordination for my little guy. He hands me the controls until I get him past that task. I don't mind because we can play together and he enjoys playing dispite the cobra.

I love SSC, but this is just a huge disapointment! for $29.99 no way is it worth the price! It hardly comes with ANYTHING and the quality is sooooo cheap! I am returning mine!!

IF YOU HAVE THE FISHER PRICE LOVING FAMILY DOLLHOUSE YOU CAN ALSO DO WHAT WE DID AND LET STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE AND HER FRIENDS BORROW ALL THE PINK FURNITURE AND ACCESSORIES! JUST A TIP.

The songs on this CD are GREAT! My nearly 3 year old jumps around to the music and is learning some of the songs because the tunes are so catchy. We play the CD when we're just in her room cleaning up or playing with toys. As a matter of fact, I've come back to this product again because she jumps around so much next to the CD player that her CD is skipping. The combination of the CD and these flashcards are a tremendous tool in teaching reading readiness. The songs on this CD teach the vowels, phonics, and a catchy version of the ABC song is included. The flashcards ... we both love. The flashcards are a great learning tool for familiarizing your child with upper and lower case letters at the same time, which is important. The upper and lowercase letters are on one side the flash card. And on the other side of the flashcards there are two word associations for each letter. For example, on the reverse side of the "Aa" card, are the words "Afraid" and "Alligator". I would highly recommend this duo to any parent that is looking for a way of creatively laying a strong foundation in developing the reading skills of their preschooler.

Daughter received just shy of her 3rd birthday. She LOVES the Letter Factory video, so this was a natural purchase for use in the car, doctor's office, etc. The cards are made of very thick cardboard, so appear that they will hold up for some time. The case that comes along with them is made of durable plastic and is easy to open. Having the case makes it convenient to fit in any purse or bag. The cards have parent suggestions on the back sides... example find something in the kitchen that starts with the letter 'B'.

The CD contains songs from the Letter Factory and Word Factory videos. Having a CD is nice, such that we can listen to the popular songs in the car (where we're not able to watch the video).

Please note, however that it is unlikely that just by listening to the CD that your child will learning their letters/ phonics. However if used in conjunction with the videos, it can strengthen what they've learned.

I recently purchased these flash cards for my three-year old son. He absolutely loves them. He uses them to practice his letter sounds and also just to play with. The quality is great..they are very sturdy. They also come with a little plastic case to keep them in. As a former pre-school teacher I'm always looking for toys that are both educational, fun and durable. This one hits the mark!

the 3 dimensional horses were freezes (i.e., only 1 side of the animal was there) rather than full 3 dimensional items, but otherwise it was quite nice. They were easy to paint and everything came with the item.

I actually purchased this because it was on a huge sale, not expecting much, but boy was I surprised. My 2 year old saw it with other toys in the amazon box, and immediately asked that I open this one. I agreed, and we opened it up. There are a surprising amount of pieces. The two of us played with it for close to an hour without getting bored. Then when my 8 year old got home from school the 2 of them spent another 1/2 hour building with it. The biggest surprise, this weekend my husband got down on the floor and spent close to an hour building robots and creatures and towers with my 2 year old with just this set (I can't remember the last time he's done something like that). Needless to say, it's a hit with the whole family, and has been played with every day since. A great buy!

My 22month old daughter received the Build n'Go Village from Santa, and what a wonderful toy it is. She was never very interested in Mega blocks, but loves the pop-onz. They are easy to handle, colorful and come in a case that turns into a play table. She can take them anywhere with her. There's no little pieces to lose, or that will become vaccum cleaner food!! My husband is planning on purchasing the castle blocks for her birthday. I strongly recommend this toy.

This is a great addition to the pop onz table. My son loves to build different things out of the blocks. And they are not very pricey.

This DVD is about Miss Spider trying to find guests to come to have tea with her. It teaches children that sometimes what they think a person is like isn't always true. That they need to take the time to get to know someone new. I like the moral lesson involved and the fact that the games are more educational than some other DVDs for this product. One game deals with counting, number recognition, patterns and shapes. So not only is my son learning to appreciate stories and comprehension but other educational skills are being reinforced as well. I would highly recommend this DVD if someone is interested in purchasing more in the series. This DVD is one that is both fun and educational.

My adult daughter was thrilled with the i-Dog she received for Christmas. Thanks to an email from Amazon, I was able to give her the Chill Set for her February birthday.

A fun, reasonably priced gift.

My daughter, 7 years old, has enjoyed her i-dog a lot. The new outfits to accessorize has made the dog not only a cool toy now but a great room accessory as well. I do have to admit the dog looks real cute in the purple set we got.

We purchased the i-dog, the purse and the chill set for our 10 year old daughter and she is having a BLAST with it. It is so much fun to play with and VERY cute while it is working. Not real educational, but it is loads of fun. Highly recommended for your tween.

This little pony is soft and plays the cutest song! I ordered it after my 2 year old fell in love with the "A Very Minty Christmas" movie. She was so excited to get Minty, who is not only cuddly, but plays her favorite song from the movie. Very cute!!!

I haven't given Minty to my daughter yet, but I hope she'll like it. The toy is about 9 or 10 inches from nose to tail. It's got a hard center because of the music mechanism. My daughter likes "squishy" toys to sleep with, so it may loose some cuddle points with her because of that, and the rest is as soft as could be desired. But the song got stuck in my head from the couple of times I tested it!

I bought this pony because my daughter is obsessed with the Very Minty Christmas dvd. I am so glad I purchased this, even though it was an impulse buy! It is hard to find a Minty anywhere, and this one is perfect. I have had it out playing with it several times, even though it is hidden away as a gift. She is going to be thrilled when she sees "horse!" I am so glad I found a Minty, and the song is perfect and sweet. Buy with the dvd for a perfect combination!

This is a great toy!!! I have 2 boys. A 4 year old and a 1 year old. I bought the new batmobile that came out this year but the old one is built better!! He loves both... but the old one is built to last!!! It has lights and sounds and shoots projectiles from the sides. I think it was a steal for the price. Don't pass on it cause its an older model. In this case older is better.

my son really loves this toy! he has both this batmobile and the newer exp batmobile & he likes this one better (because its the one that's in the cartoon), but loves both of them. also, it seems like the quality on this one is a bit better to.

My five year old batman "freak" of a son loves this batmobile. It has withstood a year of "mishaps" and battles with his many batman figurines and his rivals, it has even been "dropped" from the upstairs loft onto a hardwood floor and it's still in one peice! He wants to buy one for all his friends. It will keep your little one (or big one) entertained for HOURS on end!!!
