    It Looks Fun.....
If you want to check out this game, I suggest you rent it first. It gets tiring and some people like it more than others. RENT IT FIRST!

    this came with my system
i bought the system at a garage sale for 10 can. and it came with 5 games this , dk country the lion king and super mario rpg and top gear i hate the auction part but i love the rest

Great game to play against the computer!
This is the normal Monopoly game only its for your Super Nintendo. Its a great game to play against the computer, but it is very difficult to play with multi players. There are no real graphic enhancements, other than the pictures on the cards move around, and when you move from space to space Uncle Pennybags, walks along the streets to the next space. Pretty good game, but not everyone likes board games.

    A game of world conquest
A real enjoyment over games of chance - just role the dice and move some spaces - this forces the kids to think to consider to ponder to wonder. An exercise in game theory teaching kids strategy and treachery. A great game to play late into the nite until you are all so tired that you are cranky.

    Best Game Ever!!!
The game, Risk, is a fun and educational experience. I would definitely reccommend it for older children, as stragegy is key. I am a freshman in high school and played this game in my history class. I then had to write a paper on it relating it to what we were was learning in class. My class played for two days and really enjoyed it. When you play, you want to conquer the world by owning all the territories in a continent. The game takes a while to play but is worth it.

    Move Over Dr Evil!
I had looked at this game for years, blissfully ignorant of the addictive dreams that lurked within. Of course, I have always harboured secret desires leaning towards absolute power and control of the globe, so it was no surprise that "Risk" turned out to be perfect.

Basically, the game is played out between up to 6 players with various territories that are under their control. As players dominate entire continents, they gain bonus units for their forces. As they take over territories, they can collect cards for even more units. In this way, you can try to build up for using pure, brute force to achieve dominance.

However, one might like to get into some intrigue and conspiring. This, in my opinion, is where some of the best features of gameplay come out. Just the delicious opportunities to ally yourself with other players to crush a mutual enemy, and then turn on each other when the deed is done. The fluidity of gameplay is greatly enhanced, and the tension mounts with not really knowing who to trust. It is a very important part of the game's appeal and enjoyment, in my opinion.

There are lots of little pieces to the game, so that may be an issue for those with younger children in the house. It is a bit easy to lose pieces. Other than this issue, the pieces and board are quite durable and you should get years of enjoyment out of the game.

For the taste of strategy, crushing opponents like bugs, double-dealing and treachery, all spiced up with pure war, "Risk" is a very addictive and extremely cool game. It will entertain your for hours, and is a great way to spend an evening with friends.

Although, how long they remain friends is open to debate!

    Very disappointing quality
One of the best games out there, but this version is far from Deluxe, and I agree with the other reviewers about disappointment with the VERY cheaply made board. I would suggest finding a "classic" deluxe edition on an auction site.

Very disappointing quality of the item
There is no question that Scrabble is both fun and educational from kids to senior citizen adults but the "quality" of this alleged "deluxe" turntable edition leaves much to be desired!

Besides being all plastic and the tile holding raised area only barely holding the tiles in place, the only plus side to the thing is the turntable feature but even this tends to do a sort of moving stroll so to speak and often has to held in place! Very disappointing and hardly worth what is being charged for it which I in fact believe to be a grossly inflated overcharge!

Some reviewers have commented on the older 80's vintage turntable edition of the game and that was a decidedly superior product. This apparently updated thin plastic and so-called 'deluxe' version is pure manufacturer sales hype. At half the price, it would still have been a questionable value! The quality of the item is just not there although I will make clear this in no way detracts from the fun and educational value of the game itself.

    This ain't your grandma's Scrabble...
So, you want to buy Scrabble, huh? You were playing at your Grandmas, and you saw she had this cool version with a rotating turntable, wooden tile holders, nice deep pockets where the letters sit on the board. You decided to buy one yourself here at amazon. You ordered it, excited to have a high quality Scrabble in your own possession. You get it in the mail, you open the box, thrilled to own Scrabble, but then.... the unthinkable!! This ain't your Grandma's Scrabble!! What they have done, is turn a nice idea into the cheapest thing they could come up with and still call it "deluxe Scrabble". PLASTIC. Everything is PLASTIC. The tiles might be wood, I dunno I didn't bite them, but everything else is cheap, thin plastic. Doesn't turn nice like the old version. And the biggest kicker of them all, is the board itself. Gone are the nice deep squares the tiles would sit in - where even if you bumped into the game or table, they would stay put. Now it's shallow grooves, and you have to be careful not to turn the board to quicky or they'll move easy.

You're better off buying an old one at a garage sale.

    Catch Phrase
This is an awesome game ! The first time I played it was at a "game night". The hostess invited TONS of people. Turns out only a few people showed up and and she had her kids there too. (not a bad thing, just unexpected) Ages ranged from 16-40. What started out as 6 people staring at each other, turned out to be hours of fun. I laughed so hard I cried. It is an effortless game to play, and no parts and pieces to keep track of.

    great
This is so much fun! At first, you're like...well, i dunno if i wanna play...but then you start playing and you can't stop!

Catch Phrase Will Blow You Away
If you've ever seen Pyramid the game show, you'll already know how to play, almost. In this game, you divide into two teams and sit every other team member in a circle. One person starts with the gadgetmerbobber, and a word is given, like "France". You've got to get your partner(s) to say it without saying it starts with F, rhymes with pants, or any part of the word! Quick! Pass it, your partner got it. Once the timer goes off, points are awarded. A great game for the whole family! Only one downside, the cards don't last as long as you'd like, so you'll have to purchase more, and there are ordering instructions along with the game.
