Like it pretty muchPretty nice game. The illustrations do not look exactly like the characters in the movie. They are more like cartoon illustrated (see front cover-- the illustrations inside are similar). This was a little dissappointing at first. The voices are pretty good, it has some nice songs, and teaches some educational facts about the sea. My son's favorite part is the deep sea page.
Finding Nemo #1This is a really Neat leap pad book! My kids LOVED the movie! And were ecstatic, to get the leap pad book. It has some entertaining games, and my kids ask to play this book alot more than others. I highly recommend this book! It has alot of FUN stuff in it. I hope your children like it as much as my 7, 6, and 3 year olds do.. :)
grab shell dude!Alex got this for Christmas and absolutely loves it! This is neck and neck w/Lion King as his favorite LeapPad book. The best part for the 'big people' in the house are the jellyfish game and the turtle game.

Great science and fun!The manual is easy for anyone over 8 to use with very little help. Great design. My son loved the smaller set two years ago so at 11 he was ready for this bigger set. Great for young science and building fans.
fun toyMy 9 year old son just recently got this toy. He loves it. He loves to follow the diagrams in the included booklet and make the different combinations. He also likes to make up his own combinations. I think it is educational in that he can experiment with it to try to make it do different things. The only problem that I have with it is that nothing is explained. He doesn't know why(and I'll admit that he doesn't care why) the bells whistle or the lights light up etc. I think there should be some basic explanations about how and why everything works.
Fun easy safe learningMy seven year old was very enthusiastic about snap circuits after I made the first one.
The circuits are fairly easy to make from the instructions and it quickly teaches a basic understanding of electicity.
I have not seen this toy for sale in stores.
I would highly recommend this toy for this age and above

Great product! One of our foster sons doesn't enjoy school, partially, because he is a visual, hands on learner. He really enjoys working with my husband on this kit. He'll even read (a struggle for him) the instructions so he can do a new project with it.
Hours of fun!I got this for my son two years ago for Christmas and he still uses it. It comes with an almost endless supply of ways to hook it up to do different things. It was definatly worth the money since it got used and not shoved down in the toy box and forgotten!
Worked for me, and now for himI have a 9 year old son. I got this for him last Christmas. I only bought it because I remembered when I had something similar to it a long time ago. I remembered how much I learned from it about electricity, and how it got me into it. The look on my boy after a few hours playing with it was just the same as I had years ago. This toy is very enjoyable and educational at the same time. I have another boy (5years old), and he doesn't know how to play with it, but he has an intrest of the sounds it makes, and some of the projects you can have your voice broadcasted through a weak AM channel. My son took it to school to show and tell, and the teacher asked him if he can bring it again so they can work on some of the projects it has in it. All in all it is FUN 4 ALL ;)

Intriguing & EntertainingThis was the best purchase! I bought this last year for my 5yr old as she was not interested in handheld GameBoy, altho she tried when her brother wasn't looking. Now, being 6, she still loves it. She has to tell her 8 yr old brother, No, I'm using it. My son also loves to use this, especially in the car on road trips--to the grocery store or 2hours plus trips. I'm thinking of buying another one, so I don't have to listen to the fighting who gets to use it! The volume is no problem and the variety of programs is fantastic for both the older and younger sets. I highly recommend this intriguingly educational and extremely fun game!
very educational and entertainingMy 6-year-old and 9-year-old love playing this LeapPad toy very much, and I love buying LeapPad products for them. I'd rather have my kids play LeapPad than computer software or GameBoy. Keep up the good work, LeapFrog.
Great game!I bought this for my 3rd grader and it's a real hoot to play. The voice that talks you through is very funny and keeps him interested. It's also great that the game can be played alone because out of my 3 kids (4, 8 & 10) only the 8 yr old likes to play games often. The questions are challenging enough for them. What I like best is that the kids have to pay attention or they'll miss something (and hence answer incorrectly). It teaches them patience. The volume has been no problem for us...there is always a volume (- +) area on these leap pads to adjust. We just turn it up loud! A great buy for only $7!

