Fun toy, some minor problems
Seizure Dog!We call him Seizure Dog because the color scheme is, frankly, almost nauseating to grown-up eyes. But babies react to this little guy like no other toy I've seen. It was really the first thing that my daughter ever responded to outside of food and people. She used to fall asleep holding some part of Seizure Dog's anatomy and would wake up playing with one of the various dangly bits. The high-contrast and bright primary color scheme really draws infants' eyes, especially from generally (and appropriately!) sedate and relaxing nurseries.
We now buy Seizure Dogs for all of our friends with babies. The next one we get will be the 6th one of these we've purchased, so I'd have to say we highly recommend it!

Love this little dogWe have had this toy since my son was 3 weeks old...he is almost 7 months now, and he has loved it all along. It still looks great and still barks, when we travel we are always sure to take "red" Thomas' favorite toy! It has lots of 'chewable' pieces and it attatches to almost all of his travel gear.

Look at the books more than use the LeappadI bought this for my daughter when she was 7 months. She is now three years old and can finally push on the pages hard enough to make it work. She actually spends more time just looking at the pages than actually using the Little Leappad as it is intended. We now have a second daughter who is 12 months as she has experienced the exact same thing.
We do play together with the girls using this product; however both my children are quite independent and want to do this for themselves. When they can't get it to work - primarily because it requires to hard of a touch to activate - they get frustrated and move on to a new toy.
I am a huge fan of LeapFrog. However, must admit I am disappointed in this product. It is not their best. Due to our experience with this product, we have opted not to purchase the Leappad for our daughter and instead went with a competitor's product. Hopefully, we will have better luck.

We love this bookThis is a great investment. I just think kids need to want to sit and look at books. Our son was 18 months before he wanted to pay attention. Now he uses it daily. :)
Great BooksWe got this for my son when he was 9 months old. He wasn't intrested with it until he was about 20 months old; but now its great!!! He has played with it daily for about 6 consecutive months now. The noises are realistic and the voices very clear. I love that there is noise level adjuster as well.

So-SoReceived as a 1st birthday gift for my daughter. Eventually we stopped using the drums in the bath because water was getting trapped in the floatation bits and not draining. She is now two and uses the sticks to beat on everything but the drums. Not my favorite gift since kitchen pots and pans work just as well and hold her interest longer.
RUB A DUB DUB, A BAND IN THE TUB!!!!!!!These drums are great!!!! all 4 of my kids...ages 10, 8, 6, and 17 months, love these!!!! Bath time takes much longer since I bought these and the water flutes. (and a little confesion...I like them as well!) I highly recommend these for any age child and their parents!!!!
Great bath toyMy daughter was given these drums when she was 13mths and loved them as soon as she got them, they are now requested most nights at bathtime. A great buy.

Good Choice...You won't be sorry you purchased this game. I think it really helped our daughter master basic concepts like "on/off." Even now, at 18 months, she will strut by and roll the key that starts the ABC song. This was one of our daughter's favorite toys when she was younger. I'd say she enjoyed it most when she was around 7- 10 months old or so...
Fantastic! My daughter received this toy as a gift when she was [...] We started with it on the floor, then put the legs on it when she started to pull up. She plays with it daily. It has many different songs and sounds, so she is entertained for long periods of time. It's great for teaching different instrument sounds and the songs are not annoying at all.
Wonderful!!!My neighbor gave my son this table. He LOVES the music!!! The table encouraged him to stand and it keeps his attention. Well worth it.

8 Months OldI bought this thinking my son would enjoy it at about a year and a half. As soon as I put it on the fridge he understood how to push the buttons and really enjoys the song. I like the song too, the voice is not one that makes you cringeeach time you hear it, instead you chuckle at the silliness of it. I think every child should have one of these.
cute, fun, a godsend while cookingThis fun little toy helps entertain my daughter while I do dishes and get dinner ready. She initially just had fun fitting the pieces into the main toy; now she brings the magnets to us and says "horse" or "cow." It's the rare educational and fun toy that makes sounds but isn't terribly annoying. There are also two volume levels, which is good for the parents.
A Must Have!Received this as a gift for my 5 month old son. He LOVES it!!!! His face just lights up & he gets the biggest grin whenever he hears it and we dance to the music. BONUS: It's also a great way to distract a hungry baby while his bottle warms.

Rock, Roll and Ride XL Trike
Made by Fisher Price
- As your child grows, the base converts to an extra long push handle so you can comfortably stroll behind while they learn to pedal.
- When your child is ready to ride on their own, the handle removes, seat adjusts, and foot pegs fold up for easy, independent pedaling.
- It starts as a statioanry rocker, with a flip of the rocker base it converts to a trike with a parent assist handle and then by removing the base it converts again to a stand alone trike.
- A child's first trike with three fun ways to ride!
- Recommended Age Range 1.5 to 5 Years
Amazon base price: $29.99

My grandaughter loves to rock, roll and rideThe rock, roll, and ride xl trike is perfect for a young child. My grandaughter who just turned 1 will sit and rock on it for hours before her mom takes her for a spin around the park. It is solid and has many different ways to move.
Mixed feelingsWe bought this toy for my son for his 2nd birthday. He LOVED it.
From a parents view, the bad things about this trike are: first - the handle is very low. I am only 5ft tall and it is uncomfortably low even for me. After a few times around the block my back was aching. Second - I wish you could lock the front tire so the kids can't steer it while you are trying to push. I was constantly fighting him over to the side of the road (hence my back ache!!)The only way to turn this while pushing with the handle is to tip it back and then shift it over. Third - as with all plastic ride on toys, it's very loud on the pavement.
Overall, I think it's a good toy for the money.
In the drive way or on the sidewalk it was great for my son. He started at first by pushing himself around with his feet and by the end of the summer he was able to peddle it himself. It also would have been nice if the handle was removable. We ended up getting him a 12 in bike this year because once he figured out how to peddle he didn't want us to push him.

