Fun for a rainy dayGot this toy for my daughter for Christmas. Both she and my son loved it, but it only comes with 8 or so pieces of cardboard and you go through them quickly. I bought refills, which were hard to find locally and they also last about 5 minutes. As other reviewers have said, get your own cardboard, any neon color works well, and use one of the original pieces as a stencil to cut them out. It's much cheaper than buying the refills if you don't mind a little bit of extra work. I bought regular cardboard which curled up after they came off the toy, but we can put a book on them when they are dry to flatten them out. Cleaning isn't too bad either. Just a couple of papertowels and voila! It's clean and ready to be used again.
Was Very surprised My duaghter who is 3 1/2 years old got this toy from her grandmother. I was a little hesitant at first. I remember something similar when I was child and it made for massive clean up when done.
So I have been putting it off getting out for my daughter. Who has asked me non stop for the last two months. I kept saying it was special toy for a special day. Her not knowing I just didn't want to deal with the hassel of the whole thing.
Well I got it out today. It's humid and raining and I thought I can't put it off forever. THis toy is great. It was so much fun and really there was hardly any mess. I instructed her less is more on a project like this but I don't think it made a difference. With each paper change I did wipe it down with a wet paper towel and that was it. They think it's super cool because you use it with all the lights off. It's also nice because it comes with the batteries.
This is a real winner. I highly recommend this toy and don't put off playing with it either like I did.

Waste of Time/Piece of Junk/Horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THis was the funniest thing i've ever seen. I've never laughed so hard in my life. My daughter just got one of these things for her birthday and was so excited. It took us a whole hour just to find a light bulb that would fit.. then we had to make the cake mix... then we had to figure out how to slide it in there... MORE LIKE CHEESEY BAKE OVEN... You'd need a harvard MBA or soemthing equivalent to that to figure it out! Ohh my gosh! I've never laugh so hard. It costs more to make a cake for a smurf than it does to eat at a five-star restauarunt. My gosh! After the timer went off.. Our whole family gathered aroudn to see the wonderful experience but... the cake was about the size of 2 quarters. HAhAHAHHAHH!
the food alway come s out wrongthe food mever comes out right,n i have top use aregule oven.the new one work but not the classic.sad,i now
Fun for what it is...This is just as fun for my 5-y/o daughter as the late-60's version was for me. She couldn't care less how the cake tastes -- the fun is in the process, not the product! This toy does require adult supervision and getting the pan in and out is pretty tough. But overall it's a fun toy that will make great memories as well as a few less-than-memorable goodies! To reorder parts (not mixes, but pans, pusher, etc.) go to http://www.hasbro.com/forms/orderform.cfm?prod=Easy%20Bake%20Oven&sku=65510

Just for collection, not for use! This cube, is only for keep it. I try to use it, and one week later all stickers were damage.
Yeah I like it butThe Rubik's cube has stunned the world for many years I love the cube and can solve it and can also almost solve it's counterpart the 4x4 rubik's revenge I enjoy playing with the rubik's cube but the only thing to keep in mind is that the stickers start to fall off after about a month first orange then green so if you buy this be prepared to buy many more when the stickers start to fall off
A Very neat mind toolThis puzzle is easy to solve once you learn how to but the sky becomes the limit to see how fast you can figure out a way to solve it. It takes determination and desire to develope new short cuts to solve it faster. This game can be compared to ones own mind and how fear can scramble it and overcoming those fears solve it and put it back into place. But trying to solve it by oneself without a guid is next to implossible. If you do figure it out by yourself then it will probably take day upon day of hard scientific work.

Scategories- a new "word" gameA great new game for the whole family or get-togethers with guests. Although it requires general vocabulary and language skills and knowledge, all age levels can play together competitively which makes it great for the whole family.
Word Play! This is a great game for anyone who likes word games, like Boggle or Scrabble. In this game, however, istead of finding or creating words, you recall them and write them down. A letter is selected by rolling a goofy-shaped die which bears a letter on each of its many sides (not all letters in the alphabet are included). The group or leader of the game chooses a card with categories. For instace, one may include items such as: Superhero; Food; City; School Subject; and so on. For each of these, you jot down a word or phrase beginning with the letter shown face-up on the die. Let's say the letter is: M. You can put Mighty Mouse as a Superhero (and if memory serves me right, you get two points since Mighty and Mouse BOTH begin with the selected letter 'M'), Meatloaf for food, Milwaukee for city, and Mathematics for school subject. You get the idea, I'm sure. If you are playing with kids, you may want to make your own cards with categories that suit their interests and learning level (superhero, lunch meat, toy/game, color, food, animal, etc...). There are now young Scattergories games too.
This is a fun group game that can go rather quickly.

