Best board game series ever made.
Star Wars Monopoly ROCKS!This game is a terrific new version of the classic. All the same rules apply of course, but if you choose, the game comes with instructions for a Star Wars twist! I won't tell you what it is, but I will tell you it has something to do with the dice. The game comes with eight character tokens (four are good guys, four are bad guys) and a blue die and a red die. The colors come in handy when playing the star Wars version. You buy and trade for planets. You buy settlements and citys instead of houses and hotels. I think it's great fun! Although I've lost every game to my little brothers! Oh, and for all you big Star wars fans out there, the instructions come with a translation guide for the Star wars galaxy Aurebush language. It helps you to read the words on the "Republic credits". All in all it's a great game, so get out there and play! May the Force be with you!
ClassicMonopoly is just a wonderful game. The classic version after 70 odd years is still just a great game. You can sit down with friends and have a wonderful time and the game is great for everyone from five and on. once a child can read monopoly is a great way to introduce them to the concept of money in a fun way. and it is just a blast to play. Even when your opponet gets upset and upends the board.

Very disappointing qualityOne of the best games out there, but this version is far from Deluxe, and I agree with the other reviewers about disappointment with the VERY cheaply made board. I would suggest finding a "classic" deluxe edition on an auction site.
Very disappointing quality of the item There is no question that Scrabble is both fun and educational from kids to senior citizen adults but the "quality" of this alleged "deluxe" turntable edition leaves much to be desired!
Besides being all plastic and the tile holding raised area only barely holding the tiles in place, the only plus side to the thing is the turntable feature but even this tends to do a sort of moving stroll so to speak and often has to held in place! Very disappointing and hardly worth what is being charged for it which I in fact believe to be a grossly inflated overcharge!
Some reviewers have commented on the older 80's vintage turntable edition of the game and that was a decidedly superior product. This apparently updated thin plastic and so-called 'deluxe' version is pure manufacturer sales hype. At half the price, it would still have been a questionable value! The quality of the item is just not there although I will make clear this in no way detracts from the fun and educational value of the game itself.

This ain't your grandma's Scrabble...So, you want to buy Scrabble, huh? You were playing at your Grandmas, and you saw she had this cool version with a rotating turntable, wooden tile holders, nice deep pockets where the letters sit on the board. You decided to buy one yourself here at amazon. You ordered it, excited to have a high quality Scrabble in your own possession. You get it in the mail, you open the box, thrilled to own Scrabble, but then.... the unthinkable!! This ain't your Grandma's Scrabble!! What they have done, is turn a nice idea into the cheapest thing they could come up with and still call it "deluxe Scrabble". PLASTIC. Everything is PLASTIC. The tiles might be wood, I dunno I didn't bite them, but everything else is cheap, thin plastic. Doesn't turn nice like the old version. And the biggest kicker of them all, is the board itself. Gone are the nice deep squares the tiles would sit in - where even if you bumped into the game or table, they would stay put. Now it's shallow grooves, and you have to be careful not to turn the board to quicky or they'll move easy.
You're better off buying an old one at a garage sale.

Hungry Hungry Hippos fun for a little while! My 4 year old had fun with this toy only for a while. My biggest complaint was that the game comes apart, which is good for storage, but bad when the child gets a hold of it and parts are everywhere.
Disappointing I was very disappointed to see how this game is constructed. When I was a kid it was all in one piece. I don't know why they changed this but it wasn't a smart thing to do. The hippos become detached when my daughter plays this game. The hippos mouths also get stuck as well.
Durable? Probably not. Fun? Yes!Many reviewers complain that it's not as durable as it was when we were kids. It's probably not. But, my five-year-old screams with delight everytime we play. Hearing him laugh like that may be worth plopping down another $[...] if it ever breaks.

Brainwashing The bloody people who think this board has anything to do with Satan are brainwashed. Why does anything that looks paranormal have to be evil? you are like sheep just following and being dumb. That's not what religion is about, that is mind control. To be honest I am very open religiously and I accept everyone's religion, but there's no point in going to tell people they're gonna fry in hell cause they believe in something different. That's what got innocent people burnt on the stake ("heretic" comes from greek and meens "choice"). I 'm sure that if you people had been the first to see a television set you would have probably thougt it was the work of the devil. And don't go sayin I'm a satanist cuse it's not the case.

Not worth your moneyThis dull game really isn't worth your money. All you do is try to hit some moles that constantly make annoying sounds. After a few seconds, the game gets boring and repetitive.Save your money and buy Monopoly instead.
It is Okay, but not great!!!Well, If your idea of a game is giving kids a hammer and wacking at stuff I guess this would be okay, It looks like it would hold up. But I found the kids were excited about it at first, but then became easily bored of it. I think 20 dollars is too much for it. And there are a lot better games out there. I would consider this more a toy that you pound on than a game, just my opinion.
This would be Okay for 2 to 4 year olds, but be prepared for your child 4 and older to become bored quickly and wish to play a game that requires more rules and interaction.
I recommend, Dot the Dog by Playschool, Get better Bear by fisher price, Let's go Fishing, Candy Land, Hi-ho Cherry- O, Connect 4 and Letter factory board Game by Leapfrog.

