Not true DVDs, won't work on computerYou can not play "read with me DVD"s on a computer that plays DVDs. My kids each have a portable computer for playing games and watching DVDs. These do not work at all. Normal DVDs have options that you sellect on the screen. These need to have a remote control, which our computers do not have. This is a substandard DVD, and probably should not be called a DVD.
Learn to read DVDMy son is 5 and this was a great gift for him. He enjoys the many different activities associated with each DVD. Unlike a previous person complained, I was fully aware you needed the special player to view this DVD. The player is very easy to use and my son requires very little assistance from me. He sits for over an hour playing with each DVD!!!
Great product! My son received this as a christmas gift, and thoroughly enjoys it. This is not a regular DVD. It is designed to go with the "Read With Me DVD" system (a separate remote control that works with it on your TV). A previous reviewer was not aware of this, so it should not have received a bad review for consumer error.

Broke to easilyMy daughter liked playing with this toy, but not that long (before a year was up), the toys sound was all messed up (even with new batteries in it)and then it just broke. Don't waste your money on this product. There are plenty of durable toys out there and this is not one of them.
Love it!I have a 7 month old and he really enjoys playing with this toy. It's great for babies just mastering sitting as everything they need to enjoy themselves is within reach! The sound effects are easy on parent's ears, too:) This purchase was well worth it!
FUN!! FUN!! FUN!!Both my handicapped 8 year old son and my 15 month old absolutely love this toy!! It Taught my 15 month old to sort and now he uses his block box for sorting instead of throwing!! Even the older kids I take care of enjoy playing with this toy. The music is warm and the nature sounds are very clear. The only problem I have had is the tips of the sorting blocks break when stepped on...*LOL* other than that this is a wonderful addition to our toy collection!!

Very disappointing qualityOne of the best games out there, but this version is far from Deluxe, and I agree with the other reviewers about disappointment with the VERY cheaply made board. I would suggest finding a "classic" deluxe edition on an auction site.
Very disappointing quality of the item There is no question that Scrabble is both fun and educational from kids to senior citizen adults but the "quality" of this alleged "deluxe" turntable edition leaves much to be desired!
Besides being all plastic and the tile holding raised area only barely holding the tiles in place, the only plus side to the thing is the turntable feature but even this tends to do a sort of moving stroll so to speak and often has to held in place! Very disappointing and hardly worth what is being charged for it which I in fact believe to be a grossly inflated overcharge!
Some reviewers have commented on the older 80's vintage turntable edition of the game and that was a decidedly superior product. This apparently updated thin plastic and so-called 'deluxe' version is pure manufacturer sales hype. At half the price, it would still have been a questionable value! The quality of the item is just not there although I will make clear this in no way detracts from the fun and educational value of the game itself.

This ain't your grandma's Scrabble...So, you want to buy Scrabble, huh? You were playing at your Grandmas, and you saw she had this cool version with a rotating turntable, wooden tile holders, nice deep pockets where the letters sit on the board. You decided to buy one yourself here at amazon. You ordered it, excited to have a high quality Scrabble in your own possession. You get it in the mail, you open the box, thrilled to own Scrabble, but then.... the unthinkable!! This ain't your Grandma's Scrabble!! What they have done, is turn a nice idea into the cheapest thing they could come up with and still call it "deluxe Scrabble". PLASTIC. Everything is PLASTIC. The tiles might be wood, I dunno I didn't bite them, but everything else is cheap, thin plastic. Doesn't turn nice like the old version. And the biggest kicker of them all, is the board itself. Gone are the nice deep squares the tiles would sit in - where even if you bumped into the game or table, they would stay put. Now it's shallow grooves, and you have to be careful not to turn the board to quicky or they'll move easy.
You're better off buying an old one at a garage sale.

Disapppointing-No yoga routine Although I liked the fact that the kids were the ones doing the poses I was disappointed with this dvd. It was more of an instructional how-to than an interactive one. My 3 and 5 year old watched it and the video gets into too much explanation of the poses. The picture on the screen goes from a child doing a pose to an image of an animal or something else and leaves you waiting too long until the next pose comes up. Would have liked to see a yoga routine at the end using all the poses together that my kids could follow through and repeat on their own.
Fun for toddler, but dislike handstandMy 2 year old enjoys all the DVDs in this series. This one is her second favorite and she enjoys moving like the animals.
My only objection to this one is the inclusion of the handstand pose when this is suggested for 3 - 6 years of age. 6 years old might be the youngest I'd consider introducing that. I don't find it appropriate for 3 years old -- esp mind.
Once that seed of an idea is planted, she's going to be trying it on her own and perhaps injure herself.
The transfer to DVD from video doesn't seem that great to me or perhaps I just don't remember that the video was also uneven in filming quality.

My favorite overall "yoga kids" dvdMy kids and I like this one the best. It does not concentrate on poses as much as having fun moving your body. My 4 1/2 year old and my 2 1/2 year old can do this easily, and request this DVD frequently.

Works great - easy to put togetherWe ordered this tent to bring to the beach, it came recommended by a friend. Worked great and was easy to put together. Our 8 month old enjoyed it and loves to play with it in the house as well! I plan on using it a lot in the future and buying one for my friend who is due in October.
AWESOME Tent!!We have a 5 month old and just got back from Maui... She loved it, we loved it and everyone was happy! Worth every penny! Even our 8 year old crawled in there and took a "cat nap" (we spent a lot of time on the beach). I think if we didn't have it life on the beach would have been a real bummer, you can put the babies toys in it for entertainment and store your food and drinks to keep them free of sand (and bugs).
great tentWe brought this on vacation with us to our beach house and it worked so well. Our newborn could nap in the tent - bug and sun free while the rest of us got to enjoy the outdoors! We did put an additional beach towel over the top to make sure no sun got in.