Great fun for mixed age groupsThis game is one that can be played in teams (combine points) or with individuals. It was easy to play this with a mixed group of people, we did it with a group of 8-65 year olds and all had fun.
It was exceptionally funny to see the different takes the ages would use. On one of the items where we had rolled an L both Mom and Dad had linoleum my nephew was asking what that was. Needless to say M&D were annoyed as they each thought they would have a unique word. But serious fun was had by all.
If you want a fast paced fun timed game this one is for you.

Cadoo is a Cadon'tI bought Cadoo one Christmas for my nephew because he thought it would be fun. He was wrong. I played it one time with him and while we were playing he got bored. There is no real point to this game.
HullabalooThis is a great game. My 2 1/2 and 6 both play it together. It helps the little one to learn colors and shapes and identifying pictures and most importantly to listen to instructions. Its a fun action game because the speaker calls out the new location to find and tells the players how to get there -- spin to a red, crawl to a square. It is even fun to play alone. I definitely recommend this.
Great fun for kids of different agesI had this game on my Amazon wish list, and a good friend purchased it as a "big brother" gift for my two eldest when their baby brother was born. Since they had lots of toys already, I kept it hidden in my closet for the right day... when the baby would be awake, the downstairs neighbors would be gone, etc.
Well, I pulled it out today, popped the batteries in, and voila! Like magic, my normally squabbling 3 1/2 and 6 1/2 year olds were giggling, bouncing, and leaping all over the place. The great thing is that it's an active game, but they have to listen to the game's instructions, so they don't get overly wild. This is a terrific game for a small birthday party (though you can order spare game pads from Cranium and use it for bigger groups or classes), or just to bring out when the kids are bored and can't go burn off energy outside.
The game is really simple; it comes with the battery-operated pod and 16 pads that you scatter on the floor. They vary in shapes, colors, and emblems (things like animals, instruments, and food). The players have to listen to the pod's instructions (ie "spin over to a circle! Touch your nose to an animal!"), and after a certain number of instructions, the game will tell the players to freeze, and announce that if anyone is standing on a certain pad, they're the winner, and should take a bow or do a funky dance.
I was thrilled to have a game that's active and something that both my kids could play together -- since it's essentially a listening-to-instructions game of luck, one wouldn't necessarily beat the other.
This is a terrific example of how well-thought-out the Cranium games are. I'm sure we'll get lots of use out of this!

Arcade Alley Baseball Backstop

it stinksi am a very good pitcher and this thing takes alot of time to put it together and after i put it together i through the ball so hard that it ripped then i pitched again rip it is cheap
just another arcade alley toyJust like the other arcade alley toys I have purchased. It comes in about 50+ pieces, Is a pain to assemble, takes up lots of space at (least 4-5ft each) but, very fun to play! Even the adults enjoy them.
Wonderful Fun!I bought this for my 7 year old nephew last month for his birthday and he loves it! He plays with it everyday. The backstop is durable, even for his tough pitches. He can play different types of baseball games and it has worked perfect (and boy is he rough on toys). He has two sisters that don't play sports (and he loves sports), so it keeps him occupied and he can play by himself or with his father. He called me to tell me it was the coolest and best gift he has ever received. Love it! Thanks

Great fun.My two kids love this thing. We have had it for a month now and they use it everyday. After a month the line was starting to slack and when I tightened the nut on the u shaped cable lock the stud broke. I was using a cordless screwdriver at the time and didn't think the thing would break it.
Better quality materials would be nice.
Outdoor fun that won't wear outThis is one of the neatest toys our kids have. It is extremely durable and fun for kids of all ages. The only thing negative about this toy is that it is difficult to set up. But once it is set up, there is no maintenance. Worth the expense!
The BestThis is the kinda toy I want. It will be on my wish list, even though i'm most likely to old to use it. I need it in my town!

