It's clever but....I think this game is Awsome! But once you finish all 5 levels and play all the games unless you buy the mall or car or another house. Then thats about all you can do. I am keeping the game for a bit. I'll think if I want to keep it. It's probaly better for younger kids. i think I might buy the Mall and see if it makes the game better. then return it. If it makes the game better I'll keep the house and return the mall. if it still is really limited ill return both. Thats what I think of this game.
Looks so cool!I want one of these sooo much! I want the Mansion. If anyone wants to tell me about it, Janellworks@aim.com . This looks so cool. I was wondering about the cars and the stores. Are they cool? because I'm going to get a Pixel chix tomarrow probaly. And I'm deciding wich other one I want. Store or car? Well, A friend of mine has one. But, she lives across the country. so tell me about it. I want one of these! Once i get It I'll put a review here!
So much fun!I have the pixel chix miami loft and it's so cool! There are five levels and I'm on the fourth one. It doesn't take very long to move up a level. When you get you may find it to be a little boring, but that's because the first level doesn't have that much stuff on it. But you can get other toys for her like a car and other houses to connect with. The box says to put three or more houses together to see what happens. I don't know what happens yet. I only have one house. Thanx for reading! Hope I helped!

Okay, but nothing like the real buzztime triviaI got this as a gift because I love to play trivia in restraunts. Yes, the game is fun, but there is so much more than can be improved. What I do like is the wireless remotes, it makes it much easier to play and be comfortable and play with larger groups of people. But, the graphics are horrible, sometimes even hard to read. There is no where on your remote to tell what number you have chosen, so if you pushed the wrong one you dont know it and never know unless it is the right answer. Also, starting the game takes forever! The worst part of the game is after only playing 2 games, the questions start to repeat themselves! For the price of this game, this should not happen so quickly. The games says ther are 750 questions, but you will get atleast 2 or more repeats in each game which takes away from the fun. I wish they had made it better quality for the price. I will keep playing it though because I need my trivia fix, but the scene it game is not only funner, but you get more for your money!
Really Fun Trivia! This game is Trivia in a very fun and all-inclusive way. I bought this game for my family about a month ago. We love Trivial Pursuit and play often. I thought this would be a nice change.
We set the game up on Thanksgiving. The whole family loved it and there was an on-going trivia tournament the entire day and through the evening. It was hard to get people away from the game to eat Thanksgiving dinner!
In my opinion the best and most distinct reason this game is great is the "all-play" scenario it creates. My kids (ages 9-12) don't get bored because there is zero down time. Every player plays on every question. You are always on your toes...you play one question after another after another. This is a real "buzz-in" style game...like TV game shows. The controllers are wireless too, so it is family room friendly!
Also, I rated this game highly educational. Trivia is always mind stimulating. This game follows up the correct answer with supplementary facts! Very informational. I give this item a big THUMBS UP! We will be giving the kids game cartridges in their stockings this Christmas! If you like trivia, you got to get this game!

Great all-family funWe played Buzztime with our family and its a great game for parents to play with their kids. The questions covered a wide range of topics and it was fun to learn something new that we didn't know. I'd recommend this for your next family night.

Where "Whips are Normal" and "Canada is Misunderstood"This charming game is a fantastic way of getting to know what your friends are really like. Every round, you have an "adjective" card (like "normal" or "misunderstood"). Each player then takes one "noun" card from their hand and places it face down. A judge (a rotating position between players) chooses the noun card that they think matches the adjective the best. Of course, the real fun comes in trying to lobby for your card! ("No really, whips ARE normal!")
Just plain funApples to Apples is a quick set up and quick to learn game for the entire group. The idea is a simple one and lots of fun. Every person gets a certain amount of the red cards which have people, places, events and things on them. One person is chosen to be the judge and they choose a card from the green card pile in which each card has an adjective on it. The judge reads the card and definition if necessary. People then choose which of their red cards best fits that word. The judge then chooses which one he/she likes best and the winner keeps the green card. After collecting so many, that person wins the game. Everyone takes turns being the judge, so it stays fun for all. It's hilarious to see what people choose and game goes quickly. A great one to keep at home for any gatherings.
Funny school and home board gameMy teacher let us use this game during free time. Kids couldn't wait to play, it was so much fun. When there was a theme like scary or weird we would put kid shows which made it really funny. Once the theme was weird and a kid put teletubbies. The kid actually won. It is a real fun game. I will hopefully get it for my birthday. Also i hope i am writing on the correct apples to apples since im not sure if it was on the junior version or on the regular version.