Jenga Stacking Game
Made by Milton Bradley
- The blockbuster of all stacking games with hardwood blocks. Pull out blocks, place them on top...don't topple the teetering tower! JENGA, JENGA, JENGA!
- Ages: 8 and Up. 1 or More Players. PLAY 1. The player who built the tower goes first. Play then continues to the left.
- 2. On your turn, carefully remove a block from anywhere BELOW the highest completed story Then stack it on top of the tower, at right angles to the blocks just below it. 3. Removing and Stacking Blocks Remove and stack one block per turn. To remove a block, use one hand at a time.
- You can switch hands whenever you wish. As play proceeds and the weight of the tower shifts, some blocks become looser than others and are easier to remove. You can touch other blocks to find a loose one - but if you move a block out of place, you must fix it (using one hand only) before touching another block.
- While stacking, always complete one 3 - block story before starting a higher one. 4. Your turn ends 10 seconds after you stack your block-or as soon as the player to your left touches a block. 5. Keep removing and stacking blocks until the tower falls.

Fun on its own, but better when combined with other gamesI played this game a few times over the years, and it's fun, but not exactly something I felt compelled to own.
Many years later, I came across Jenga again, but this time it was combined with a horror/suspense role-playing game. If you like playing RPGs, but don't like being held down by stats, die rolls, and rules, I'd suggest checking out the Dread RPG by Impossible Dream (tiltingatwindmills.net).
Whereas in other horror and suspense RPGs, you can say "my character is feeling scared", in Dread, you can look at the swaying tower and feel as scared as your character is.
Now a Jenga game is a "must-have" in my game closet!

Great game This is an excellent game for a group of people....so if your looking to have a great time with friends and family. This is the perfect gift/game. This is a must purchase.
One of the best, but switch partners and get more cards!I have owned Taboo for a few years now, and after reading all the other reviews, I decided to add my two cents in. Taboo is one of the games that almost always comes off the shelf whenever we have a game night (a few times a month) because everyone enjoys it. There isn't Trivia that can drag on, there isn't a certain category that NO ONE can get, there isn't a waiting period because EVERYONE gets involved all the time. (We have the opposite team looking over the shoulder of the "giver" usually trying to distract them--it gets to be really fun, unless you have someone who takes that too seriously.)
The buzzer has to be one of the best parts, my husband usually pretends he's "only shaving" when he's really just distracting me while I'm giving clues. I can't be on the same team as my husband due to the fact that we have the "spousal connection" as we like to put it. It really is a great game for people who have just come to your house for the first time and they don't know anybody because you really can make friends for life after hearing them shout out a silly guess to "the giver" and then you aren't accused of cheating because you don't say things like "It's our kid's favorite movie" It really works for people who are used to talking with their hands.<---(sarcasm) They can't do it in this game, and the laughs never stop. Not to mention the look on people's faces when they flip a card and have NO IDEA who or what it is. Do they skip? Do they give it a shot?
I'm not sure how educated you will be after playing a game of Taboo, but you will definitely be talking about it for a long while afterwards. There are bound to be quite a few hilarious guesses uttered during this game.
This game can get pretty loud, but it can usually get under control...we have played many times while our children slept in the next room without us waking them up.
I have been nothing but satisfied with how this game plays, but there are a few problems with it. Scoring. We usually use hashmarks 3 across until the end of the sheet, but I think that there should be a different way of doing this. Maybe with a box with separate point values. Sometimes there can be a gray area if the guessers only say the last name of the person on the card, and that team wants the point, the other team argues it. Also, the cards can get old quickly. I have looked everywhere for a fresh deck of cards with new words, but I can't seem to find them. Where are they?
Play this game sober, and you will have a blast.
Play this game while drinking with friends and you might have more fun, but you may not win :P

A timeless classicTaboo is a classic. If there was a board/party game hall of fame then Taboo would be in it. My family plays games regularly, and it is very rare that we do not pull out Taboo. This is a team game in which one person from the team gives clues as to which word is on the card without saying one of the six taboo words. The whole time there is a sand timer which adds more pressure.
This game is so fun. Whenever we play it is always plenty of shouting, jokes, and laughter. But beware... never play against a team of people who know each other well. Example: "Remember what we were talking about yesterday" COLLEGE! Correct. There were plenty of these type of clues when we played men versus women knowing the women know each other very well.

Jenga Extreme
Made by Milton Bradley
- Jenga Extreme is a new and fun way to play the unpredictable wooden stacking game because with a simple alteration the anticipation builds in a whole new direction to a suspenseful crashing. Be the last player to place a block on the top of the tower before it crashes.
- In standard Jenga gameplay players take turns pulling a block from the bottom and placing it on the top of the Jenga stack. But the difference is that with an angled block this Jenga game is never the same twice due to differences of building the tower.
- Also with this new angle to the game strategy comes into playing as players must now decide which way to place the blocks to enhance the shifting tower or deemphasize the shifting tower.
- For adults. For 12+ players.
- Packaged in plastic display case.

not for kidswayyyyy tooo hard to play, takes forever just to build it back up because of its shape and the extra oil coat that they put on the pieces
how extreme can pieces of wood be?how extreme can pieces of wood be? not very - until you cover them in slippery paint, add an angle or two, and then! no. not very. But this game is more fun than the original. and by more, i mean not much.
Made for adultsThis game is very difficult for childrens, but great for older people who has the patience building the tower. But not too older people...I think ages between 15 and 45 will have real fun with it.
