You can not play "read with me DVD"s on a computer that plays DVDs. My kids each have a portable computer for playing games and watching DVDs. These do not work at all. Normal DVDs have options that you sellect on the screen. These need to have a remote control, which our computers do not have. This is a substandard DVD, and probably should not be called a DVD.

My son is 5 and this was a great gift for him. He enjoys the many different activities associated with each DVD. Unlike a previous person complained, I was fully aware you needed the special player to view this DVD. The player is very easy to use and my son requires very little assistance from me. He sits for over an hour playing with each DVD!!!

My son received this as a christmas gift, and thoroughly enjoys it. This is not a regular DVD. It is designed to go with the "Read With Me DVD" system (a separate remote control that works with it on your TV). A previous reviewer was not aware of this, so it should not have received a bad review for consumer error.

My daughter liked playing with this toy, but not that long (before a year was up), the toys sound was all messed up (even with new batteries in it)and then it just broke. Don't waste your money on this product. There are plenty of durable toys out there and this is not one of them.

I have a 7 month old and he really enjoys playing with this toy. It's great for babies just mastering sitting as everything they need to enjoy themselves is within reach! The sound effects are easy on parent's ears, too:) This purchase was well worth it!

Both my handicapped 8 year old son and my 15 month old absolutely love this toy!! It Taught my 15 month old to sort and now he uses his block box for sorting instead of throwing!! Even the older kids I take care of enjoy playing with this toy. The music is warm and the nature sounds are very clear. The only problem I have had is the tips of the sorting blocks break when stepped on...*LOL* other than that this is a wonderful addition to our toy collection!!

While watching the news this evening I saw a broadcast of the Top 10 Hazardous Toys for 2005. This product was on the list for causing severe damage if a child hits another child or a pet. The blunt force can be very serious. I have seen this product in the stores for many weeks now and am sure many have been bought with the hype of the movie. I would say after seeing the news this evening and hearing the injuries that could be caused this product should be off the shelves immediately. I was surprised that ToysRUs still had it on the website for sale.

WHAT?! I see reviews saying that the Fantastic 4 Movie Electronic Thing Hands are similar to the Hulk Movie Electronic Hands that came out a few years back. ARE YOU KIDDING?! That is the densest thing I've ever heard! First of all, the Hulk hands were green.

But anyway, these hands are great for so many things...they are truly the world's most versatile toy. So I've decided to list the things they are NOT good for:

1) Homemade popsicles (unless you have a big freezer)
2) Reasoning with a jury.
3) Using post-it notes.
4) Praying to God.
5) Scrapbooking.

That's it. For every other situation they're ideal.

I bought the thing hands and feet for my 2 sons. They love them have had many hours playing.

I bought this for my daughter who is 11yrs old I thought it would be fun well when you put the marker (comes with 5) in the air brush it does not work we tried putting water on the tip like it said and that did not work I guess I should not expect that much for the price I paid but I think I could have bought some stencils and markers for less than this. It was very disappointing.

Not exactly what we expected, you put a tiny marker into the air gun and it blows the marker fluid onto your skin. The markers are the smallest markers that I have ever seen. You can do 3 maybe 4 tatoos with one color and then it runs out. The stencil is a sticker so once you use it, it loses its stickyness and doesn't work very well the next time, double stick tape worked better. Knowing what I know now, I would maybe spend 10 dollars on a product like this.

I bought the airbrush tattoo maker as a present for my 5 year old's birthday and it was awesome. She had a little sleepover party and everyone had to have at least 2 tattoos! It was a little tricky removing the designs from the backing paper, but other than that, this is a great party present.

This toy stinks!!! My daughter received this for her 3rd birthday yesterday, and was SOOO excited to put it together to play. So, my friend and I spent about an hour trying to figure it out. It is a pain to put together, and falls apart if you touch it. It comes with no dolls, and I can't find them anyway to buy them. For today, my daughter has put my vintage Smurf figurines in to play - they actually fit quite well. But, I have a feeling this toy will be forgotten very soon. My advice - Do NOT BUY IT!!!!

Every review posted about this item is right on the money! This SSC castle is the biggest piece of crap I have ever purchase next to the Pony castle in 2004. I cant believe I wasted $40 on this. I have since won the original house from the 80's on that famous auction site for $150 and the quality blows away this crap that they making today. And the new SSC dolls are almost impossible to find in retail stores. I also got almost all of the vintage SSC dolls in the famous auction site too, for LESS than the new crappy dolls are selling for. I too made the mistake in pitching the box. I am going to complain to my credit card company because they quarantee piece of crap defective purchases. I am also complaining to the manufacturer of this garbage. This garbage should be recalled!! Dont waste your money! Knowing now what crap this is, I would not pay $1 for it at a yard sale!

My mom insisted on buying this for my daugther for Christmas. I told her the reviews weren't good, I wish she would have listened. Everything you will read in these reviews is exactly true. This toy is a complete waste of money. Not to mention, the dolls that go with it are impossible to find. I would like to know how this toy even made it to production, but some people are getting rich off of this. I just hope anyone who looks at buying this changes their mind fast!