Cadoo is a Cadon'tI bought Cadoo one Christmas for my nephew because he thought it would be fun. He was wrong. I played it one time with him and while we were playing he got bored. There is no real point to this game.
HullabalooThis is a great game. My 2 1/2 and 6 both play it together. It helps the little one to learn colors and shapes and identifying pictures and most importantly to listen to instructions. Its a fun action game because the speaker calls out the new location to find and tells the players how to get there -- spin to a red, crawl to a square. It is even fun to play alone. I definitely recommend this.
Great fun for kids of different agesI had this game on my Amazon wish list, and a good friend purchased it as a "big brother" gift for my two eldest when their baby brother was born. Since they had lots of toys already, I kept it hidden in my closet for the right day... when the baby would be awake, the downstairs neighbors would be gone, etc.
Well, I pulled it out today, popped the batteries in, and voila! Like magic, my normally squabbling 3 1/2 and 6 1/2 year olds were giggling, bouncing, and leaping all over the place. The great thing is that it's an active game, but they have to listen to the game's instructions, so they don't get overly wild. This is a terrific game for a small birthday party (though you can order spare game pads from Cranium and use it for bigger groups or classes), or just to bring out when the kids are bored and can't go burn off energy outside.
The game is really simple; it comes with the battery-operated pod and 16 pads that you scatter on the floor. They vary in shapes, colors, and emblems (things like animals, instruments, and food). The players have to listen to the pod's instructions (ie "spin over to a circle! Touch your nose to an animal!"), and after a certain number of instructions, the game will tell the players to freeze, and announce that if anyone is standing on a certain pad, they're the winner, and should take a bow or do a funky dance.
I was thrilled to have a game that's active and something that both my kids could play together -- since it's essentially a listening-to-instructions game of luck, one wouldn't necessarily beat the other.
This is a terrific example of how well-thought-out the Cranium games are. I'm sure we'll get lots of use out of this!

Bubble Party Machine
Made by Toysmith
Amazon base price: $
Average review score:

Slippin' and Slidin'The bubble machine was an absolute hit with the children at the party. It worked well and produced lots of bubbles that flew through the yard. There was only one downfall. When the wind didn't take the bubbles into flight, they would pop on the concrete. This made the concrete extremely slippery and dangerous for the childern playing around the machine. It just needed to be a little more powerful to blow the bubbles further. After we moved the machine, all was fine.
Bubble Machine ComparisonComparison of:
-Bubble Party Machine
-Gazillion Bubble Machine
-Typhoon the Ultimate Bubble Fountain
-Bubble Party Machine
-Creative Motion 80202-9 Bubble Machine
I purchased the 4 above Bubble Machines for a local
New Orleans event, The PussyFooters' Car Wash, and didn't
want to be disappointed, since the bubbles were to be used
for attracting drivers' attention. These are my findings.
#1 Overall - Bubble Party Machine
Of the 4 machines this was the ONLY one to deliver as one would expect.
Used the AC adaptor (included), didn't try the 8 C cells.
Immediate bubbles each and every time you turn it on
Double wands, offset from each other, results in continuous bubbles.
Directional flaps to control air flow.
Windy conditions and still bubbled.
The Only problem was that it has a tendency to "spit" soap solution along with the bubbles (due to the extra strong fan).
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0002COIZO/102-5922722-2809761?%5Fencoding=UTF8&v=glance
One review says that "Only one side was blowing bubbles and they were very, very weak". There are directional flaps inside that redirect the fan's air. If these are 90 degrees off, then they will block the fan, i.e. no bubbles, otherwise, if the fan is blowing, the wheel is turning, and soap is in the tray, this thing will bubble!
The rest are hard to rate, they all came in fourth compared to the
output of the Bubble Party Machine.
Gazillion Bubble Machine
Used 6 AA batteries.
Not bad for the price, worked when protected from the wind.
Creative Motion 80202-9 Bubble Machine
Might have worked if not so windy, used the AC adaptor included.
When working, gaps between bubbles.
Mishandling caused wand wheel to snap.
-Gazillion Bubble Machine
Used 8 AA batteries.
Extremely poor design, uses a pump to pump solution from bottom to top resulting
in heavy battery consumption.
Attempts to coat wand in horizontal position, many "duds" resulting in few bubbles.
