I bought this toy from the store for my 3 year old. The trees are a bit delicate, but all other components are sturdy. I wish they had some literature included describing a little bit about each animal with there names and picture. I also agree with other people that the company should replace some animals with new ones. As the bucket is full of elephants and giraffes, but there is no tiger or boar.
Infact they just one tiny lion and zebra.

WE received this toy as a gift--our children (ages 3 and 1) love it. We removed the small parts (a choking hazard to the baby). As a parent, I wondered why the packaging features pictures of zebras--but there aren't any toy zebras inside? I also wondered why it contained mostly giraffes (6), and elephants (6) of various sizes, but only had ONE tiny lion and ONE tiny cheetah. Perhaps this toy could benefit from having a larger variety of animals, or a better distribution of the current animals to balance-out the set. Quite fun, however.

This toy is fabulous, reasonable priced, durable and continues to provide hours of fun... but... BEWARE!!!
My daughter emptied the bucket and put it over her head. It got stuck because it is the perfect size that it goes on, but is too tight to remove. The problem comes when you try to take it of, there is a semi-sharp lip on the bucket and it really hurts and can potentially cut your child as you remove it! We had to cut the bucket off! Which isn't eay either. I would but this toy again, just dispose of the bucket. This happened to a neighbors little boy too! They should change the size of the opening. Suffocation or other injury could occur.

My daughter got this for her 7th birthday. She loved the idea and had fun doing it. It took two days to dig all the pcs. out. She found her first pc right away and very happy and kept going at it. I would not do this in the house. It is put together with very tiny rocks and when you start diging the pcs go flying! I spent a long time vaccuming and swepping the floor! Outside would be best! You can also paint it, Which she only did about half then got bored. The pcs were hard to get together, hubby had to get most of them. But the feet come off pretty easy! Over all she had fun!