Still going strong after 4 years! My granddaughter received this when she was one year old. She is now 5 1/2 and STILL rides this bike even though she has a Disney Princess 2 wheeler and can ride a bike without training wheels. This is an old favorite and she always comes back to it. When she has friends over they take turns riding this trike. You will definately get your moneys worth with this bike!

Easy to cleanI purchased the water table and sand table separately because I knew that my 3-year old would not be able to resist mixing sand and water. I don't blame him. I liked this water table because I could just dump out the dirty water when the kids were done and refill it with clean. That would be hard to do with a combination table. The kids love the water wheel that turns and the ramp for the boats. The only fault that I can find with it is that the legs are really short. It sits low to the ground even for a 3-year old. They usually just make do with it or sit ina couple of plastic chairs while they play. Over all I think it is a good purchase for water play.
The water table was a hit!My Grandson loved the Water Wheel. He had so much fun. I recommend this toy for any one year old that enjoys playing in water.
Great first water table!I love this water table and the colors are so cute and remind me of the sea!
My son got this for Christmas from Dranny (Grandma...don't ask), but didn't get to use it until about two months ago as it was at her house in another state.
The very first day he played with it he splished and splashed, had a good time, and got SOAKED! :)
Accessories included are:
Water Wheel
2 Sailboats
1 Pouring Cup
It does feature a plug.
My only gripe about this table is that there is no cover...as with most other water (or water and sand) tables. I always feel so wasteful when he only plays with it for maybe an hour and then I have to dump it out until the next use. Of course, you want to dump it if you aren't going to use it for a while, but with a cover you could get a couple of days of use from it. You're forced to dump it because we all know that dirt, grass, and other random plant-life or bugs make their way into bodies of water.
So, that is my major complaint. I also wish that the water wheel was attached or clipped in somehow as my little man thinks it's funny to throw it off the deck or in the yard somewhere causing me to have to run and get it every bit or so.
I also recommend trying this table with sand. Sure, it says it's a water table, but there is no harm in putting sand into either or both of the sections.
Recommend!

Daughter Loves ThisMy 15 month old has been playing with this since she was 9 months old and isn't tired of it yet. She loves it.
My only negative comment is on the construction. When putting it together I wasn't able to make it as stable as I thought it should be. It rocks on its base. When my daughter was younger and she leaned on it for support it made me a bit nervous. Now that she is walking and climbing she's learned that she can rock it by pushing on the top half. We've checked the screws and adjusted them several times but the house continues to rock.
Although it seems unstable it has never tipped over. Our daughter loves it so much that we refuse to get rid of it. Overall, it's a great toy.

Great toy for child that loves doors!!My son loves doors!!! I asked my Dad to get this toy for his Christmas present (he was 1 year old then). I knew he would play with it, but I didn't know he much he would love it! He's now 1-1/2 yrs old and still loves to play with it all the time, more than once a day and up to an hour at a time. He even drags riding toys through the door to take them in "his house". I have more photos and movies around this toy than any other one.
Note about the screws: They were in a small bag, taped inside the box so they weren't easily seen. I called Fisher Price to get a new bag. They told me they were back ordered because people didn't know where to look. Easy enough to put together, but have a long THIN screw driver if you want all the screws in.
If your child loves to play with doors, then they will love this toy. The price now is about $5 less than Christmas 2005, so it's a great deal. I haven't seen too many stores carrying this toy, either. Is a great toy to have when you are trying to make dinner and don't want to worry about baby getting hurt.

We love the Laugh and Learn lineThis is a really great toy with many fun activities. The songs and sounds are very cute and it's not a toy that will become irritating to grownups who have to listen to it. I have nieces who range in age from 5-9 and they also enjoy playing with it. It's designed for children of all ages so you will get your money's worth!

Mini Micro Preschool Scooter

Very PleasedI had bought the scooter for my 2 1/2 yr.old grandson. My daughter was very pleased with it. And my grandson used it,and even glided along with it. Before this, he had not ridden a scooter.I would recommend this scooter for a young child.
Don't pass this one by!I waited for the price to come down on this and now wishing I had purchased months ago! I bought it for my 4 year old girl, and she couldn't be more pleased! Her 7 year old brother also loves it although he's a bit heavy for it. She zooms all over the house (nice soft wheels on hardwood) and we go around the block, downtown, you name it. She can easily work the brake and she is the perfect size for the handle. It's lightweight and flexible. Her physical confidence has soared with this scooter and it's just too cute to watch her zoom around with the big kids. They, of course, are all wanting a larger version of the same type, so maybe Preschool needs to think to a bigger kid version....
Great toddler scooterThis scooter was very easy for my 3 year old to use. He got on and started using it immediately. I love the fact that it turns with ease and it stays upright when he is finished using it. I am very happy with this purchase.

EXCELLANT LEARING TOOL!
EXCELLANT LEARING TOOL!
I took one star off due to some minor problems: 1) it is not machine washable (unless you don't mind loosing the barking sound) and 2) the battery can't be replaced.