MY GIRLS LOVE ITWe've bought this many times and the kids never seem to get tired of it. My kids range in age from 2 to 10 and they all enjoy watching the caterpillars change to butterflies. It's always a special family event when we let them go.
This is Awesome!I purchased this for my Kindergarten class and the LOVED IT! the package came to me quickly and the directions were very easy to read. I sent off for the caterpillars and they came back to me in about one week. My students were so excited everyday they came in my room. They told teachers in the hallway and their parents to come to my room to see "Their Butterflies". It was a very good learning experience and one that I will do every year with every class. I would recommend this product to anyone, it is well worth the money and time and very easy to follow. Thanks.
Amazing Experience for the Entire FamilyIf you're looking for a gift for a child that's just the right combination of fun, excitement, and an excellent learning experience, you've found it.
I cannot recommend this product enough. I bought it for my five year-old niece and it quickly became an adventure for her and the entire family.
The caterpillars were delivered promptly. All five were alive and soon began eating themselves silly. The chrysalides formed in a matter of hours after just a couple days of eating. A few days later, they hatched overnight into gorgeous Pink Ladies.
What a wonderful way to teach children (and adults!) about the miracle and fragility of life.
The house itself is durable and well-made and the educational materials that accompany it are clear and informative.
One tip if you do buy this item: Keep an eye on them. They grow up so fast! Taking pictures of their different stages might be good for a elementary school science project, too.

never againI bought this for my daughter last year and it was a waste of money. I thought she would enjoy making this and she was bored immediately.
Excellent learning and independent play toyI bought it for my son's 6th birthday. It is an excellent toy to learn basics about chemistry, mixing colors, growing crystals. He used it numerously (you should make sure that you save the dyes in the bottles provided) and learned quickly to play independently.
fun scienceYou should buy this because it can help you in science. It's fun to make crystals and do the experiments. It was fun for me because the crystals start out hard and become big and squishy and end up hard with the colors that you add to them. (From a 7 and 5 year old). Mom agrees this was a fun project to do with them!

iQuest Cartridge: 5th Grade Social Studies with One Cartridge
Amazon base price: $
Average review score:

Who knew?Who would have thought that my son's 5th grade Social studies book wouldn't be included on this cartridge? When the item description didn't mention that it wouldn't be compatible with all curriculums, I didn't think twice about ordering this. My school system uses all of the mainstream text books, yet I keep striking out with these cartridges because none of our books are included in any of the subjects. Amazon should list the textbooks that are included on the cartridges in the product description. It would be easy enough, as the books are listed right on the back of the package.
Not currentThis cartridge is not current. My kid has a 2005 textbook which is not in the cartridge.
GREAT PRODUCTPRODUCT GREAT AND HELPFUL. IMPROVED A LETTER GRADE AND ENJOYED IT! GREAT BUY!!

Edu Science Microscope Lab with Light & Projector

Great 1st microscopeThis microscope is not a "toy". It has quality and works well with adjustments. It DOES need to be handled with care. The case is very durable and comes with real tools that are sharp. There are many microscope accessories including 12 glass slides, petri dish, tools, and more. The light is kind of weak, but does the job. We are also able to project the image on the wall.
ExcellentThis is an awesome toy my kids just love it and so do i an my husband. it is realy fun to look at almost anything blood, saliva, bugs, fingernail, spider webs, etc.
Awsome ToyThis toy is a good toy if you plan on becoming a scientist!

Glow in the Dark Star Explosions

Little Tiny Pieces That Don't Hold Their GlowThis item came in the mail and my 4 year old son and I were very excited. I guess we should have read the description more carefully because I wasn't expecting so many tiny little pieces. We used ticky tack and began the tedious process of sticking the different sized stars and such all over his room. We waited that night to see the glowing celestial extravaganza. We kept the light on for some time to 'charge' the glow in the dark element then turned off the light. What we found was nothing close to amazing. The glow was fairly dim and only lasted for a very short period of time. We even turned a blacklight on them and all that did was make them glow a little brighter but, again, the glow only lasted about 10 -15 minutes. I ended up going back online and buying glow in the dark paint and a star shaped sponge. We dabbed stars all over his ceiling. These glowing stars last most of the night and our friends and family think his room is really cool.
Here's an ideaWhen sticking the stars up on the ceiling, don't use the putty provided, the heat makes them fall down within a few days. So instead use a hot glue gun with silicon it doesn't ruin your stars or ceiling paint and they wont fall off... Thats what i used from the start from previous experience.
Star-ifficMy husband and I got these stars for or unborn sons room. We recently put them up. We both love the way the room came out. The stars glow just enough to spark unbelieveable imaginations. They take a bit of time to put up, but in the end it is WELL worth the time it takes.