Great game This is an excellent game for a group of people....so if your looking to have a great time with friends and family. This is the perfect gift/game. This is a must purchase.
One of the best, but switch partners and get more cards!I have owned Taboo for a few years now, and after reading all the other reviews, I decided to add my two cents in. Taboo is one of the games that almost always comes off the shelf whenever we have a game night (a few times a month) because everyone enjoys it. There isn't Trivia that can drag on, there isn't a certain category that NO ONE can get, there isn't a waiting period because EVERYONE gets involved all the time. (We have the opposite team looking over the shoulder of the "giver" usually trying to distract them--it gets to be really fun, unless you have someone who takes that too seriously.)
The buzzer has to be one of the best parts, my husband usually pretends he's "only shaving" when he's really just distracting me while I'm giving clues. I can't be on the same team as my husband due to the fact that we have the "spousal connection" as we like to put it. It really is a great game for people who have just come to your house for the first time and they don't know anybody because you really can make friends for life after hearing them shout out a silly guess to "the giver" and then you aren't accused of cheating because you don't say things like "It's our kid's favorite movie" It really works for people who are used to talking with their hands.<---(sarcasm) They can't do it in this game, and the laughs never stop. Not to mention the look on people's faces when they flip a card and have NO IDEA who or what it is. Do they skip? Do they give it a shot?
I'm not sure how educated you will be after playing a game of Taboo, but you will definitely be talking about it for a long while afterwards. There are bound to be quite a few hilarious guesses uttered during this game.
This game can get pretty loud, but it can usually get under control...we have played many times while our children slept in the next room without us waking them up.
I have been nothing but satisfied with how this game plays, but there are a few problems with it. Scoring. We usually use hashmarks 3 across until the end of the sheet, but I think that there should be a different way of doing this. Maybe with a box with separate point values. Sometimes there can be a gray area if the guessers only say the last name of the person on the card, and that team wants the point, the other team argues it. Also, the cards can get old quickly. I have looked everywhere for a fresh deck of cards with new words, but I can't seem to find them. Where are they?
Play this game sober, and you will have a blast.
Play this game while drinking with friends and you might have more fun, but you may not win :P

A timeless classicTaboo is a classic. If there was a board/party game hall of fame then Taboo would be in it. My family plays games regularly, and it is very rare that we do not pull out Taboo. This is a team game in which one person from the team gives clues as to which word is on the card without saying one of the six taboo words. The whole time there is a sand timer which adds more pressure.
This game is so fun. Whenever we play it is always plenty of shouting, jokes, and laughter. But beware... never play against a team of people who know each other well. Example: "Remember what we were talking about yesterday" COLLEGE! Correct. There were plenty of these type of clues when we played men versus women knowing the women know each other very well.

Great product, great price!I have been able to play both games, and both are enjoyable for either a quick game with friends, or long drawn out battle. This combination of games provides plenty to do with family and friends.
Cheap & FastIf you're looking for a great small party type game, these are a great combo. I got it on sale, so it's a nice cheap alternative to going to the store and paying almost 3 times the price. I would have bought them separately if the prices were right, but having these 2 games in a combo was perfect. Amazon also did a great job shipping it quick.
Value PackGreat twosome for tweens and young teens, especially for summer breaks or rainy days.

First lovey! My husband and I have a 5 month old and the three of us have had hours of enjoyment with this miraculous toy. No matter how bad his mood, the BLAH! at the end of the song makes him laugh. Daddy even used it as a puppet and gave it a voice and its own life. Only reason for four stars is that we only had it two months and it died... replaced batteries and got another three weeks before batteries wouldn't even revive it. Apparently this is the norm and probably why you find no mention of this product on the B.E. website. I hope and pray they are fixing this problem and reintroducing it. I can't figure a way to explain to a baby that his lovey can't sing anymore. BLAH!!!
Must HaveMy child loves this toy I had to replace her old one for a new one because she wore it out,she can't be with out it.
Makes baby laugh every timeI bought this dragon for my 3 month old granddaughter and she is delighted with it. She particularly likes it when I use the dragon as a puppet, and her giggles and huge grins are the reward. It is cute, but she is also being exposed to the alphabet song, so it also has the benefit of being "painlessly" educational. She likes the soft, fuzzy feel of it, too. We've only had it for about a month, and it is great. No battery or wire problems that have been reported by others--yet. It is nice to know the company is responsive to complaints and replaces products as necessary.

Cool Water Toy that every kid needsGreat price and the kids love it, I have a 5 year old and a almost 2 year girls and they like playing with the crazy hair when the water is shooting out. I would water the area on the grass first where the toy is going to be inserted into the ground to soften the ground, otherwise the toy may break. Over all. FUN and Good price.
AWESOME OUTDOOR FUN!!my dad bought this sprinkler as a preschool graduation gift for my [...] it stays in the ground w/o any problems. it shoots out SOOO much water!! we've only used it a few times, but so far it works awesome and my daughter loves it!!
FunI purchased this for my 3 year old daughter and our neighbors boys, ages 2 & 4. The kids had a good time. It is a cute toy too. It shoots out a great amount of water. The stakes could be a little longer to make it stay in the ground a little better. Not real sure of durability or longevity since it was only purchased yesterday but even if it only last for the coming summer it would be worth the money. I'm quite sure the kids will get lots of use of it this year.