This toy is surpose to be for kids 3+ and older, but in order for george the move around @ the same time he laughs is a joke. You have to touch his feet or stomach to get him going then you have to touch the right spot under his left arm to get him to move now remind you this is for a child. George has a magical spot that kids are surpose to now about, the box doesn't were to find this spot. I returned it for a full refund, this toy didn't live up to what I thought it should have

My 3-year-old son loves the Tickle Curious George TV ads so much that he goes around tickling pictures of Curious George on Life cereal boxes, so it was a no-brainer to buy this doll for his third birthday this week. However, when it arrived (two days later than promised) we were really disappointed.

The TV ads make it look like George has a funny and cute little laugh that will really get kids giggling along. The truth is, George's laughs are short, weird, and almost creepy.

In the ads, the kids are actually ticking George and getting a reaction. In reality, you have to push directly on the specific buttons under his arms, on his stomach, or on his feet to get a laugh. My poor little guy keeps tickling his doll in vain, because he doesn't hit the right spots.

The "magic tickle spot" isn't anything specific and it doesn't turn up very frequently. Basically, you have to keep hitting the five tickle buttons until one of them becomes the "magic spot." Then the doll vibrates and the creepy laughs last a little longer. Once it ends, it may be hours before the magic spot turns up again.

The doll is cute, so we've kept it anyway; my son and husband are both George fans and the tickles are like a bonus on a cute stuffed animal. But my husband and I are really disappointed by the substantial difference between the ads and the product. As for durability, we haven't had it long enough to comment. The battery pack does have an on/off switch that seems to get switched frequently by itself, perhaps during the "tickling"; if your toy stops working suddenly, pull out the pack and that will probably be the problem.

Well it was a cute toy but still have not gotten anymore giggle.. only once.. but my son still loves it

This is the best piece of furniture, your child will ever enjoy.
My son, loves to sit on it to watch his favorite shows and when he becomes bored he unfolds it to rest and tries to hide within the couch. He truly adores his Spider-Man flip out sofa.

MY 3 YEAR OLD SON LOVES THE SPIDER-MAN FLIP OUT SOFA HE GOT FOR HIS BIRTHDAY. HE FLIPS IT OUT FOR A BED AND PUTS IT ON TOP OF HIS BED AND SLEEPS THERE ALL THE TIME. AWESOME PRODUCT! HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR THE SPIDER-MAN FANATIC!!!

My 6 and 9 YO have not stopped playing on this for 3 days straight! That being said...Seams would seem to be the weak point in this product, although we have had no problems so far. I do not tie the air drains very tight so to allow air to escape easier when kids jump. Manufacturer should make the landing area longer and slope the end bumper as opposed to the current design, I took my eyes off kids for a second and daughter went down head first on her back and hurt her neck. I reccomend allowing only one child up at a time as a miss step could send child to the ground from 7' in the air as there is nothing to prevent a fall.
I'm not an overly cautious parent so I highly reccomend this product. The more timid may want to avoid it.

MY KIDS LOVE THE BONSAI SLIDE. IT IS EASY TO SET UP AND PUT AWAY. EVEN MY 7 & 8 YR OLD CAN PULL IT OUT OF THE GARAGE TO SET IT UP. I WISH THE MANUFACTURER HAD PROVIDED A STOPPER SO THAT IF YOU DON'T WANT TO USE THE SLIP & SLIDE AT THE SAME TIME YOU DON'T HAVE THE WATER COMING OUT OF THAT TUBING CONNECTION. WE BEND THE TUBE FOR THE SLIP & SLIDE AND ATTACH A RUBBERBAND TO HELP KEEP IT CLOSE IN THAT SITUATION. MY KIDS ALSO WISH THAT THE POOL AREA WAS BIGGER TO ALLOW FOR LONGER "SLIDES" BUT HEY THAT DOESN'T DIMINISH THEIR FUN! AS WE DON'T HAVE A POOL THIS WAS A GOOD INVESTMENT TO KEEP COOL WHEN WE DON'T WANT TO TRAVEL TO THE BEACH

I just got this for my 3 year old daughter and friends and they LOVED it!!! The seams could be better but so far no problems. This could be a dangerous toy if you do not supervise your children. I suggest only one child at a time, other wise you could run into trouble. We love it and would buy another one!

After much begging from my 8 year old son, I finally gave in and purchased it. After 5 minutes of play my son said "Let's take it back". It takes a lot of force to flatten it and it would not pop up in time to catch it as a ball. It also pinched fingers. Ouch! We did end up keeping it and sadly less than two weeks later one of the suction cups inside the ball broke off, so now we have a useless ball that pinches.

My 8 year old daughter begged for this for her birthday. She got the red and yellow colored one. It flattens because there are 2 suctions cups on the inside of the foam ball. When the suction cups got dirt on them it wouldnt stay flat very long, it popped up before you could throw it. When we wiped the suction cups off with just our fingers it stayed stuck flat for too long, we could throw this thing from one end of our property to the other and when it hit the ground it still stayed flat. If it pops up to a ball form while in your hand your fingers get pinched in the ball. IT didnt bother my adult fingers too much but my daughter has cried many times from getting her fingers pinched. She hates this toy. It really isnt that much fun. If you play hot potato with it whoever gets the ball when it pops WILL get pinched fingers. I dont recommemd it for younger kids and older kids probably wont find it much fun.