MLB Series 12 Figure: Tom Glavine #47 New York Mets Pitcher Black Jersey
Amazon base price: $
Average review score:

Will Tom Glavine be the next and perhaps final pitcher to win 300 games? We are now at the point in baseball history where hitting 500 home runs is no longer guaranteed to get you into the Hall of Fame (with steroids being the dominant reason, but there are other issues involved). However, winning 300 games as a pitcher is still a charmed number, which historically guarantees admission to Cooperstown. Twenty-two players from Cy Young and his 511 wins to Lefty Grove and Early Wynn right at 300, have reached that level and the only two who are not enshrined are Roger Clements and Greg Maddux. That is because no one really believes the Rocket has retired and Maddux is still pitching (4-0 with a 0.99 ERA as of today). When Maddux made it to the 300 plateau there was an argument that he might be the last person EVER to do it. If that does not prove to be the case, it could well be Maddux's former teammate Tom Glavine who could earn that rather strange honor.
Glavine is 277 wins as of today, and since the New York Mets are off to a hot start and at the age of 40 he has started off the season 2-1, with 6 walks and 26 strikeouts in 26 innings and a 1.04 ERA, two dozen wins in the next two seasons does not seem far fetched. Of course, the more he wins this season, the less he has to win next season (at this point he projects to 18 wins for the whole season, at which point I think he becomes a lock to make it to 300 wins). Given that he has won 20 games five times and won a pair of Cy Young Awards, despite pitching at the same time and mostly for the same team that Maddux was pitching for while winning four Cy Young Awards in a row.
This 6-inch McFarlane Toys figure shows Glavine in the black road jersey of the New York Mets (so you can pretend he is pitching at Turner Field against the Braves), wearing #47 and raring back to fire another pitch towards the plate. Glavine has one of the more distinctive poses while pitching, and this figure does a nice job of capturing it: the key is that weird thing he does with his glove at this point in his delivery. They also did a nice job capturing the look on his face, part of a recent trend of great improvement in that area. Also part of McFarlane's Sports Picks: MLB Baseball Series 12 are Glavein's Mets teammate Carlos Beltran, David Ortiz of the Boston Red Sox, Adrian Beltre as a Seattle Mariner, Mike Mussina of the New York Yankees, and second edition figures of Nomar Garciaparra as a Chicago Cub, Scott Rolen of the St. Louis Cardinals, and Eric Gagne of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
After Glavine and his 277 wins and counting you drop down on the active list to Randy Johnson at 266 (also as of today), Mike Mussina at 224 and Pedro Martinez at 200, and all of those are questionable for making it to 300. What I would like to see is Glavine make it to 300, retire the same year that Maddux does, and then watch the pair going into Cooperstown the same year. You know they will both be wearing Atlanta Braves caps on their plaques, so it would be a nice twist and reminiscent of when Mickey Mantle and Whitey Ford were enshrined together in 1974.

Boring and annoyingThis toy is an over-priced flop. The water canon is really hard to pump, the boat floats poorly and the little boat never floats right with the pirate in it - causing much frustration for my 2 year old. It's also one of those toys where all of the components fill with water, never dry out between baths and therefore can grow gross stuff inside. Spend your money more wisely...
Great toy -- takes a bit to figure outOkay, well, maybe I'm not as smart as the other reviewers -- or just exceptionally sleep-deprived, or whatever, but it took me a while to figure out that the thing only floated *when you let it fill with water! For the longest time I was exasperated by this toy because it wouldn't float. It does float -- sink it first.
Duh.
Now it's a great toy, I highly recommend.

great pirate shipThis is a nice boat for in the bath tub. We have had this toy for over a year now, and my son of 3.5 years old still likes to play with it, he especially likes to squirt the cannon. This toy definitely invokes imaginary play and the several components have held up quite nicely, nothing is broke yet. I rated it four stars because the little boat tumbles off the big ship very easily. It would be nice if that specific feature could be redesigned.
